I'm South African and I'm offended by your presumptuous humor. Yes South Africa is indeed in Africa but its not Africa it's South Africa. I don't think when you were in Ghana you kept referring to it as Africa.

Offended by humor? You sound overly sensitive and like you have a chip on your shoulder when you speak like that and make South Africans seem soft. It's not a good look.

@@AmericanAfrican13 everyone, especially the west, refers to ANY country in Africa as "Africa", which literally strips every other country off its identity. the fact that it's only done to us Africans shows the subtle deroratory nature of it, which i believe stemps from ignorance. if you aren't African then you have no business telling us what to feel, because we experience the repercussions of it, not YOU

And yes, we do have challenges ( as do all countries to be fair), but let's us be part of the solution - the overwhelming majority of South Africans ( any colour) just want to live in harmony and together want to see our Country be a place to raise our children to fulfill their potential, and to be happy and safe. ❤️

My husband and I, our oldest daughter, and her family are planning to move to South Africa. America is too expensive and the quality of life continues to decline. As the wife says for some of us our mental health is challenged because no matter what our education level is, how much we've accomplished, how we live, or what career we have in America we will never be equal and will not be treated with the dignity and respect we should be treated with. This is exactly the kind of place I would give my pinky finger to move my family too. Would I be welcomed here even though I’m a white country boy. After this is over I AM DOING SERIOUS RESEARCH about how hard and what it takes to be able to move to South Africa PERMANENTLY. I’m soooo in on South Africa. As a South African these types of videos really makes me appreciate my country more cause to be honest, most of the time we feel like our government doesn't care about us and that they prioritize foreigners more than us. It gets personal sometimes.
I do understand that most foreigners brings real dollars here hence buying a million rand house is a peace of cake. I'm glad they've found their comfort zone
But we ordinary South Africans will tell you that to get that level of living is extremely difficult unless you into shady businesses or part of the corrupt government.
Fortunately we have our rural areas that we are now developing even though far from towns and cities.

I just got back from visiting the Motherland Cape Town South Africa like 3 weeks ago and it was amazing! I had a great time. People welcoming me back home. The people were polite and humble, the food, water, and drinks were great. The air was better and I feel like I can have a life there...like an actual life. I just get emotional when I think about it... I never wanted to go back....I have to go back, its not fair man. I feel like I left everything that I could be there behind and went back to my normal average life not making that much, not much dating going on, now granted, women are women just like men are men. But over there...I feel like I actually have a future. A part of me had change. I don't think I'm the same as I'm usually am. I want to go back. I wanna see her again. I have to go back. I want to live there. I'm Forever changed.

South Africa looks great, but I'm a very proud Black American. I'm proud of our accomplishments as well in America. Black Americans have given the world inventions like the filament light bulb, 2G technology, the gas mask, traffic light, blood banks, GPS technology, and more. The Black American culture includes Juneteenth, the quilting tradition, jumping the broom, HBCU's, soul food, various dances, inventions, ingenuity, family reunions and AAVE. We created top music genres such as the Blues, Rock & Roll, Gospel, Country, Jazz, R&B, and Hip Hop. Black Americans endured sacrifices, sit-ins, marches, beatings, lynchings and more to elevate America to a higher moral plateau. It was the valiant efforts of Black Americans who fought and died to get the 13, 14 and 15th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution, the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and the Fair Housing Act of 1968. The Black American civil rights movement greatly influenced the passage of the Immigration Act of 1965. The bravery and resilience of Black Americans made America great for all people.

No country in Europe can match it for natural scenery and it's on par with France, Italy, and Spain for quality of cuisine. It's got better weather than all but the sunniest of southern European states and far superior wildlife. That's the good. This is the bad: mass poverty of a kind no one in Europe knows, the worst Gini coefficient on earth (translation: the most unequal nation on earth), and a lot of violent crime. It may be the worst place on earth for women, since it has the highest reported rape rates, and it also has the highest number of HIV patients on earth, thanks in part to the ANC's serial bungling of public health crises.

Almost every African country helped you gain independence from our prayers, making sure you could go into exile in all our countries as our brothers and sisters, giving you education when apartheid wanted to keep you all at the bottom and deny you basic rights and applying pressure on the apartheid government.
Mozambique and Angola literally went to war because of saving you and the Boers were no joke when it came to tracking and hunting you down in each African nation just to prove a point that you were their property.
Many African nations would hide you away while fighting for your freedom including black Americans who made sure that sanctions were imposed on the apartheid government just for your freedom. Today you have forgotten all of that but you will be reminded and you will seek the help of Africans yet again with the way the country is going.
Your own prophet Credo Mutwa told you to unite with Africans before it’s too late in this age of Aquarius.
I hope you spread that message of love so that you can get your land and beautiful country back completely in your name besides welcoming visitors and diversity.

Thank you for sharing. Born and raised in the U.S. I have 2 degrees and a recent certification in Technology, and the ladder of politics that you have to fight to climb just to earn what you have worked hard to earn, and what you are worth is so stressful and tiring. This was refreshing and an eye opener.
