i have ctgp r a few months and i really like it, thx for the tutorial for new players and a bigger community!
When I’m trying to add the channel to my wii menu it keeps freezing. Iv unplugged my wii and retried over 6 times and same thing in the span of 4 days. Any advise of help

Looking to download CTGP here soon, just want to make sure from someone who has it already, is this method safe for your computer and Wii? I assume it is, but I just want to make sure before I download
FOR EVERYONE WHO DOESN"T KNOW WHY IT SAYS "The file you want to download is no longer available." It is because there is TWO CTGP folders. One is in the apps folder the other is on the main page. Put the one in the apps folder in the apps folder and then put the on with the other files at the root of the sd card. That should fix it!

I can't breathe right now...I extracted it onto my 2ds Sd card and it actually worked without any issues, I never thought I'd be able to play CTGP but now I can and I'm so excited 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
its fake 3ds/2ds isnt able to run wii games

I done the same too I used my 2gb SD card from my 3ds because I upgraded my 3ds SD card for homebrew but my next investment is definitely a bigger and card for the Wii

Yesterday I have Mario kart Wii custom tracks Grand Prix. I really love that game. It has 62 cups and 232 tracks.

2:47 There is a randomizer you can use offline and online: just hit + on the course selection screen.
Also there is a new game mode you never mentioned: Item rain! Recommend checking that out!
Here's the thing, I have the MKWII disc, but it is scratched and no longer works. It was accepted during the installation process, but when I try to actually play the mod, it doesn't read the disc anymore. Is there any way around this, or am I gonna have to get a second copy? (I have homebrew, if that makes any difference)

If you need too, you can also use usb drive and plug it into the back, easy as that, (just format it to fat32 first)

Hey everyone, just so you all know, that isn’t my MAC address, infact I just borrowed that clip from Mr.Bean35000vr’s video, so I didn’t have to show my own. Its from his own unused console. Also the most you can do with that MAC address is just impersonate the CTGP-R account on the unused console. Hope that clears stuff up! Thx.

Don't you need to have all the Homebrew stuff on that SD card too? I'm trying to put all the needed CTGP files on there, but my 2GB SD card is not large enough. I read dat I can't use a SDHC card for Homebrew. Or am I mistaken?

Does Ctgp give you the rii evolution folder from the beginning or do you have to get rii evolution by installing it
So I have a question. I was able to download CTGP and I wanna download homebrew. I know how to do it and I put it on my SD card but each time I start the letter bomb, it goes back into CTGP and doesn't let me download homebrew. How do I fix that?
With the no homebrew method do you need to launch CTGP-R through the bomb folder from the message board every time or just once to set it up

I use a portable hard drive but I found the ctgpr folder in my SD card too. I want to change things in My Stuff folder but I cannot see it in the SD card, and I have to "update" my hard drive to use the files. What shall I do? If i update the hard drive, everything in it will be lost...

You've probably resolved the issue by now, but for others who are still having trouble, this means that you are missing one of the files that you need OR that is in the wrong place. I would rewatch the video and make sure every files is in the correct places.

HELP I use the homebrew method and when I open ctgp through homebrew it just goes black and I can no longer turn the wii off without unpluging it.has anyone had this problem if so how can i fix it.
I had the same error, so what I noticed while looking over my files in the SD card was that there were 2 boot.elf files. The first one came from the Homebrew Launcher download files and the 2nd came from the CTGP-R files. After installing the Homebrew Channel on your Wii, you won't need the files anymore as all you will need would be the apps folder. So deleting the Homebrew files should solve your problem.

@@FireW0lf yo try doing the non homebrew method, (the one using letter bomb) and for me it showed up on homebrew anyways. If that doesn't work, try an sd card instead of an sdhd. If you don't have an sd card you'll need a new one because I tried it on my old sdhd card and it didn't work so I bought a new one and it did.
@@alanholysz2665 I actually decided to delete CTGP off my SD card and then I installed it again (still with the homebrew method) and it worked perfectly. Thanks for the help though!
Everything worked perfectly and I can play ctgp-r now but I do have one problem. I am unable to install the ctgp-r channel onto the Wii home menu because when I try the channel will glitch out and become unresponsive, sometimes distorting the screen. I've tried unplugging and trying again but it still hasn't worked. Any tips to fix this problem?
Edit: in case this matters, I am on Wii version 4.3U and I am using ctgp-r through homebrew

I found the letter bomb in my wii mail but when I click on it, it says that cgtpr can’t be loaded and that a pack may be corrupted. Do you know how to fix this? Never mind I got it to work when I redid it!!!

Hi, I’ve done all the steps for the home brew method but when I have the sd card in nothing comes up. How long do you have to wait for it to come up and do you have any trouble shooting ideas
you probably forgot to put the channel into your apps folder, like remove the ctgpr file from the apps folder it's currently in and move it to the apps folder on your sd card

Does this overwrite Vanilla Mario kart wii? like if I install this Can I not play regular MK Wii? I know that there is a seperate channel but does it overwrite the base game?
It doesn't, if you open the disc channel it will appear your regular Mario kart Wii. But if you open the ctgp channel it will appear the ctgp mod. Your regular progress in your vanilla game will remain the same

I am curently on a burned mkwii disc and the letterbomb does not arrive, but i can get a official mkwii disc would the letterbomb then arrive? Or did i do something wrong?

My Homebrew channel already has a boot.elf on my SD card, how do I put the cgtp one on my SD card too?
I tried to install the mod on my console so I didn’t have to when my friend comes over to my house next week with the game. Is there a possibility that that may have damaged something? I tested my Wii afterwards and nothing from what I have seen has happened?

I’m really having trouble installing Mario Kart CTGP on my homebrew. Even I though I have an 2GB SD Card, Format it to Fat32, Put the Correct Files, and have the disc. However, every time I insert the SD and press load on the homebrew, it just won’t read and it says that the SD card doesn’t have Mario Kart CTGP even though it’s already in there.
You have to extract the CTGP Zip folder onto your Sd Card.

Hi, I downloaded CTGP-R Revolution on via Homebrew, the problem is that I used a pendrive and I don't have an SD Card, I opened "CTGP-R Channel" and it says "Please insert an SD card" but until when I don't put in an SD card I can't do anything, so I can't turn off the Wii, what should I do?
