Thanks for the comparison. Just finished my first bottle of Nutricost Creapure and almost ordered the non-Creapure version, not realizing they sold two types. When you opened the bottles, I immediately noticed the difference in volume so I wasn't too surprised by the scoop size difference. That really is a big deal! The makers of Creapure do hype up how pure their product is and you really have to take sport nutrition marketing with a grain of salt. Any doubt or suspicion I may have had is gone now that I've seen what 5g of Creapure looks like vs 5g of some unknown source of creatine. I'm sticking with Creapure from now on! It's a shame you didn't use the scoop that came with the second bottle, since clearly you would need to mix of more product to get 5g of creatine. Generally speaking, creatine doesn't mix well so it didn't make too much of a difference in the end. Thanks again!

The larger scoop is because the regular creatine is fluffier. I've had both these creatines and I got the same results with both.

The fact that they had to make a second one that has no bad stuff in it proves that the regular creatine has some bad stuff in it, otherwise why have two versions of what seems to be the same thing? It sound like you’re risking your life if you don’t buy the creapure one.
There are like 8 types of creatine...
The micronized is powdery and clumpy because it’s..... “micronized” 🤣
I do stick with “creapure” creatine for that German over China peace of mind though.

Chmelaeon indeed there’s a difference.... the micronized does do a much better job dissolving in water and I do find it to be a little easier on the stomach for that “bloat” feeling that creatine can cause if you choose to consume for “loading.”
Other than that though, Creapure is much more worth it to me 🤙

the difference in scope size is because this is micronized not regular monohidrate so if you could notice the size of the inner matter of the micronized is way mor than the monohidrate because actually the particles are far less so the weight is also less !
I may be wrong, but my first impression anytime I read “made with Creapure” that it’s not 100% Creapure It’s a mix of their cheaper creatine with a percentage of creapure in it. I don’t think I’m gonna buy this again.

Nice thorough review thanks for that seemed honnest. Should have tried the big scoop for the normal creatine tho to see what it actually looked like when you get the "5g dose" with all the filler that comes with it! But thanks man definitively gonna get the creapure from now on!
im ordering the creapure. I shit you not that Nutricost is the most cost-effective brand you can get, even with whey protein. I tried a whole bag of bulk supplements creatine monohydrate and i really cant tell if i like it or not. I feel like I felt little to nothing, especially when comparing it to creatine HCL by caged muscle.
there is a video telling about 4 labs certification that you should look for on any legit supplement brand the first certified to look for is NSF... second one is USP.... third one is Cl consumer lab...... and the last one is Ul, unfortunately nutricost does not have any of those
and I say unfortunately because in the past years I have bought many of their products I been probably wasting money
I got a 9cc scoop with my tub so I weighed a normal scoop 3 times and it came out to 4.7, 4.9 and 5. So its pretty close

thats crazy, I usually buy rsp nutrition micronized creatine and the last batch I had was in the powder form and when I received the new batch it came out crystal/salt like powder and the scoop looked different. any thoughts on it?

Chmelaeon Yes, so it’s not German creatine? Ive been taking creatine since January, and I’ve tried both Creapure and micronized creatine monohydrate. I can’t tell the difference at all. So far I’ve tried MuscleTech, Optimum Nutrition Creapure, and MetRx creatine. I just never thought about this CreaPure versus Creatine Monohydrate topic until a guy brought it up at the gym

Their home brand which is tested according to European laws for heavy metals and impurities is 99,9% pure but they have micronized creapure which is 99,95% pure. For 0.5% difference it's not really worth to pay nearly double here. It's on offer right now though and maybe worth trying.
