sir i got dog bite on 15 june. i took arv in priavte hospital and he gave ne 2 dose on 15,18 june on gluteal region. can i restart my arv or shall i continue with 3 dose on deltoid region. ( I took immunoglobulin on 15- half on wound and half on gluteal region) i got typhoid and i am getting needling sensation, and bit pain in trachea, and got bit tightness on left jaw. please reply me sir!
as far as ARV is concerned, please initiate it from scratch (Please have it in deltoid region).
Regarding your symptoms, only history is not sufficient. Clinical examination is also required.

Sir please tell me one thing while giving rabies vaccine….The person gave me vaccine from fridge n the place where they were giving injection was 3-4 min away so I have to take the vaccine without any ice box ,,,just voil….so the voil was exposed to 3-4 minutes of sunlight does that mean the vaccine given to my baby was ineffective and damaged…and all 5 vaccines was given in same manner….3 months back .

if you have got category three bite, then you require HRIG, but take it before the second dose of ARV

1.dose - 0.1ml on both shoulders
2. yes air bubble can enter the circulation if not given properly
3. for death almost 80 ML of air bubble is required. In your case you are completely safe….

Sir ,,my child has taken 5 doses of Rabipur 3 months back and re exposure 10days back 2 booster doses.,,,now today again re exposed as I saw a bat flying near the open window n I can’t see any bite marks on my child body but a bug bite swollen red like mosquitoe bite reaction today ….should I again given him booster as he already received 10 days back n here doctors think m actually crazy getting my child boosters just in doubt ??what should I do ? there is nothing to worry about in your case. moreover, indian bats usually don’t carry rabies virus….

So sir there is no chance that the dog can remain symptomless chronically and spread rabies ? The only time it can spread this is few days before it starts to show symptoms amd dies soon. This is why the 10 day observation period. It would be great if you make a separate video explaining all of this to the viewers to clear all doubts .

HRIG is required only in category 3 bites.
you can still go for HRIG before taking second dose of ARV if required…

since your doctor has given you himself, please have faith in him. he wont do anything bad....
Please avoid extra doses.
however, extra doses are not going to harm him adversely but it's better to avoid extra doses as excess of anything can be dangerous

since HRIG is infiltrated locally so avoid washing the wound for few hours …..

yes bleb formation is important after intradermal injection. bleb shows that the vaccine is placed correctly at dermal site.
bleb disappears in few minutes only. sometimes it may not be noticeable.
it’s the duty of healthcare professional to decide whether it’s placed correctly or not. since your healthcare professional didn’t react over this matter so please 🙏🏻 don’t overthink……and just have faith in your healthcare professional

ARV dosage should be taken on time and as per schedule.
However, you continue your remaining doses as per schedule, there is nothing to worry about till the symptoms develop.
HRIG is not required in your case presently…

Hello sir, Mera question ye he ki Mujhe Dt:17-3-24 ko dog bite hua he. ( Left Leg me ) catagory-2 bala. Mai same day ARV start kardiya. Lekin abhi mujhe thoda thoda pain feel ho raha he same leg me . Isme kuch problem create ho sakta he kya. Mujhe bahat daar lag raha he kripaya batayiyega.....😭. Aur kuch precautions lena he to bhi boliye

I took 4 or 5 IM DOSE OF ARV VACCINE FROM 24 APRIL 2023,
NOT SURE ABOUT THE LAST DOSE TAKEN OR NOT.
SIR IN JULY PET DOG BITE I TOOK ONLY 2 BOOSTER DOSE .
IN AUGUST THAT PET DOG AGAIN SCRATCH ME I TOOK 0,3,7 ,14,28 day dose ..but in between these doses day 20 i had a re-exposer FORM A STRAY DOG and sir day 14 and 28 day pe vaccine dene wala thik se adminstration nahi kar paya IM DOSE BECAUSE HE IS LEARNING ..SO I THOUGHT TO TAKE 1 EXTRA DOSE TODAY BUT AGAIN the experienced staff not available there and that new guy again done some issues ...sir kya kare full course kisi achhe jaga se kar bhi nahi sakte ulta antibody kam ho jaye toh bohot parisan ho gya sir help me
Kya apse consult available ho payega sir in this situation u can guide me as u r experienced in this medical field

usually cattles don't spread rabies. however, cases are in record where rabies is seen to be spread through cattles.
better to consult the local infectious disease physician who is treating or managing such cases.
