I was watching you make this build and I was happy to watch because my friend is a hunter and he did not belive me when I said bad juju 2ould be good due to the kinetic mod but now you've given me some more ideas
So i just wanted to come back and comment on this build. As a 53yo casual destiny 2 player I'm always on the lookout for good builds. I had most of the items for this build so i put it together but used Sunshot for my main weapon. I took it to Sorrow's harbor to try it out and get the feel for the play loop. After doing massive one shot damage (for me) I decided to use it to finish the Parting the Veil mission which had been giving my Titan troubles. I went down and cleared ads and when the room started to close forcing you to the center platform my super recharged. I took the shot and it finished him off before the "curtain" could come down forcing me to the middle. IT WAS GLORIOUS! You are right the hand cannon is fantastic, and it frees up an exotic slot. Paired with Monte Carlo I'm almost always with an ability to throw. Thanks for sharing this build!

I don't have the skill they do but they sometimes drag me through a GM, or a raid to get certain exotics, good fun. They are wanting me to play Helldiver's next, i'm afraid I may turn into gunny on an OP look.

This was the first exotic I ever wanted to build around when I started playing back in Season of Plunder. I don't even wanna use the ornaments, either, that's how cool it looks.
I actually like the BXR with enhanced demo and enhanced incandescent with this. The pulse buffs feel good and it’s super accurate from the hip and from distance.
just getting into destiny after an extended break, and this build video is absolutely perfect, easy to understand and straight to the point, along with free energy slots for personal customization!
Wondering how this’ll fare compared to my current Celestial build using Mercy, Searing, Empyrean, Torches & Ashes with Eremite and Dragons Breath for DPS or Sunshot for general gameplay. Edit: I'd love to see a Titan build next, one that fulfils the roll of DPS that isn't a Strand Titan. So maybe a Cuirass Titan :D
@@rudymilliez I use it because the ad clear is great and with my fragments I can keep up Resto x1 and Radiant up 24/7. You’ll still get energy on Headshots, just not the Explosion final blows.
1 early hint - mercy is really bad because of the current restoration bug that will reset you to 2s of restoration on firesprite pickup even if you already have a higher duration. i have a different method for staying healthy that youll see in the vid :D

I know it's a weird one, but I'd love to see you have a go at a Mechaneer's Tricksleeves build after the changes, especially now that we have more special ammo sidearms to work with.
If I can get the dungeon exotic to drop I plan on running it on Strand with that exotic and mykels. Devour and weaken on strand sounds too excellent to pass up.
I love unique builds but Bungie did us dirty with sidearm anti barriers. I personally think trick sleeves is hot garbage. You need to be in close range, need to critically wounded and constantly swapping back and forth takes away the ability to just spam fire and kill more consistent. Just my opinion. I love you out of the box unique thinking though!
With the new Wish-Keeper bow now in the game, I feel like a foetracer build would be top tier with it, pairing suspend and sever with the damage buff from the helmet
Big fan of the videos. Decided recently to start some building of my own and your videos seem to help me better understand the mechanics. I'm hoping next video will be focused on ATHRYS'S EMBRACE on the hunter. I remember falling in love with it for end game but can't seem to find my way to love it again
I think what I like most of all about this build showcase, is the weapon choice! Lucky 10 p did this same build video at the start of this season, with a few pros and cons. But for the most part his Celestial build was amazing! His weapon choice did not synergize with his build, his fragment choices however were ground breaking! And I still use them now on my goldie hunter! He did mention Zaouli's Bane being a good alternative option but after trying different weapons, 2 solar weapons I had came out to be my top 2 choices for my goldie build. First being BXR Battler with enhanced Demo/Incandescent. To help my healing grenade regen even faster while still being able to scorch/ignite targets. My 2nd find was Epochal Integration.
@hotbox76 Nah, Wicked Implement is really good, only for GMs however. It's able to stun both Overload and Unstop champs, and if you hit all your shots, chain stun barrier. If you don't have Wish Ender or are using a Stasis Build like Turretlock, it's one of the best picks.
@hotbox76 I'm a hunter stasis main, I've completed lake of shadows on GM 73 times so far this week. 9 of those runs were flawless. There is a lot of mastery to it but it's still good despite not being meta. (If you want my bungie name to check NF report as proof, let me know) Renewal grasps, Lament, forbearance and adept hung jury with Kenetic Tremors. Melee slow stuns overload. Freeze then shatter stuns unstoppable and freeze barriers with grenade, go inside "death bubble" with champion, they can't open shot you and you can take their barrier our with lament. If anyone wants the build, lmk :)
feel like the suspend the bow adds could be the missing link for making it more of an end game build - but I agree that the video doesn't spec into it much @@talhajahan4444
It'd be pretty interesting to see a build around any forgotten exotic weapons that might've fallen to the wayside over time, i.e devil's ruin, symmetry, final warning or one of my faves to occasionally bust out, traveller's chosen
If you play Warlock check out his "strand commander" video from a few days ago - it makes use of traveler's chosen and apotheosis veil, imo two underused exotics!
Looks great, love the creative use of gunpowder gamble here. Think the handcannon choice is pretty perfect for general accessibility but have found for this kind of scorch build, tyranny of heaven is a great legendary option with its firefly and incandescent roll, with my personal favourite being an adept pre-astyanax with it’s adept perks and an incand roll. Another less common but great survivability pick is an incand/heal clip sidearm that works well with this season’s barrier mods. Would love to see a build exploring a bit more strand hunter options with something like frost-33z
Seeing a skating build on paper that can be used in general gameplay as well would be awesome. So, Stompees/Starfire builds with a smol explaination of skating, maybe? Definately learned something new about gambling lol, Thank you for all your videos! Much appreciated ❤
Just as an FYI - goldie shot does benefit from kinetic surge x2 (not 3 for some reason), as well as radiant. So, for max damage, a.) Have at least 1 armor charge, b.) Pop super and immediately throw your knife at the target, c.) Fire goldie and profit. (For this season only, scoring a knife hit first also provides a 5 second 15% boss debuff, from the artifact mod, which I forget the name of. You can also throw in a shot from a chill clip Riptide, at the very beginning of the aforementioned steps above, for an additional 5% damage buff, increasing your damage even further).
Now that Bombardiers actually applies slow stacks. I would love to see a bombo build using them! I'm curious to see how they could perform with the new stasis buffs!! Ooooo! that or Wormgod! With it's new rework I'm curious as to how much damage you could pump out!
Ember of Char is slept on. Especially on Gunpowder. 40+60 scorch off your Gamble is crazy and combos really well. Especially with Kindling Trigger on the artifact. Near constant ignitions. I've been getting the most mileage out of it with Polaris.

Been waiting for this exotic to be meta for a LONG time. Easily one of the drippiest exotic helmets for Hunters. I use it with a Dragonfly/Incandescent Tyranny of Heaven for maximum explosions. It'd be really interesting to see a build for Gemini Jesters in the next video. Thinking solar or arc hunter dodge loops and then constantly blinding the enemy with the dodge kind of thing.
I've been using epochal since the beginning and i've been surprised that nobody had mentioned how good it is... until now. I didn't know that GG was coded as kinetic. Good stuff right there.

You should do an aeon swift void hunter build. It's much better in endgame content than normal stuff. I've been working on one and so far have this: Deadfall, jump of choice, snare bomb, vortex grenade, vanishing step, and trapper's ambush. Echo of Persistence, Echo of cessation, echo of starvation, and echo of obscurity. Use sect of insight on the gauntlets to generate ammo for teammates. Then you can have your teammates focus fire on eiltes or bosses before you go invis and finish them. This will spawn ammo for your team at a low risk due to the invisibility. You can also throw on a finisher mod like proximity ward or special ammo finisher for more bonuses. Finally if you pair this with two cenotaphs in gms, you can have infinite ammo for everyone. There's probably a way to make this build better, but it's pretty fun and powerful.
I've been doing something similar to this with Polaris Lance. You basically never reload and constantly toss out the perfect 5th to massively scorch and ignite a ton of stuff. I run a kinetic shotgun and an autoloading solar rocket launcher for extra damage. To bosses, but the constant ignitions do great damage against anything with a weak spot. I'd love to see something with Speedloader Slacks. It seems like it should be fun, but I've never taken the time to figure out a support hunter build.
This build is sick! I used my friends DIM to make it for her and she's loving it. I also used it a bit on my hunter... But I'm no hunter main. So my suggestion is for you to make a video on the ugliest Titan exotic ever. Eternal Warrior!

Thank you for this build Mactics. One thing that players who use this build should know is that Gunpowder Gamble will turn your healing grenade into a normal grenade which can kill you.
So that's how it's done! Didn't realise Goldie shots go through as Kinetic damage. Will give this a try tonight, though I'm going to try Traveller's Chosen in the kinetic slot with the Osmosis catalyst. Can you make a PvE showcase on Warlock and Astrocyte verse? I've paired with a Repulsor Brace glaive for purple explosions, overshield uptime, melee life regen and some quite hectic gameplay, Devour's in the mix, but not figured out the rest of the kit yet.
As someone who plays, buy doesn't do much in the way of endgame activities (being a dad takes a lot of my time), and only dabbles with seasonal activities, I love these informational build videos you've done. I personally enjoyed your Lucky Pants vid from after Lightfall so much, that I used it, and I love it! I plan on trying this one out. As to what should be next, may I suggest potentially Nezerac's Sin as the next Exotic??
Epic build man, completely obliterating add swarms with two shots and one shotting Tormentors brings an emotion I just can't put to words! I'm kinda new to Destiny, haven't finished Lightfall yet so I don't have the weapon your using, but Sunshot is effing amazing with this build as well. Liked, subbed and many thanks!!
Ok NGL this is really good enough to main in all PVE content. I have been maining void in hard content since before covid, and after trying many builds over the years... this competes.
Got a feeling this build work well together with ophidia spathe with its x2 knives 🔪 if you can land them consistently & or crits you don’t even need a gun your knives are spamming everything dead.
Remember, gunpowder gamble is coded as a grenade, ws such it activates all grenade mods and weapon perks, this includes ashes to assets, firepower, any conduct grenade conduction mod, and weapon perks like demolitionist. And it's cool down is only 7 seconds, and 2 ability kills will get it back instantly, the best grenade.
a cold snap build with osmiomancys and the new exotic bow, using the new artefact mods you can have the strand verbs with your stasis subclass combining the darkness subclasses. alternatively quicksilver would also work well with this idea with the catalyst.
I think a build with wish keeper using verity's vow on strand warlock, building into the weavers trance playstyle for pretty much infinite suspend could be really good. Really hope I can get one of those emblems!
So, this is extremely close to this build, but for the longest time I ran ophidian spathe instead of assassins cowl. The max ignition it can obtain on hunters with scorch spreading from the fanning knives is super aggressive for ad clear and boss dps. This works better with the dragons breath rocket just added, the blade barrage super, and incandescent weapons for restoration and radiation up time. This is extremely similar to this build, but accomplishes it in less damage, but better sustainability overall for activities like the coil.
just for fun, id like to see a build that potentially uses the Speedloader Slacks. The hunter exotic boots that i honestly forgot even existed until i got them yesterday from a random engram
Oh hey, this is the build I've been using, and Epoch is such an underrated handcannon I'm glad to see it get some props. I've used it almost non-stop during this season.
This is sick. I don't have the said gun YET, don't have the artifact, dont have half of the mods due to lack of res for the armor. I used a 1600 stasis handgun and still got 650k on a hit.
I went all in on the kinetic weapon surge and used bad juju to get really fast supers and good damage from both. I do lose emperyan and reprocing restoration but the damage has been worth it so far.
Remember you can cancel out the stick of dynamite cooldown if you throw it immediately (less than a second) once you get all six stacks Doing so you can get more stacks off the dynamite kills too for infinite loop
Next video would be great to see what exotic you would pair with a Stasis build. I'm still rocking the Renewal Grasps since their recent buff (or un-nerf) has made them feel good again.
I would say that Zaouli's Bane is a better in slot hand cannon, but this is a good secondary fill hand cannon for if you don't have it. I use the explosive payload incandescent crafted, otherwise yes solid build this season
Would love to see an updated strand titan build. Whether that be Synthoceps vs Wormgod Carress or some sort of new suspend build (with maybe the new exotic bow)! Keep up the great videos
I would love to see a Skull of Dire Ahamkara build, see if an OG Destiny Obsidian Mind back to back to back Nova Bomb build could be replicated. Maybe a time for Bad Juju to shine? It was my go-to in the abyss section of Crota’s End raid, who needs self-revive when literally all enemies are instantly obliterated?
Ah man, soooo happy CNH is back baby! It’s the reason I switched to hunters after D1. Otherwise, would love to see a new strand Wish-Keeper/FoeTracer(or other strand complimentary exotic) build! I want to like strand but it just feels so meh compared to everything else for me.

Don't use sunshot. It doesn't work with celestial's precision kills for super regen

Mercy is bugged. Don't use it. It will reset your resto timer to 2 seconds ever time you pick up a firesprite, no matter what the timer was before.

Cyrtarachne builds don’t really build into suspend so the bow won’t help
But the bow is really good for making a dedicated suspend-hunter build.
Tbh, I used it in GMs on a void hunter last night. My enemies could not get away from us. Suspend traps and tether, no running. Hilarious too

Tbh in gm's I would never rock a sidearm. You would always have to get up close and in a lot of GM's that's not the best bet 😅
i know it’s nowhere near meta right now, but a solid Boots of The Assembler + Lumina support warlock build has been my dream for a minute!!!

Now that Bombardiers actually applies slow stacks. I would love to see a bombo build using them! I'm curious to see how they could perform with the new stasis buffs!! Ooooo! that or Wormgod! With it's new rework I'm curious as to how much damage you could pump out!
Ember of Char is slept on. Especially on Gunpowder. 40+60 scorch off your Gamble is crazy and combos really well. Especially with Kindling Trigger on the artifact. Near constant ignitions. I've been getting the most mileage out of it with Polaris.

Been waiting for this exotic to be meta for a LONG time. Easily one of the drippiest exotic helmets for Hunters. I use it with a Dragonfly/Incandescent Tyranny of Heaven for maximum explosions. It'd be really interesting to see a build for Gemini Jesters in the next video. Thinking solar or arc hunter dodge loops and then constantly blinding the enemy with the dodge kind of thing.
A new build with abyant leaps and the new suspend bow wishkeeper would be really cool

You should do an aeon swift void hunter build. It's much better in endgame content than normal stuff. I've been working on one and so far have this:
Deadfall, jump of choice, snare bomb, vortex grenade, vanishing step, and trapper's ambush.
Echo of Persistence, Echo of cessation, echo of starvation, and echo of obscurity.
Use sect of insight on the gauntlets to generate ammo for teammates. Then you can have your teammates focus fire on eiltes or bosses before you go invis and finish them. This will spawn ammo for your team at a low risk due to the invisibility. You can also throw on a finisher mod like proximity ward or special ammo finisher for more bonuses. Finally if you pair this with two cenotaphs in gms, you can have infinite ammo for everyone. There's probably a way to make this build better, but it's pretty fun and powerful.

I've been doing something similar to this with Polaris Lance. You basically never reload and constantly toss out the perfect 5th to massively scorch and ignite a ton of stuff. I run a kinetic shotgun and an autoloading solar rocket launcher for extra damage. To bosses, but the constant ignitions do great damage against anything with a weak spot.
I'd love to see something with Speedloader Slacks. It seems like it should be fun, but I've never taken the time to figure out a support hunter build.
This build is sick! I used my friends DIM to make it for her and she's loving it. I also used it a bit on my hunter... But I'm no hunter main. So my suggestion is for you to make a video on the ugliest Titan exotic ever. Eternal Warrior!

Thank you for this build Mactics. One thing that players who use this build should know is that Gunpowder Gamble will turn your healing grenade into a normal grenade which can kill you.
So that's how it's done! Didn't realise Goldie shots go through as Kinetic damage. Will give this a try tonight, though I'm going to try Traveller's Chosen in the kinetic slot with the Osmosis catalyst.
Can you make a PvE showcase on Warlock and Astrocyte verse? I've paired with a Repulsor Brace glaive for purple explosions, overshield uptime, melee life regen and some quite hectic gameplay, Devour's in the mix, but not figured out the rest of the kit yet.
As someone who plays, buy doesn't do much in the way of endgame activities (being a dad takes a lot of my time), and only dabbles with seasonal activities, I love these informational build videos you've done. I personally enjoyed your Lucky Pants vid from after Lightfall so much, that I used it, and I love it! I plan on trying this one out.
As to what should be next, may I suggest potentially Nezerac's Sin as the next Exotic??
What I really like about this build compared to other youtubers is that it dosent require HOURS of grinding for one weapon.
Epic build man, completely obliterating add swarms with two shots and one shotting Tormentors brings an emotion I just can't put to words! Ok NGL this is really good enough to main in all PVE content. I have been maining void in hard content since before covid, and after trying many builds over the years... this competes.
Got a feeling this build work well together with ophidia spathe with its x2 knives 🔪 if you can land them consistently & or crits you don’t even need a gun your knives are spamming everything dead.
Remember, gunpowder gamble is coded as a grenade, ws such it activates all grenade mods and weapon perks, this includes ashes to assets, firepower, any conduct grenade conduction mod, and weapon perks like demolitionist. And it's cool down is only 7 seconds, and 2 ability kills will get it back instantly, the best grenade.
a cold snap build with osmiomancys and the new exotic bow, using the new artefact mods you can have the strand verbs with your stasis subclass combining the darkness subclasses. alternatively quicksilver would also work well with this idea with the catalyst.
I'd love to see a build around Hoarfrost. I think with the changes to Stasis it's slept on. I've been doing massive damage as my stasis titan.

I think a build with wish keeper using verity's vow on strand warlock, building into the weavers trance playstyle for pretty much infinite suspend could be really good. Really hope I can get one of those emblems!

So, this is extremely close to this build, but for the longest time I ran ophidian spathe instead of assassins cowl. The max ignition it can obtain on hunters with scorch spreading from the fanning knives is super aggressive for ad clear and boss dps. This works better with the dragons breath rocket just added, the blade barrage super, and incandescent weapons for restoration and radiation up time. This is extremely similar to this build, but accomplishes it in less damage, but better sustainability overall for activities like the coil.
This is some of the most fun I've had playing solar hunter in a long time! Awesome build Mac!

Trust is another good handcannon with incandescent and can be focused in Gambit.
Oh hey, this is the build I've been using, and Epoch is such an underrated handcannon I'm glad to see it get some props. I've used it almost non-stop during this season.

This is sick. I don't have the said gun YET, don't have the artifact, dont have half of the mods due to lack of res for the armor. I used a 1600 stasis handgun and still got 650k on a hit.
I went all in on the kinetic weapon surge and used bad juju to get really fast supers and good damage from both. I do lose emperyan and reprocing restoration but the damage has been worth it so far.
Remember you can cancel out the stick of dynamite cooldown if you throw it immediately (less than a second) once you get all six stacks
Doing so you can get more stacks off the dynamite kills too for infinite loop

Next video would be great to see what exotic you would pair with a Stasis build. I'm still rocking the Renewal Grasps since their recent buff (or un-nerf) has made them feel good again.

I would say that Zaouli's Bane is a better in slot hand cannon, but this is a good secondary fill hand cannon for if you don't have it. I use the explosive payload incandescent crafted, otherwise yes solid build this season

Ah man, soooo happy CNH is back baby! It’s the reason I switched to hunters after D1. Otherwise, would love to see a new strand Wish-Keeper/FoeTracer(or other strand complimentary exotic) build! I want to like strand but it just feels so meh compared to everything else for me.
