A lot of these are really handy and had no idea existed, like swapping the lasso type mid-selection. And while I already knew this one particular shortcut, I'd say that my favorite is renaming layers with tab. It's saved me so much time on many different occasions.
I've been using Photoshop on & off for about 9 years but in real sense probably around 6-7 years from my time in university to recently when I graduated. I've picked up on a number of shortcuts over the years from watching tutorials as well as a design/media firm I worked at & I still found that I learned the most from this video. It's a lot of shortcuts that I'll probably forget & need to refresh myself from time to time but I have this video saved in one of my playlists for future reference. Excellent stuff.
Thank you so much Jésus, great video as always! Learned a lot of new things! My fav that i´m not already using are : Erase with Active Brush, Turning cancel button to reset, swap colors, bird´s eyeview,
Loved the video and effort, my favorites were title key, rotate options and using alt to pick color from other windows
Love it, but i wish those shortcuts would be on the screen while you explain it or at least a little longer than now... 😊 Thank you!
My brain can't handle this in one viewing. That's a good thing. I'll come back to this video any times for more absorption. . Thanks.
I'm glad you found it helpful! Thanks for Watching!
This tutorial was fantastic. Will save for future reference as there is no way for me to absorb that much information in one sitting. Thanks, always enjoy your tutorials for help me increase my knowledge in photoshop.
Thanks for all the tips. How about putting links on your written keyboard shortcuts to your TH-cam videos (where they exist) so beginners or rusty intermediates can quickly brush up on their skills by example?
Thank you sir for such valuable guidance
Jésus! Thank you for your time to make this awesome video. Been using PS for 10 years- and still learning, and hope to never stop! So many awesome tips here! Most helpful was to hold the wavy 'tilde' key to quickly make current brush to eraser- I struggled with that in the tool settings lol... also how to switch selection tools while actively making a selection- the handy ALT key! So awesome! Thank you so much! Love your channel! :) And yes, I too remember the same issue of 'where did the outline of my brush go and what is the plus sign!' Luckily though unlike you- I had TH-cam lol.
I'm glad you found it useful, @kristinawikoff-edstrom1408! Thanks for Watching!
Just started following you and feeling so embarrassed how little i know about photoshop and i have been using it for long years. Your are videos are well presented and explanations are very easy to follow. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

Outstanding! Thanks Jesús, another great tutorial.

I've been praying for a shortcut key to switch between the marquee tools! Shift+M is a game changer!
The Ctrl+shift+D is also a new favourite!
I'm glad you found it useful, @themysteriousunknownrevealed! Thanks for Watching!

Thank you !
Great work sir 👌 Thankyou 👍
Cool! thanks for this video!
Best channel for pro photoshoper
Thank you, rajendrameena150!
Your image luminosity selection is great. I haven't used that one in a long time, but you should have included the separate R, G, and B selections. Same key command but instead of 2 it's 3, 4, and 5 respectively.
You should advise looking at the channels panel while doing this so it makes sense.
2= RGB
3= Red
4= Green
5= Blue
Another absolutely awesome informative video, Again I thought I knew so much and yet, still so much to learn when it comes to do doing it slicker, many thanks to you for this, Jesús!
Thank you, @blue_ranger!
You are the God of Photoshop, Jesus!
With all this tremendous information, now my brain is a little overheated.
Thank you, @diegoeidelman!
Hey Jesus, man thank you so much for all of your vids, all the work you put in for free so that we can learn! God bless you 🙏
I'm curious about the technique you use in no. 15 - do you have any dedicated videos about that?
Long time, mi amigo...! Thanks a lot, super helpful tips!!! 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you, Aprendizzz2009!
Awesome!!! Thank you so much 🙂
You are so welcome!
Great to see you, Jesus!
Good to see you, PJZ!
Thanks you much
Wow! The Cap Locks on the Brush Preview. DROVE ME NUTS! Until NOW! Thanks Jesus!
😂 It gets us all!
This is gold, thanks
You're welcome!
With the clone source resize, you should have included source rotation with
With the layer selection/position within the layers panel, you should have mentioned the use of for all below/above
Great tutorial. Your text goes over the mac commands. It would be great to have both visible
Hola Jesús... gracias por tus videos. Qué pena que tanta calidad y excelencia de tu conocimiento la compartas en su mayoria en inglés. Podrias hacer este tutorial en español por favor? He intentado seguir los trucos.
wow !! thank you !!
Thank you, @paulmoadibe9321!
i think i will watch this video every day for like a month so then i can memorize all the Shortcuts
lol. No need to. Only memorize the ones that would be helpful now. I sometimes forget the ones I haven't used in a while.
@@PhotoshopTrainingChannel haha ok sir keep sharing these informative videos
Super!Thanks!
You're welcome!
Oh man! Aging gets a hold of JR now as we did not watch his videos a while😅 used to be very talent young man😊👌
Thanks
Jésus, is there a keyboard shortcut to exit from the blending mode field? After cycling through blending modes for a layer, I'll often then use a keyboard shortcut to select another tool such as brush, only to find nothing is happening as PS is still stuck in the blending modes. Is there any way to avoid this?
Esc works! Also, Enter/Return.
It is very important to improve myself
22:24 CONTROL+ALT+SHIT and < OR > / COMMAND+OPTION+SHIFT and < OR >: increases or decreases 5x units
thanks
Thanks!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your kindness, Jae!
WOW! Thank you!:)
You're welcome!
I had the same issues with CAPS and the missing cursor. It made hard times for me, almost got crazy. It has effect not only to the brush tool but also the close stamp and that's way more annoying. I don't have a caps lock led on my keyboard so I figured it out by accident...
Wowww really helpful
Thank you, @rashidrasuli4725!
Text shortcuts are saviour....
OMG there are just too many shortcuts...how do you remember them all? There were a lot of good tips in this video!
Thank you! 20 years of experience! lol
Oh...long time!@@PhotoshopTrainingChannel
Thanks so much Jesus!
You're welcome, @cliffordsalmon322!
I am only at 3:17 and already learnt at least two things I didn’t know about.
I'm glad you found it useful, @sebastianreiprich3747! Thanks for Watching!
How can i possibly see this video and not get reminded that i need to like AND share it ? you look , sound and act like an Angel , forget the Godlike tips, I very much like the energy , I still remember you from 10 years ago when i was a teen , didn't expect you to keep being a legend at the highest possible level, what a legend you are Jesus, God bless you
Thank you! That's very kind of you to say. Thanks for watching for so long!
Thanks Jesús...
You're welcome, @arpadhejja734!
Hello Jésus,
As I'm using the english version of photoshop with a German QWERTZ Keyboard Layout . Unfortunately some shortcuts are different or are not working at all (with the german version of photoshop it´s also different):
3. Clone Stamp Sample Scaling & Resetting Clone Source
Scaling down: -
Scaling up: -
Rotating clockwise: Alt Shift >
Rotating counter clockwise: -
7. Erase with Active Brush (✔) Shortcut not working but Alt Shift P = Clear Mode / Alte Shift N = Normal Mode works
36. Activate Layers (✔) via klick and ctrl , shortcuts not working
38. Activate All Layers -
39. Move Layer Up -
40. Move Layer To Top -
41. Activate Masks -
44. Lock Transparent Pixels -
57. Fast Font Size Change -
Are there maybe some build in ones that I couldn´t figure out ? Or how would I set custom ones for these actions?
Hi! I couldn't found a Light room shortcut for aspect Crop, R is the shortcut for crop but there are not shortcut for aspect (1x1,2x3 etc) can somebody help mi with this issue ?
💖
Jesus, que buen contenido ofreces. Aprendí muchas cosas útiles contigo. Te lo escribo en este idioma porque creo que lo entenderás bien seguro.Un saludo y un abrazo.
The 3 dot/banana trick doesn't work for me in the latest version of Photoshop.
02:51 Sir, isn't the key to "export as" will be Alt + Shift + Ctrl + W . I used the key what you told but it didn't work.
And what do we do when we don't have an American QWERTY keyboard.... we don't have Bracket Keys?????
How do you type in English?
You buy a keyboard with brackets.
You Google the equivalent keystroke. 🤷🏼♂️
5:54 does not work. what is the reason?
Thank you for more useful teaching Jesus.
You're welcome!
More in video ads would be good.
one chanel for ads and one for videos is the point
Wait what? you can do that 🤔?
Useful but too fast.
ngl caps lock was very annoying. took it while before i figured it out
