    Those delicious foods are BANGLADESHI foods, NOT Indian foods. BANGLADESHI FOODS are far more TASTY than Indian foods. MOVE Forward, Bangladeshi community !

      Bangladeshi food is only lungi and sutki fish .

    No offense to the British, but when I was stationed there all I remembered how bland the food was. UNTIL I went to an Indian restaurant. I think that was my first introduction to Indian food and I loved it just for the fact of all the flavor. Plus the Kabobs. I'm just saying if it wasn't for the immigrants, the food would have just sucked.

      You don't have to be immigrant to add spices to your food. Everyone can make curry, or kebab, if you follow the recipe, so your left liberal multicultural agenda falls flat.

    • @Food4thought1234
      @Food4thought1234 6 ปีที่แล้ว +30

      Where do you think spices came from genius. *Hint* not from England and obviously not from their culture in terms of food.

      International Immigration is not much different than domestic migration. In terms that it fuels the economy. It's known as "Immigration surplus" that in turn rise the GPD. Also they increase the labor market where bottleneck or shortages might otherwise dampen growth. Not to mention a lot of high skilled immigrants are linked to innovation (crude example: like spices). There are also tons of positive influence in society as a whole thanks to immigration. I'm not going to say its all perfect, because nothing is. However, the benefits outweigh the problems. The problem lies in corruption of government and any other form of power. Also, the lack of education from the general public. You're fighting the wrong battle. I understand the fear in people when something happens, but you have to use common sense. Would you export all men in England if there was a huge rape problem? Of coarse not. Anyway, I can't change your mind unless you want it. So good luck :)

    • @cikuuzis
      @cikuuzis 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Japan is doing good economically without immigration since their economy is automated and highly productive and they don't need cheap labor that immigration in theory delivers. Immigration as an answer to aging population and boost for economy is a leftist myth. Look at the Germany - immigration puts an enormous burden to their social system and there is hardly any benefits in terms of economics since the absolute majority of those million refugees (mostly young, poorly educated men) that arrived in last few years lack any professional skills, they just make the crime statistics worse and people are getting more and more aware that leftist ideals of multiculturalism does not work in practice. And then people like you are wondering why people vote for right wingers - it's simply a self defense reaction against the leftist narrative.

    Whoa, never knew London had much diversity
    I thought that was mostly america, or canada
    but it seems they got more of it

    • @mobilephonewatches

      +John Square London is a city not a country like America or Canada. There are a few cities or states with America and Canada which are equally as diverse. But yes London is one of the most diverse places on the planet, this documentary is only focused on Brick Lane which is less than a mile stretch so it doesn't give you a scale of multi culturalism located in other areas. London has high concentration of Black Caribbean, Africans, Pakistanis, Indians and Polish. And a smaller but still high concentration of everything else.

      England had a worldwide colonial empire upon which "the sun never sets." As a result, it's capital becomes a metropole that acts as a magnet for all the former colonies. Some xenophobic Brits hate that--and they decry the presence of "foreigners"--but it is the history of colonialism that now makes possible the presence of a multitude of multi-hued British subjects drawn from across the continents in London.

      I lived both in the US and UK. UK is far more diverse and allows people to preserve their home cultures better. London is particularly a very exciting city, you can find authentic and high quality food from everywhere in the world.

      Its less that and more I don't have as much time or resources so I can only focus on so much. My earlier comment was just something I had assumed London was and pleasantly surprised.

      Tell me about it lol. I grew up in the east end and left the UK 4 years ago for work. I come back most holidays and I always find time to visit brick lane since I grew up 5 min away from it. Everytime I go back, there seem to be more and more hipsters

    I'm a UK/US dual national who used to live near Brick Lane in the early 2000,s. Tubby Isaac's has been out of business for years. Don't bother looking for it. Brick Lane has become an insipid, yuppie tourist trap very similar to Camden Town. I find American bagels to be much superior to the bagels sold on Brick Lane.Even chains like Bruegger's Bagels produce a better product that can be had on Brick Lane. Finally, if you're vegetarian like me and want a curry, skip Brick Lane and visit Drummond Street near Euston Station. Drummond Street is populated with many Indian vegetarian restaurants. The luncheon buffets are especially worth sampling.

      Saleha Considine I guess everyone’s definition of “appropriate” is different. I don’t see anything wrong with her attire, and she’s definitely more clothed than a lot of female reporters I’ve seen on various channels. But I’m from the US, where women freely wear skimpy clothing in public all the time and it is accepted. Everyone has a right to their opinion, though, and yours is as valid as mine. No offense was meant.
