- the DJI Action 5 Pro is out and as the GoPro 13 have nothing new to offer is time to say good bay to GoPro but is the new Osmo good enough?

Very nice video as usual, liked how the new camera is doing the job.
The only thing that I would personally suggest is to reduce the monitors brightness and increase the contrast a bit when shooting for daylight footage like this, you can see how harsh highlights and blooming is there especially at the moment when you hit the sky car infront of you, you can't see the Decals details clearly on it. The camera setting seems on point and perfect.
Consider lowering the ISO at night time, will also automatically reduce your noise and harsh lights

Highlights a blown way too much and I think I have to reduce indeed the monitors brightness few clicks and play with the ISO.
That was max ISO 800 which even with the mist filter was i guess too much.

did you record in D-Log? if not try it because the maxiumum dynamic range is always possible with LOG. In my opinion the Sky shouldnt burn out that strong.. so maybe increase the cockpit ambient light or reduce monitor brightness.

Have you considered flipping the camera upside down to get it even closer to your eyes for a more true pov?
I must do that with some kind of helmet!

I have a DJI Pocket 3, and it's an amazing little camera! I record in D log m, and apply my lut in the editing software for the perfect color grade. Looks amazing by the way!
I have to try D log and too and play with the luts I have around indeed 😃
Still using the 540mm center monitor distance?
Your FOV looks perfect, I'm using the recomended FOV for my real distance 700mm, But I don't like that much.

It looks good, but in the end, your the expert as to whether your happy with the results or not, RBM. The most important thing from the viewer perspective, is it's stabilization so as not to feel whoosy while watching. And that seems quite impressive - given you could probably tweak it even better over time as you get more used to it's particular quirks. [;]-)
Sometimes feels off but will try to find what it is.

Interesting video. I just also beside changing my channel name from Finsimracer to SimuSAmi :) bought finally new action camera, GoPro Hero 13 with Elgato 4k MKII Pro capture card. I have been now setting camera, trying to find setting for lights (2 x Elgato video lights) and video settings.

I bought action 4 recently because of you 😂. The issue I don't have space of the right side of my cockpit so I couldn't arrange the passanger side. And also I use automatic setting and use some lumetri setting to darkeb the cockpit due to the lack of cockpit elements. I would like to hear your setting to arrange the camera settings and light of the room
I will play with the settings in the next week as I’m not really happy with those and will make update brother 🤛

Got my p1000s yesterday! Cant wait to use them tonight. So hype. You are one of the reaspns i got them. I only got the dual set due to never using the clutch and the way I race competatively its also never used in the titles I play like acc. I got the haptic motors also. I may get the hydarulics soon. I do want to do inverted due to my rigs angle with the pedals it would help but i loved the faces of the pedals it helped and it made a bigger difference then I expected. But yeah I love love that i have some travel on the brake. The progression is going to help so much with my trail braking. Im a big big trsil braker. I love hugging corners while doing long trail braking. Brake hard at firdt start letting off early and ride that trail brake through. Lovely
Awesome racing man, sry im just hype and wanted to let you know. Because I know how big of a p1000 advocate you are. Especially now with the updated electronics.
Its funny because the new sets. That ball on the back of the brake is now in the style of the one you get to use with the hydraulic so now you dont even need to replace that. Anybody who gets a set with that ball will know its the recent updated set with the nee electronics.
Also thank you so much for that settings video for the simagic ultimate. I never used inirtia and wow i had no clue what i wws missing out on. I now turn it up like you. It helps me find that limit so much better. I actjally feel like i can pull the car deeper into a corner as if it catches now when before it wouldnt catch and push back. Its such an amazing active feeling. Inirtia is the one game changing setting I never used. I also use a little friction now even if not needed and slight dampening. Found it goed lighter and i feel it more when im losing grip that way. Now it truely feels like im driving with tires. As if im in a real car it feels like im driving a car and feels just like when tires rub.

Have played LMU? WHAT IS YOUR FOV. I know the usual Sims your at 52. But LMU is a different animal. Lmao.
Nice video brother ❤ the only complaint I have about the DJI action cameras is that their image is often over sharpened, which makes edges look too harsh.
There’s currently no way to fix this either from within the camera, which is a mistake on their part.
I was waiting to see if I should get this DJI Action 5 or the new GoPro 13, I think I’ll get the GoPro 13 :(

I turned the sharpness completely down and doesn’t look too sharp but still, I’m not very happy with the image at all and must play with the settings 🤔
I have the Insta pro too and for now in my case I like the most the GoPro but will see if I can fix that with the DJI
@@chepilevski yeah cos you have the most filter as well it helps to smooth it abit which is good. I’ve seen others use it in general without any extra equipment and it looks sooo sharp lol
The steering wheel is awesome, is it custom made by yourself or you bought it?
I have been using the DJI Action 4 for about three months to record POV videos and am still working on both the monitor and camera settings. It's always a work in progress, but I am seeing improvements, thankfully. Hopefully, you find optimal settings for yours soon! Rig looks great!

How did you manage to use the camera? Did u use the app from DJI and then via WiFi to OBS?
With my DJI Osmo Action 4 i can’t get it to work :-(
No buddy, this is not life but just record the race and then edit the videos premier pro! Only the sound is captured with OBS 🤛

Your GoPro onboards look better than this. Unless you still need to do some tweaking. I actually went and looked at one of your latest videos with some POV footage. And this doesn't do it for me. 😉

Hey, I don't know what happened here, but this looks more like VR on a weak card. Something is clearly set up wrong, the colors are pale, maybe bad weather? The camera angle is also too narrow compared to previous videos. Maybe you should use different filters here, ND filters also give a film effect. Maybe you need to wait for a software update from DJI? In my opinion, it looks worse than before. Best regards.

Weird... I have action 4 ...it's better than 5 pro... (my opinions) ...and yes if you can write me in private for setting and other stuff...I put my honeycomb right up my head and monitor 100brightness and hue light right and left and middle.. but my footage with iso 400 and Sutter speed 120 is dark!!
How it looks at 800 iso?
That here is 800 and looks like there is zero noice!
I’m not happy at all with the image but will start testing in the next few days to find the best possible settings 🤛

@chepilevski I have a question...when you race (without camera) you change the brightness and other thing to **normal** ...I mean 100% brightness is not beautifull in acc
