  • This is the Dangers of being a Merchant Marine Sailor ! With Ship Accidents Caught on Camera! This video will show you the importance of being aware of what you are doing as a Sailor & How you can protect yourself from get hurt while out at Sea. Most shipping companies practice safety first but sometimes small mishap take place & people usually get hurt an in worst cases even die. Now I’m not trying to scare anyone from becoming a Salior . I’m just trying to make you aware of some of the dangerous situations you could be in . An how to protect yourself in others if you see something out of the ordinary happening.     Im almost done completing all my docs. And hopefully I’ll start work in a couple months but man thanks for sharing this! This vid is a big eye opener on how safety first is no joke.

      Nice bro!!, just got off a ATB in Tampa ship yard. We were in next to 2 of yalls ships, one was the dove idk about the other one. There were some tugs as well. Dope shit yall are doing out there bro!.. trey makes hella good videos about what's it like out there fs 😎🤠👊

      @@ya3nkurog I heard private is hella good money but if you go union you get the benefits and shit... depends on what company and what union you choose... do your research but always know you're gonna hear the real juice when you get out there. Google

      @@dakotaguthrie14 alright thank you bro, my problem is that I studied 4 years in a Merchant marine academy in Mexico and i sailed for 1 year in a tanker as a deck cadet, now I am a third mate in Mexico, I want to become third mate in the US, I am US citizen, so i want to know the best and fastest way to become 👊🙌🏻

    Famo not everybody die from a tension line. I've seen personally a wire hit a person, a severe unconscious didn't die, went into a coma but didn't die on aircraft carrier. some people just may have broken bones

      Your start the career path the same way you would start if you were going deck there is no difference.. I choose deck because I rather work outside then in

    This is a common sense question but how is the swimming test? I going thru the apprenticeship and I was just wondering if the test had you float or swim ? I’m not a very good swimmer
