    Durban is our most beloved holiday city in South Africa. It is real holiday, friendliest people. Hopefully the municipality returns this city to the cleanest city in SA it used to be. Cape Town has racial issues and they think they are in Europe.

    I was just thinking of contacting Durban Tourism about The Real South Africa because I know that they always welcome the opportunity to showcase the city & everything it has to offer, to the world.
    The other market is called Durban Station. In addition to what is in the Victoria Market, Durban Station is famous for items that are used for Lobola packages, like 3 ply blankets, 3 legged pots & soccer stuff (since its closer to Moses Mabhida Stadium).
    Florida Road,,,,, Yes it's mostly about entertainment & night life. They also have nice factory shops around that area.

This project will give a modern facelift to Durban's CBD. Durban coming up nicely with these new projects crcly, just needs a better city Governers not these Kaundas who are failing the city.

    • @luthovellem865
      @luthovellem865 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lindelwanothandongcobo8863 We actually are lindelwa. Population creates a market for business, the main reason behind economic growth is the presence of a sizable population because it creates a market for traded goods and services. South Africa has all the hallmarks of a great economy except a large population. That is why the countries with the larger populations tend to exhibit both the largest economies and the highest economic growth. If you're a business would you rather sell your goods to 275 million potential customers or 60 million? Most observers overlook it because those who benefit from the under population have no issues with it and most of us don't want to highlight it because of the current inequality challenges that we are struggling with as it is. Otherwise a large population is the pretext for a large economy (economics 101 supply and demand). China 1,5 billion people 19 trillion dollar economy), USA 375 million people 27 trillion dollar economy.

    Just don't go there in winter, lol. It is the dry season and they get temperature inversions that trap all the air pollution in the city, turning it at times into a surreal apocolyptic experience.

    • @TRSA

      I was there last winter didn’t see the apocalypse you are talking about…maybe next year during that apocalypse

    • @Tugela60
      @Tugela60 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @TRSA You probably got lucky. In winter it is normal for a temperature inversions to establish over the city, which traps the air pollutants as a heavy haze. You can see it as an actual layer when you drive down from Pinetown/Westville. Since it doesn't rain in winter (it is the dry season) everything is brown and dead, not green, plus you get this heavy haze that gives the city a post apocolyptic appearance, especially if you drive in from the South Coast along the highway into the city through the industrial areas around Isipingo and Wentworth. That is what you would have seen in the old days when driving in from Louis Botha airport.
      If you are going to go to Durban you need to go in Spring, after the rains have come and everything starts growing again, but before the really hot weather starts in mid to late summer. And I would advise not going to Durban itself, there really is little to see or do there. Plus it can be quite dangerous in many parts of the city if you are not aware as a local would be. It is NOT America.

      @@slimpickens01 it's not about indigenous or stuff like that. Name any other nation that uses clicks in their language outside of the South Africa. The city is hungry for business and we are driving it away with this name. No european company would in invest in a city with a name they cannot say trust me

      Extremely correct, Driving in a high deck bus, you don't get to see all the crooks worrying cars at most robots. Either begging and approaching every car that stops. Fake car guards on most roads, that actually cause more disturbance than anything else. Drive on street level to really see how dangerous is is.
