    • @WaltsTV

      not really because its a different technology and more importantly thats two individually amplified products so you cant connect them in the first place.

    This sounds amazing and is priced reasonably. I’ve been thinking about going with this or the Sonos Arc. Any thoughts? Appreciate the great review!

      well the arc is probably "better" but not by much and its quite a bit more money. If your on the edge I think you pull the trigger on this, mainly because its something new and its shaking up the home audio market as we speak. Not to mention how sleek it looks and feels.

    Nice review, just realized today that Klipsch has a new soundbar coming up and not even that expensive.
    Unfortunately the 8k passthrough mentioned in the video is a bit misleading because it only has an eARC port. Passthrough would require at least one HDMI 2.1 In which not many soundbars have ( Sony does). On some TVs this soundbar will block a 2.1 port.

    • @WaltsTV

      thanks for the feedback! and this is what I read "Both models have HDMI for access to eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel and 8K video"

      Thanks! Probably not because we just did the HT-A5000. Honestly If you havent bought it yet I would give this a try as it is very similar if not better! So if i understand this correctly, the sound bar is 3.1.2 on its own but combined with the sub and surround it will become 5.1.2 or 5.1.4.

    • @WaltsTV

      5.1.2 because the rears only have forward facing, not atmos heights. But none of the less it is a really impressive system.

      You should be able to easily, as long as you're okay with it being wired. The soundbar has an RCA sub out port that you could easily connect to other powered Klipsch subs. Finally, it looks as though a 12 in wireless Flexus sub will be coming in the future

    Great review, but I have to admit I’m a bit disappointed with Klipsch this go around. It’s a decently priced soundbar and they don’t include a subwoofer. I’ve owned the Icon SB-1, I currently have the Bar48 and Cinema 600 with the wireless sub and a R-120SW, all have come with a wireless sub with the option to expand with a wired sub. Now, not only are you buying the soundbar but you will no doubt need to buy a subwoofer and if you want more bass buy another subwoofer. Now your price range just went above what a reasonably Klipsch soundbar system used to cost.

    • @WaltsTV
      @WaltsTV  9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thanks! And yes I get that purchasing it separate can seem like its not as valuable but if the soundbar came with the subwoofer it would retail for $799. Which if you compare the sound to something like the sonos arc that is the same price but doesn't come with a subwoofer, this is much better of a deal.
      Also this soundbar has wireless rear and sub compatibility, I think that it is also better in terms of quality then their older cinema bars. not to mention I like the look more.

      @@WaltsTV there are times when package deals are cheaper. I’ve had my 600 now for a couple of years and love it. I purchased the extra sub from Klipsch when they had one of their crazy 64% off deals so I got it next to nothing.
      I get there are other brands out there at much higher prices with no subwoofer as well, like ELAC, Sennheiser and Bose. I’m just sayin, Klipsch could have made it an option to buy with a sub at a certain price point. I’m a huge fan of Klipsch so I will have to see if the Flexus will win me over.
      I love the appearance of the Bar and Cinema soundbars, with the exposed horn tweeters, looks different than the average soundbar. But nonetheless, like I said. Great review, I always watch tons of vids before I ever make a purchase, appreciate the info. Good stuff.
