got this soundbar recently i was shocked to hear how loud it was for how tiny it is the wall mounts were simple and easy to install love the system my only complaint is when changeing audio formats u well have a moment in the begining whare media wont play you have to restart the soundbar after changeing audio codecs then it works perfectly 10/10 would reccomend for a small game room or dorm the bass can be turned down to the point of being able to stay in a apartment on the third floor with no noise complaits or issues
Do the smaller speakers need their own power source??
@@MrStevo626 dont buy this they gave me 2 defective systems tryed saying the seccond one was a third one and sent it back to my house no fixes done to this they even said so in a email just a horrible brand if u can get a working system its not bad however i def ate my words saying this you can try your luck and no they plug into the subwoofer however the sub dose need power if u can id reccomend getting a extension cord i have one running under my couch to behind me for the rears its not bad my issue is my surround speakers clip slightly into eachother causeing while a cool effect a effect that ruins any games or anythang that u need to know this is behind to the left this is behind to the right if u have a big enough space and can put these far away from you its not bad however truely look elts whare if u want to do with a better brand 0/10 would reccomend

a very sad update DO NOT BUY THIS SOUNDBAR OR ANY SOUNDBAR FROM THIS BRAND first off they gave me 3 different defective systems i sent back 2 of theme besides the 1 i paid for already then they sent me a refund and have now ignored me for months i ended up upgradeing to a vizio soundbar as point 2 it has no direct mode this soundbar well constantly enhance or compress sounds with thare equlizers thare is no direct mode or way to have the soundbar not edit the audio and this is due to point 3 even the posiden d60 (the one i got) says it comes with atmos thats a lie these all come with dolby digital plus a lossy codec hints why the soundbar has to enhance the shit audio aswell and my final point i had constant issues with audio crackling stuttering and just horrible audio quality out of the rears aswell the rears refected off eachother which was the defective part of my system if somethang happen in the left surround u faintly heard it in the right surround causes mixes to get fucked when listening on this soundbar GO ELTS WHARE IF U DONT WANT A BAD HEADACHE aswell they no longer give updated to the first modles of these soundbars so if u buy one seccond hand or u get old stock u could get a soundbar you cant fucking update

I bought POISEDEN D50 & returned and kinga gave negative review & ULTIMEA/DyNic contacted me suggesting PD60, i was that a software update is available via wifi i believe, that adds 13 xtra surround sound options instead of limited amount straight out of box & 7 bass options instead of the 3. Im about to connect mine now, curious on what others thought so checking out reviews, i got a deal, new for $145, D50 was ok but back speakers were very quit unless i played music, this is for a room about 15ft by 20ft, very informative review & i thought id share that there is a new version of software available that owners may want to get by contacting CS, there email explained update in great detail, im not tech savy at all but i do know theres more ability to treak the sounds/bass to your liking. 😊

I'm considering building a DIY True Atmos Surround Soundbar with a subwoofer. Is it worth the effort, and do you think you'd build one?
Have you ever seen 'DOLBY ATMOS' on the screen of the soundbar being shown? I have it hooked up on my eARC and never seen this when watching a Dolby Atmos movie. I've only seen 'DOLBY SURROUND ' being displayed.
Sub and surrounds look very similar to Vizio. Thank you for the review, most helpful to make purchase decisions.

Using RCA is exactly how vizio does their rear surrounds. Speaking of any idea how this would compare to say the vizio 5.1 m series?

I just got this soundbar but noticed it cuts out every 30 odd seconds for a millisecond. What’s the best solution to sort this out? Should I perform a hard reset..

I just got this yesterday, I complained about that , they told me they added more bass & rear speakers software update via wi-fi , im going to hook up today & contact them again to find out how to get that software update for more options as they told me via email, I didn't talk personally to anyone, something you may want to check w/support
Read my comment, it's last one on thread, customer support said there's an update, I believe available through wifi, similar to phone/game console updates w/more options to tweak the sound, unfortunately there email made it sound like you have to contact them & request it, not sure why they didn't just do the update to ALL? IDK if it would be expensive for company to update everyone but I explained situation lil more in my comment

Pour être franc j'ai du rendre ma box free devialet à cause d'un changement de fournisseur internet
Mais j'étais entièrement satisfait de la box devialet, un son puissant avec des basses incroyable pour un modèle si compact
Je me suis donc mis à la recherche d'un produit discret similaire, en écoutant les youtubers qui teste ces produits jeme suis orienté vers le Poseidon D60 !!! Je l'ai reçu tout content, je l'ai installé configuration caisson au canapé et satellite à l'arrière !!
Et la DÉCEPTION !!!! Le centrale un son mais comme un haut parleur dans un tube de sopalin !! Le volume à 12 et vous aviez déjà des bruit parasites de vibration du plastique franchement ridicule !!
Ensuite le caisson j'avais déjà un doute de part sa taille, mais ça c'est confirmé basses inexistantes sans parler des satellites qui sont tout autant imperceptibles !!
Je vais vous dire ces essais bidons sur des films qui en plus impossible de les retranscrire par les micros qu'ils ont !!
Mais l'écoute la plus courante de ces ensembles c'est comme ça pour moi mais aussi pour vous, c'est de les écouter sur les chaînes de TV standards !! C'est la dessus qu'il faut tester le son !! Puisque c'est ce que vous aurez dans les oreilles tout les jours !!
Donc si se teste est négatif !! Sur des chaînes TV imaginez le sur le reste !! Et la puissance n'est rien sans la metrise (la réf...)
Bref ensemble conseillé pour des personnes qui n'ont aucune demande d'écoute particulière qui leur principal demande c'est que ça gueule ! Avec des basses équivalente à la phonk brésilienne ! Donc une grosse saturation
Pourquoi mentir pendant la présentation du produit puisqu'une fois reçu on peu le retourner au vendeur parce qu'on est déçu !! POURQUOI nous faire perdre notre temps avec des mensonges !!
Jai acheté une free box devialet d'occasion et pour 100e c'est le meilleur home cinéma que vous puissiez trouver !!

This seems like a fantastic idea. I would like to see something a little bit beefier/bigger for a moderately higher price point. Something that would be between this and the nakamichi dragon.
I agree. I’d love to see some dedicated Dolby Atmos modules. I’d like it just a little bit longer as well. But I know that makes it harder for some people for placement

I was wondering though, do you think it would be possible to change the rear speakers for some slightly better quality Dolby Atmos speakers that also have upward drivers, this is something I was thinking about doing but don’t want to break anything..

@@Toid hi mate the system has turned up, it’s very nice looking and sounds ok, bass is definitely not the best but I have not done the update yet, I can’t seem to get the Dolby atmos working via the earc on my Dolby atmos TV and the rear speakers are extremely quiet but I’ll have a play around with it more tomorrow and see what I can do..

Do you see the Dolby Atmos setting in your TV? Your TV looks older than mine (2020) and my TV has no Dolby Atmos option in the menu. What setting did you make on your TV?
Well your TV has to have Atmos support or U can't use atmos.....mine has it in the audio settings.

So the rear satellite speakers receive power over the RCA connection?
Basically the speakers need an amplifier. The amplifier needs the power. So they built the amplifier into the Subwoofer, so now all they need to do is send a signal cable (RCA). It was a really smart way to do it.
I was wondering the same thing. Normally RCAs carry low level signal but these appear to get the High level output from the RCAs
So they aren’t preamp outputs.. they are just speaker wires using an rca cable. That could get confusing

I hate to be the old curmudgeon, but RCA was the way that many speakers, from the 60's up to the 80's used to be connected. Usually, they were from stereo sets where the speakers were included. Heck, I just bought the last set of combo RCA/screw terminal speaker.plates from a lone Radio Shack on the way home from vacation.
But, when you think about it, it's rather smart. Using the RCAs keeps people from trying to connect different impedance speakers, which might overload the amp, necessitating a possible warranty repair.. Really, it's a bit of longevity insurance.

There’s usually a setting inside your television to turn arc on. So you’re going to want to check your settings on your TV probably in the sound settings to turn that on.
Lol you know what was it🫣???? When i selected e-ARC On ive to turn my tv OFF, and On. I have a samsung q60c weird but its working now 🤗

Exactly! Not one reviewer will mention this. It doesn't have Atmos, just Dolby surround which even cheap crap has. It can't be trusted, get a second hand Sony or something

Anybody tried these with a gaming PC? Interested in 5.1/atmos but don’t want cables running along my floor for the rears.
Technically it would work just fine. I don’t personally use it that way, but it could be done
So atmos doesn’t seem to work. I plug the supplied hdmi cable into my nvdia gpu but the soundbar doesn’t show up on nvdia settings. Also doesn’t appear if it’s plugged into the mb. I wonder if it’s due to the soundbar’s e-arc input. 5.1 seems to work with optical but that obviously won’t output atmos. Advice before i return it?

Looks like a rebadged unit made by Vizio!!!😂 The Vizio unit I have has DTS-X and Dolby Atmos.
So it turns out this thing is just simulating surround sound... its not actually handling a 5.1 sound signal....it'll seperate out what it thinks should be in the rears, but if you watch a film or play a game with actual surround, which make full use of front center and rear speakers, these won't work as such...they'll just continue to approximate the "surround" using Atmos...lame

Dolby is strict about the licensing for use of its technologies and trademarks. Unless you were suggesting this is fraudulent, the fact that you were thinking maybe this would be THX or Pro Logic or something instead of ATMOS really makes me question anything else you say.
This is not ATMOS, not TRUE or EVEN FAKE ATMOS, this is just dolby digital.
Even if it's not a real one, they have been certified by Dolby as Dolby atmos, otherwise they wouldn't be allowed to use the logo.

I bought this to replace my TV sound in a small bedroom office and the sound is very good especially when tried with Dolby Vision movies, of course I know it wont be true Atmos but it has good surround sound and a nice size.

this is an awesome Soundbar for its price I had it but I returned it went a q990c. small bedroom it works great as a 5.1 and give you a taste what Atmos is about
