@@svstem6992 Aslo the body style is hit or miss for many. Would you buy a regular one? I like the body but its not my favorite, I would possibly consider a V8 version but it would have to be at a very good price for me to get one. V10 SMG is a costly venture just for regular maintenance, then consider the very low numbers made which makes for hard to get factory parts after 2 decades and keep getting lower in number. Parts cars are hard to get. Engine parts will be expensive if you need original heads of blocks. They will get more and more expensive to repair as time goes on.
Great vid! I have a 650 convertible, same year, great car! On another channel the oil filter cracked and lost all the oil, it's made of plastic! Suggest you change it. Happy motoring!!
Beautiful color combination and a very good description of all the specs of the car. I have the small brother, the E64 645ci. Happy with the engine sound when the roof is down, and when the roof is up I put down the rear window to heard it too. 😀
I bought an '09 M6 Convertible with 57,000 miles on it. Has cost me a bit (valve actuators, battery, alternator) to get it healthy, but it is so much fun. Enjoy!
It's the perception of being unreliable that makes these so cheap. And the perception of high maintenance cost. I guess someone that thinks a $300 oil change is "expensive" might think these are expensive to maintain, but an 8300rpm V10 that can go 140,000 miles, is an engineering marvel worth so much more money. In my opinion, these cars are going to start going up in value pretty soon. And judging by all the videos of people driving them at 6000rpm and above, I would say they are more along the lines of reliable. It's funny to hear a car reviewer regurgitate the "they're unreliable" narrative, as they do 8000rpm pull after pull, and cruise at 5000- 6000rpm. That's where lesser engines self destruct, this engine purrs. Amazing car!
I appreciate your comment! Each time I drive this car I love it more and more. Even in stock it sounds amazing and puts a smile on my face when I push it. Can't wait until summer, to enjoy that S85 with the top down.
Have the same car with different finish-trim. I have owned since new. 66k fabulous touring miles. They get a bad rap, but my experience has been very good given that it is an exotic car. The sound and feel are like no other. Enjoy that grin every time you start and drive. P.S. Pay extra for the Michelin Pilot Sports. They were stock and yield the perfect handling.
It's hard to tell, I drive it only on the weekends or when it's not raining. In my first year of ownership, I did an oil change, spark plugs, and coils. But my total car maintenance bill per month is decent because I have four cars.
It makes no sense that these cars are so cheap. They are amazing cars, still. That color, is perfect!
They are nice cars, but they are fairly priced considering the poor reliability and cost of preventative maintenance.

@@svstem6992would you buy one under 50k miles ? is it worth it?
Driving this is probably the most memorable car experience I have. This V10 with the top down is ❤️👌
One year later and I still love it! So far no problems with the S85. Just regular stuff like spark plugs/coils.

That bottom left window button should allow you to roll down ALL windows with one press by the way.
Nice car! Congrats! I just bought mine too, E64 M6 2010. I have it in the shop now replacing rod bearings with ACL bearings
Congratulations to you too!
I was also considering an LCI model, but could not find one close to my area.
How much to replace those rod bearings and ACL?
Nice example of a rare Sepang Bronze E64 M6, and nice review!
Thank you!
This car is amazing, it's never gotten old.

Dream spec!
I can't believe how mint is the condition of the car. Unbelievable
Beautiful
I have the same car and the best upgrade was an alcantara steering wheel cover (sewn on by owner)...it is absolutely FANTASTIC
10w-50. Best way to the RBs lubed.
Future classic in drophead form …
Recently got e93 335i with 43k miles white on white for 10k bone stock. N54 is crazy cheap for easy FBO mods
beautiful car man! i thought all m6's came with a bit of carbon in the interior
Thank you!
I am not sure 100% on the interior specs. As of right now, my wood trim has grown on me. I like it. Classy:)
