Sarah is quite clearly getting on with her life in K9 and Company and the Five Doctors - which suits her character. She was strong minded and career driven and didn’t think she was going to marry the Doctor or something. This RTD take on her that she wasted her life moping around waiting for the Doctor and pining for him like a jilted Miss Havisham does her an enormous disservice. And this comes from someone who thinks the character and the actress are massively overrated. The fact that her fans were all over this genuinely puzzles me
Also once we count the war doctor. Half a dozen from 11 is 5 which is when the doctor knows he saw Sarah Jane last. So he regenerated half a dozen times since *he* last her.

I will be perfectly honest. This is my favorite episode of the entire show that I have seen. However you do make some pretty good points that made me laugh quite a bit however I do still love this episode and maybe it does have to do with being a kid as I for one am still technically a kid
Anthony Stewart Head, Played Giles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer (The excellent TV Show not the Meh Movie) where he was Buffy's "Watcher" (Think handler) and was undercover as the schools Librarian for the first three seasons. In addition to Buffy's primary authority figure and male role model, he was essentially a surrogate father figure for her. What I am saying is he is a great actor with some amazing chops. I know he has been in more stuff, but that's primarily where I know him from, and really is the only thing related to vampires I can think of with him attached. He never quite got vamped if I recall though, still he had a shady past, and would sometimes call on his "Ripper" persona (not actually jack the ripper, but rather a nickname from his youth when he was pretty insane) to do some scary stuff, when he felt he needed too. He did get turned into a demon for an episode, but that was more comic relief and he didn't really do anything bad, aside from maybe screw with a "college" he was none to fond of (who was also the seasons "Big Bad" though he was unaware of this at the time). Still I would not be surprised if the man hadever played a monster, or mad scientist in anything else.
1. The “Are you sitting comfortably” clip at the beginning made my day. 2. There was a scene or two of ‘Kenny?’ the kid being bullied by the others and such, but they were cut from the final episode.
The audio does unfortunately increase slightly half way through the video, no idea why but hopefully I won't be using Camtasia for much longer so that kind of nonsense (and delays in production) can be eradicated.

But when the head teacher learns the Doctor is a Timelord he flinches. The bat thing might have jumped the gun thinking it was time to strike, only realising the mistake after he's jumped. I'd rather try to intimidate my enemies with a scary fly off into the moon rather than look like an idiot trying to not be seen after the first screech.
The nitpicks can be so easily dismissed. The wings in the shadow were because of a line IN THE SAME TWO MINUTES AS THE CLIP YOU SHOWED in the pool about how if you “scratch the surface, the real Krillitaine will reveal itself”
You often complain about "continuity errors", but surely an editor would know how exact shot-by-shot continuity actually rarely matters at all - editing is about pace and effect rather than pedantically making sure a chip on a fork in one shot is still there in another. If you notice these tiny things, well done to you but it isn't a sign of bad editing. What matters is the effect of the storytelling and you'd have to be completely focussing on the wrong thing to let these passing moments become problems with the episode. Only if a continuity error was glaringly distracting, or if the editing failed to deliver the action/mood happening in the shots, would it be a problem. Go for an actor's best performance over chips go on forks anytime. The early series of Doctor Who were great for storytelling, unlike like the rampant, clumsy and stitched-together editing we often see in the newer episodes, which can't seem to stay on one shot for more than a second and throw the focus of the characters around all over the place!
I personally loved this episode and the sarah jane adventures. The camp of this episode is just hilarious. And almost a homage to the old adventure serials of the 90s

It did not suck. ES was a companion of my childhood and I really did cheer when I saw her again. Seriously she is a beautiful woman and a great actress. Anthony Head was amazing and I loved the story. The SJ character returning with her own series just made my life. Us older viewers found her return and subsequent series something to be savoured, something that sadly younger views such as yourself will never truly comprehend.

I always figured the one plug thing was just the extension running the main computer (which presumably has the software on it) and the Ethernet switch (which I assumed was distributing the software to all the other computers. That's basically what school networks actually do so that they can use 1 software license). Doesn't explain the sparks mind.
Fun fact: Rats that are used for dissection are kept in a chemical that makes their fur go yellow. Presumably that's why the rats in this episode that were going to (presumably) be eaten were yellow. Just thought I might try and make some part of this episode make a shred of sense.

***** Sorry mate been a long day. I meant Russell T Davies. Given the long history of the show however Moffat is among the best especially considering the show in the 70's and 80's. I just really don't understand why people see our lord amd saviour Russell T Davies as being so above and beyond Moffat. He revitalised the show amd introduced it to new audiences after the show was really dropping in popularity after the fourth season and as Hagan puts it "the long farewell parade of death". Russell honestly seemed to be holding himself back. He had it in his head that doctor how had to be done in a certain way if it was going to succeed and so took fewer risks, and it really shows in some episodes. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Moffat fan boy, although I now realise that's how I might look. I hold both of them on equal ground. I view them as being just as good and shit as eachother although I do agree that the show is in desperate need of someone new at the helm

honestly even a super Moffat fan boy wouldn't fault the doctor for telling Sarah that he's regenerated half a dozen times since they last met. It's established right from the war doctor's introduction that the doctor is ashamed of that incarnation of himself to the point if pretending that it never even happened, so of course he's not going to count him among his regenerations.
Honestly I don't understand why some people seem to hate Moffat. Sure he's had some bad episodes and cringey characters, much like peter Davidson, but the good ones he's done really shine out.
Even some of the best episodes in Davison's run were written by Moffat
Peter Davison was in the 80s, how on Earth could he have written them? My criticisms of moffat come from his role as a producer and not a writer because he IS a good write, but can't run a show for shit.
***** Sorry mate been a long day. I meant Russell T Davies. Given the long history of the show however Moffat is among the best especially considering the show in the 70's and 80's. I just really don't understand why people see our lord amd saviour Russell T Davies as being so above and beyond Moffat. He revitalised the show amd introduced it to new audiences after the show was really dropping in popularity after the fourth season and as Hagan puts it "the long farewell parade of death". Russell honestly seemed to be holding himself back. He had it in his head that doctor how had to be done in a certain way if it was going to succeed and so took fewer risks, and it really shows in some episodes.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Moffat fan boy, although I now realise that's how I might look. I hold both of them on equal ground. I view them as being just as good and shit as eachother although I do agree that the show is in desperate need of someone new at the helm
