Copper Creek Snow Hut Overnight Snowshoe Adventure & Tour - Ashford, Washington, USA

This is one of four snow huts run by the Mount Tahoma Trails Association (MTTA) just outside Mount Rainier National Park. They maintain a number of snowshoe and cross country ski trails. You will need a Washington Sno Park Pass to visit. These are open to everyone during the day and by reservation at night.
The only way to get to these huts is on foot, which for this one requires about 5.5 miles from the lower lot, with a moderate incline.

March 11, 2023: We clocked 5.5 miles each way to the hut, 1,475 ft elevation gain. With overnight packs and snow shoes the whole way we did up in 2.5 hrs and down in 1.75. We hike weekly. www.wta.org/go-hiking/trip-re...

You should see the amount up by Baker. Near the ski area you can't even see the summer bathrooms most of the winter.
