Born, raised and live in Chattanooga. You guys make me ashamed of how far behind I am in visiting all the new places, especially restaurants, that I have missed over the years. Complacency is not good. Thank you for waking me up to my own backyard. Looking forward to your international travel videos. Be safe and have fun.
We love love love your town! The people were so kind, the food was delicious too! You’ve shown us some new places to visit we cannot wait to return! Chris the drone shots were amazing! Great video guys! ~Cara 😊
So glad I found you all (in 2020 during lockdown!) I live in Chattanooga (highland park). I hadn’t heard that Aretha’s reopened and am so looking forward to checking out Monty now as well as that cute book store. Thanks for sharing all this with us!
My grandparents grew up in the Highland Park (or right by it)...I can't remember what street it was...just know it's really close to the National Cemetary. I live near Hamilton Place Mall and Regal Cinema. I work at the Publix on McCutcheon Rd.
Ah! So many new things to try when we’re back! Especially excited for Hello Monty- I spent a summer working at Rob’s precious restaurant, Blue Plate. 🙃
Aretha Frankenstein’s is one of my favorite places!!! Whenever people visit for the first time, I automatically take them there. The shrimp and grits is 10/10
Hi Chris and Sara! I too live in Chattanooga, been calling it home since 2011! These videos are so helpful for even locals like me because it's just me and my husband too and we love supporting our town's new eats and shops when possible. Thanks so much for sharing! Ps. We are also camper van people! Ours is a VW Westfalia!! (Still being renovated!)love seeing your adventures in yours! PSS. Any other great recommendations for a restaurant with yummy desserts or a birthday dinner in Chattanooga? We may check Hello Monty out! Thanks so much!
i wanted to move to Chattanooga for the past year but this just convinced me to make the move. I hope to be down there in the next 7 months! Thank you so much for all of the information!!!
Awesome once again guys!! I could really see like the travel channel giving you guys a show. It's too notch and on that level quality on your own. You guys are the only channel that I watch every video.
Best Chattanooga city tour ever. Great way to start our Sunday. We'll need days to see all this. That community work/hotel looks amazing. 😃 thx for shout-out, you guys are great foodies and everything looks yummy. FYI: finally got our ecoflow max pro (love the EV port:) and installing solar, so hope to see you sooner than later. Best Wishes and Blessings, James and Kim ❤️
Loved this video! I live close by and will definitely try some of these places. I don't think it's ever tacky to get a takeout box. When you think about how much work goes into that food from growing it, transporting it, preparing it, and getting it to your table then it would be a sin to just throw it away!
I love your videos guys! I'm a small business owner in Chattanooga as well! I run Escape Mission Chattanooga in the North Shore area by the Chattanooga Theatre Center, so if you ever want to do an escape room, let me know :)
Love your video as always! Such great pace on every featured business (especially some air time on those unique doors) and of course the drone shot of the walnut street bridge.
Excited for this resource! My husband is from Signal Mountain. We are in South Carolina right now but we plan to move back to the Chattanooga area in a few years! 💜
Good lord!!! those aren't pancakes, those are CAKES!!! WOW!! Your restaurant review(s) are great. The food looked delicious and your supper choice of places looked amazing, definitely a place I'd like to check out someday. It is very interesting to me to see your city through your eyes, not the typical tourist tour but a hidden gems tour. Thank you and until next time... Travel Safe.
Thanks for your videos. I saw this one and because of you as a local Children’s book author , I reached out to book and cover and they are going to be carrying my book. Thanks I love watching your videos
Do you ever get to Chicamauga? I spent four weeks there working on the movie, Farmer and the Belle: Saving Santaland. I drove to Chat to buy items for set design . I remember street names like Gun Barrel Road :))). Loved this and loved the song you played!!!
Had the opportunity to visit Chattanooga between Christmas and New Year’s and had the best time. You live in a beautiful and awesome city. Stumbled upon your article in the local tourism magazine. Congrats on that!
Got excited about the Hello Monty naan, though didn't see that (with sausage) on their current menu. Was it special ordered? Perhaps we'll check them out.
Hey Tommy! It was the special of the day when we were there, but they said they were adding it to the regular menu soon. Hopefully it will be on there soon! 🤞🏻
I saw y’all driving the other day, and I got so excited. 😂 The “Y” was known as the Pink Y back in the 70s-80s, my church used to meet there. And thank you for telling us about Hello Monty, my friends and I will have to try to out. Hope to see y’all around again!
I just have to say that I love how y'all play Ben Rector's music in almost all of your videos. He is one of my favorites! I also love y'all's editing. It is just amazing.
My experiences in Chatt are abnormal. I see it through my elderly parents eyes which means I know where the cemeteries and churches are. I didn’t grow up here but have been here for 10+ years and rarely get to see any sites. Part of me wants to flee when the time comes but I know I’ll see it differently one day. It IS beautiful and the weather is much more pleasant than the NE. So, thank you for highlighting the best of the scenic city!
Okay since I don't live in Chattanooga but I do live like 5 or 10 minutes away my sister lives and works around that area so thanks for showing me around
I live 45 miles south of chattanooga and I used to spend a lot of time there. I gave up on it after several incidences with parking difficulty. I even once received a parking ticket in the mail for a vehicle I didn't own issued on a day I was at work. I think the breaking point for me was when I was trying to find a parking space for Lupi's one afternoon. The city was doing away with parking spaces to make room for some bike lanes. Not because there's a demand for more bike lanes but because the city wants people to ride bikes. This video reminded me a lot of what I loved about Chattanooga. Perhaps I should give it a try again. I do always enjoy your videos..
I’m living here and it’s pretty nice I just spent most of my time in over the border of Georgia bc a lot of my family lives there but overall I have gone to the center and it’s really nice

@@chrisandsara It was everything you said it would be and more. The brussels sprouts... Both versions... To die for. And the half chicken was perfection. Service was a little spotty, but it wasn't any big deal. I'd recommend it to anybody.
