Compared to "new who" season1, this was BRILLIANT and amazing. Yes, it was always a bit cheese. It was always low budget. There were always plot holes. But at least it didn't beat you over the head with a tedious sermon.
I remember when I watched this episode when it first came out, I was too young to understand most of it, so when the soldiers got zapped, I remember asking what happened, and my parents responded with “they’re just outing them to sleep” Simpler times
This may sound like an odd opinion, but did anyone else feel like they were setting up Ross to prehaps be a future companion, Like I could see him being a unit officer that realises that to defeat the intergalactic horrors of the universe, Unit cant just open fire and rain lead and nukes on them, And perhaps this would give the doctor a reason to take ross alongside him for a few adventures to show him how guns, despite what ross was told in his Unit training, are bloody pointless against aliens. Dont get me wrong I know he dies, but the chemistry between him and the doctor, The grief the Doctor had on his face when he realised Ross was dead, It just felt like they're could of been some build up for his character, and maybe set him up to either work alongside Martha in some sort of Spin off Show or join the doctor in 2 or 3 episodes

*HAVEN’T SEEN U FOR DAYS*
This was a great episode for smoke machine rental companies.
I cant wait for the next episode because there is a huge mistake that doctor who made at the end because you can clearly see a stage light inside the tardis
PLEASE PLEASE PLEEAASSE do the rest of inside no 9. You did season one a year ago and stopped but it's just aired season 5 and has confirmed the arrival of two more seasons.
Wow Harry!
I haven’t seen you for days!
Exclusively available for patrons 😭
The colours in the Doctor discovering the Martha clone scene is almost reminiscent of that awful Batman and Robin movie starring George Clooney!
12:11 there may not be 'a doctor' out there because there are tons of doctors out there trying to stop the virus :)
The only thing I'm thinking about, after watching this video, is "why was Harry wearing a bath robe?".
Dave hedgehog from bottom plays Staal in this episode
Because of this quarantine....I saw this video 19 minutes after it was uploaded....
Let’s be honest I gotta check out this sponsor
Compared to "new who" season1, this was BRILLIANT and amazing. Yes, it was always a bit cheese. It was always low budget. There were always plot holes. But at least it didn't beat you over the head with a tedious sermon.
Ah I miss Wilf, there is something special about the witty/endearing older father figure archetype.
Ah Sontarans.
Harry, are you ever going to review the Fantastic Beasts films?
I remember when I watched this episode when it first came out, I was too young to understand most of it, so when the soldiers got zapped, I remember asking what happened, and my parents responded with “they’re just outing them to sleep”
Simpler times
This may sound like an odd opinion, but did anyone else feel like they were setting up Ross to prehaps be a future companion,
Like I could see him being a unit officer that realises that to defeat the intergalactic horrors of the universe, Unit cant just open fire and rain lead and nukes on them,
And perhaps this would give the doctor a reason to take ross alongside him for a few adventures to show him how guns, despite what ross was told in his Unit training, are bloody pointless against aliens.
Dont get me wrong I know he dies, but the chemistry between him and the doctor,
The grief the Doctor had on his face when he realised Ross was dead,
It just felt like they're could of been some build up for his character, and maybe set him up to either work alongside Martha in some sort of Spin off Show or join the doctor in 2 or 3 episodes
