the mirrors were shaking even with the bass not turned up. that car is the stock system dream for a basshead.

Didn’t expect anything less from a Mark Levinson Reference. I agree they really need to overhaul that infotainment system, but an all new LX is coming next year so that’s why it still has that terrible infotainment. That said, I prefer to buy a Lexus that will run forever instead of a Volvo that will break often(the new ones).

Totally agree w you that easy to use infotainment is critical. For me, it must have a touchscreen and CarPlay. I share cars w my 70 yo dad and he’s able to use CarPlay easily.
the latest version (LX600) does have 12.3 inch touchscreen
Does the Bluetooth not sound as good as the AUX or USB/CD? I have only used Bluetooth in my 2016 for convince but is it worth buying and AUX cable and using that instead?

It'd also be nice if there was an actual full spectrum equalizer rather than mid, high and low.

Tough call between this MLV and the AKG in the Escalade as far as sound quality?
Very very comparable, Escalade is probably a hair more impressive. Also much better infotainment obviously

Depending on the Bluetooth codec being used, would bluetooth have been better than AUX?

He actually ranked them a bit ago if you wanted to check out the video. I believe volvo is up there along with acuras system in the TLX, but not the MDX
went from this sound system to the Harmon Kardon in the x7 because of the parts shortage and the Harmon kardon bass is so disporting compared to this. I will say tho the sound system is the only thing I miss about this car but it’s a damn good system

THE NEXT GENERATION OF THE LEXUS LX SHOULD ALREADY BE COMING OUT OF THE OVEN, SO ALL INFO SHOULD BE WELL IMPROVED, AS WELL AS THE AUDIO SYSTEM AS WELL. IT WILL BE MAGNIFICENT!!! 1 000 000 LIKE FOR THIS ANALYSIS !!!

I do think the standard Pioneer is better than levinson. Because the Head unit is made by Pioneer, so the amplifier will be more compatible. If you think this Levinson is good, that's because of the high quality head unit made by Pioneer, and not this Levinson/harman amplifier.

@@aldoantoniovicentesilva6996 Continental GT (18 speakers +2 active bass) and Flying Spur (19 speakers +2 active bass) has 2200W. Bentayga has 1920W and 20 speakers, but is incredible, phenomenal!!!!

There's probably someone who's found a way to get AA and CP on the LX570 - here's an Android HU with wired/wireless AA/CP, installed in a previous generation LX470. "Only" 9 speakers and 350 watts from the factory Mark Levinson sound, however even on Spotify 320kbps still sounds pretty good after 16 years...

I heard this system. It's very normal and mimic. It doesn't even come close to Infiniti Bose system in Q70 2015 model.
