Many people ask, "What causes heart attacks?". And although it is a complex issue, diet plays a big role. So in this video, we explore what some of the worst breakfasts are for heart attack risk.
Many of these foods have been touted as healthy by health authorities, yet new science over the past few decades have now proven some of this dietary advice to be flawed.
Ironically, the very breakfast generation before us ate, which were based on wholefoods are now replaced with low quality and highly processed foods that spike blood sugar and increase the risk of atherosclerosis and blocked arteries.

The Heart Disease Code channel is educational content to help people make diet and lifestyle adjustments to support people in reducing their risk of heart attacks, strokes, myocardial infection and coronary artery disease. Millions of people die each year from heart disease as it is still the leading cause of death. Although medication like statins can be helpful for some people, taking preventative steps to help the body stay healthy is important. We also discuss topics such as high triglycerides, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes and obesity which are all risk factors for heart disease.

My dear ol’grand father ate every day sausage bacon and eggs for breakfast, ham or corn beef sandwiches for lunch & 500 grams of red meat & veggies for dinner for at least 85 years & passed at 93 only because a tractor flipped on him so it gets me bewildered how science can say he ate unhealthy for his entire life 🤷🏻‍♂️

I would say your grandfather was spot on. I have thrown all low fat, healthy, good for you, natural, fortified rubbish in the bin years ago. I cook with animal fat and butter, never vegetable oils, no processed junk food in a box. I have normal BP and I have lost 30lbs overall, we are fed poison, if you want health eat proper foods, science is screwed. Much health friend ❤

Amen, my grandfather did the same thing, eight eggs bacon everyday and supplemented with garlic and wine. Hundred percent Sicilian, but there was no preservatives in the food in those days and I also believe everything in moderation everything in moderation. Today's food is poison unless you Garden yourself and raise your own meat

Your grandad most likely was active, working on his farm daily, he didn't live a sedentary lifestyle, sitting behind the computer or watching Netflix, these made a whole lot of difference, hence he lived that long. He must have also taken so much sunlight daily, and drank lots of water.

A lot of it comes down to Genetics, my mother ate TV dinners each day. She loved chocolate and Mcdonalds, but she ate small portions and walked everyday. She lived until 93, never spent 1 day in the hospital. She never took any medicines, she passed in her sleep from dementia.

Do you know the cause of dementia? Many doctors these days believe sugars are the cause. Of course wheat, potatoes, etc. all turn to sugar as soon as you put it into your mouth. My mother died from the same thing, she added sugar to her tea every day and died in her late eighties. It's usually the men that die first from heart disease and diabetes.

We sometimes have blueberry muffins from there are well. i love eggs so some breakfasts see me eat two or three eggs and two sausage patties and a piece of toast I also add a had boiled egg to my supper salads; Avocados with chili sauce catsup, or salsa fiiing the empty hole left by the seed is a great way to put some spice into a rather bland fruit. Regarding seeds i do like sunflower and pumpkin seeds or pepitas, a treat that I introduced to my wife only a few months ago. I also get a lot of protein from cheese. I am a fan of sharp cheddar, muenster, swisa, gouda, and any blue cheese from roquefort when I can afford it, English stilton, Danish Blue, and Italian Gorgonzola. each blue has its own individual characteristics.

That’s such a generic statement to make. Millions are at their dr with disease that just spring up. For a girl who was horrifically skinny (73 lbs at 13 or 99lbs after all three pregnancies) weight issues isn’t something I thought I would ever had to deal with yet here I am at 58 having to worry about high blood pressure and autoimmune issues. It’s either tweek your diet and change your mindset about foods or visit the doctor or the the grave. The choice is yours.

My mother passed at 92, she ate eggs, toast or fruit loops everyday of her life, had a small glass of wine everyday, ate lots of meat. What did she die from? Early Covid victim. She was sharp as a tack.
My Grandparents ate whatever they wanted, when they wanted 92 - 97 when they passed. simply died in their sleep. Both took a shot of Irish once a day. We've entered the "new world" of don't eat this, eat that, don't drink that, drink this. As Mom said - it's all in moderation, enjoy life eat what you want. And, I'm 75 (don't look it and sat behind a desk half my working life) with no health issues. I eat what want/like, have a shot of Irish each day. The average life expectancy in America currently stands at 77. In 10 or 20 years 10 to 1 they will find this information is bunk.

The only cold cereal I still buy is plain Shredded Wheat, which has lots of fiber but no added sugar or salt. I add fruit to flavor it. Shredded Wheat with fruit is magically delicious! That said, I've cut back on my Shredded Wheat consumption in the last few years because I've found something even better - my homemade overnight oats parfait. The ground flaxseed and chia seeds I add provide Omega 3 fatty acids, an essential nutrient that very few foods have. I sweeten it with fruit or unsweetened apple sauce. I have so many different flavors of my overnight oats parfait - apple cinnamon, raspberry/blueberry, mint chocolate, lemon, eggnog, and fruitcake. Take that, Dairy Queen blizzards and Cheesecake Factory cheesecakes!

Commercial sour dough has tiny holes because they don't give the dough enough time to act, but for most of us non-bakers it will have to do. BTW you can buy bread on sale, and keep in the freezer, and later toast or reheat in the microwave oven.
