@@shogunnermedia4011i’m not sure what to recommend as a replacement, however mac has been doing wicked implement carries on stream every day! maybe you’ll get a carry if you stop by! :)
Finally someone recognized the true strength of Wicked Implement this season. It's literally stasis flavored Polaris Lance and I refuse to believe otherwise.
I hate it's per-bullet damage though. Still feels super weak for a primary. I think that it's good the build enhances it to this point, but it should stand alone better, as an exotic. It being a scout is the only reason this isn't the case. 20% buff and this thing is as desirable as Quicksilver.
When you used Palmyra-B on the Shrieker at 15:10 you not only had the 25% bakris buff and the 25% stasis surge for the activity, you also had impact casing (2.5%), boss spec (7.77%), EXPLOSIVE LIGHT (25%), AND... Hakke breach (30% to turrets - and shriekers DO count). So 1.25*1.25*1.025*1.077*1.25*1.3=2.80 (a 180% dmg increase). Argent ordinance artifact mod would have also buffed it another 15% (multiplicatively). Your impact dmg did 27,372 and your explosive did 87,731. This is 30% more than the damage you did on the Ultra Taken Centurion at the beginning, since he isn't classified as a turret.
@@bacon38 weapon and energy overcharges do not stack sadly. Say if solar and shotguns are the overcharges, if I run a solar shotgun then I'll only get a 25% buff, not 50%. But if you run a kinetic shotgun, you'll still obviously get the 25% for shotguns. It's handy for when you have a spare slot to run a special and your weapon of choice doesn't match/have the element.
Also, prodigal return is an arc grenade launcher with disorienting grenades, it doesn’t get auto loading but with envious assassin it can technically auto reload and get up to 4 in the mag
@@lorcanmcquitty1766 Nope no armor mods, I don't believe armor mods affect ANY weapon perks I just keep killing with other weapons and OCCASIONALLY I see it with 4 in the mag, not all the time though
@@amUusTV Normally it will only fill to 3, but the trick is that it will overfill to 4 any time the current magazine is an even number. For example, it starts with 1, you kill with another weapon until it's at 3, fire off one shot from the GL, now it's at 2, go back to the weapon you use to overfill it, and it should now overfill to 4, given you have enough enemies to kill. The perk will continue working until you reach a certain overfill percentage. This will also work if you only killed enough to get it to 2 in the mag in the first place, swapped to a different weapon, and then swapped back to kill things again, but it's a little harder to stop at 2 than just overfill to 3 and fire one shot off. You can also do this with heavy GLs like Koraxis' Distress and Cataphract, the cut-off for the perk working seems to be around 12, or 14, and I presume any other weapon with Envious Assassin. Another good example is Cold Comfort, normally it overfills to 3, but if you can overfill starting from 2 in the mag you can get 5 rockets in a row alongside the Restoration Ritual origin perk.
Mactics I’m not gonna lie, when you started first posting on TH-cam I was like this dude ain’t gonna last. After watching you for several years at this point you’ve got to be one of the best contact creators and information sharing creators in the game. Period. Thank you!
Bakris is extremely underrated! You can also use weapons like Trespasser, the new Special Ammo Sidearm from Warlords Ruin & the world drop Rocket Launcher from this season? Reconstruction x Explosive Light & a Bakris Light Shift it puts in serious work!! You can also do a similar Shatterdive set up with Renewal Grasps. Smack your snowglobe in doorways, spawn points & then use Wicked Implement or a Headstone Weapon to delete whatever spawns. Sometimes bigger enemies will break the big crystal but if it survives? Shatterdive for the clean up!
I think Wicked Implement works best with Cadamus Lance Ridgecap on Titans. Rapid precision hits slow combatants, and create Diamond Lances while behind a barricade. Shattering targets or stasis crystals generates shards, way easier than on Hunters.
Hi buddy actually I was and still using almost the same build but I will recommend to swap two fragments to take it to the next level to survive . Use : conduction, shards, chains , rime , fissures this combination will give you the advantage to destroy and also to stay alive and almost always having an over shield . For mods your faulted use two impact inductions and one momentum transfer . Leg invigoration , recuperation , innevation . Weapon I m using the new pulse legendary disparity with heating up , frenzy , hake breach armaments as Kentic , energy arc grenade launcher with demolitions and attrition orbs . For power to take advantage of damage boost from barkis helmet use thunderlord since the exists boosts both statis and atc .
I mean tbh most people don’t use stasis and see it for ad clear. Even stasis guns. It’s just like the weak ice to solar fire. Especially with incandescent existing. Having to shoot the crystal vs just the enemy is more (not harder) so it’s not used as much
@@kingmarcus014 shattering a stasis crystal is much more efficient for add clear than incandescent alone tho, it’s a bit of extra work for better results
I have another stasis build, for titan. Cadmus ridge lancecap Aspects - tectonic harvest (at least until maybe one day we get build in shards for the class then howl of the storm), diamond lance Fragments - fissures, rending, shards, conduction (or refraction), rime (could do chains) Weapons - wicked implement, polaris, really any easy precision hit weapon. And this season a strand weapon is fun for unravel on top of all the stasis explosions and crystals you make
I've wanted to do a titan flavored build of this for a while. Left the game during season of opulence, and a friend got me back in early least season. Fell in love with the stasis subclass upon my return, and Icefall mantle was one of my first "new" exotics. Used it for a while paired with Ager's Scepter (and that damage *is* pretty nice) but I've been wanting to turn into a turret with Wicked Implement.
I have a very unique build idea mactics! Welcome to the Stand Daner Your exotic-Radiant dance machines Subclass-strand Class ability-Gamblers dodge Jump-Triple Jump Grenade-Grapple grenade Aspects-widows silk and whirling maelstrom Fragments-warding, propagation, generation, and continuity Exotic weapon of choice-i prefer quicksilver storm but navigator can work for endgame woven mail Energy wepaon-any weapon you feel fits your activity Heavy weapon- I suggest any strand weapon such as marcato with onslaught but it doesn't matter as long as it is stand Mods: Helmet mods-harmonic siphon, hands on,heavy ammo finder Arm mods-impact induction, heavy handed, focussing strike Chest mods-your choice of resist mods Leg mods-better already, recuperation, orbs of restoration Cloak mods-reaper, proximity ward, bomber Gameplay loop: You want to start engagements dodging by your enemy then repeatedly throwing your melee in between dodges and throwing/shooting tangles when you can, this will cause you to have woven mail, severe, and unraveling at a constant up time Have fun with this build mactics I hope you enjoy it!
@@theneedlessmage6826I’m in the same boat, I just don’t have a group I’m comfortable with to try and get Wicked. Probably just gonna turn to LFG and hope for the best
Love the will it build videos, my only request would be that dim links were added. Yes, I can go through the video and put it together but dim links are so nice 😂
I have a build idea! High champion dps with void invisibility safety. Exotic armor piece: Lucky pants Exotic weapon: Malfeasance Energy weapon: Harsh language w/ envious and destabilizing rounds for ad clear. Power: apex predator Void subclass: shadow shot deadfall tether Aspects: vanishing step Trappers ambush Fragments: Persistence Cessation Starvation Obscurity The play style Stun overload with rocket launcher and activate luckypants and dps with malfeasance. Should be one clip of malfeasance to finish off a champion. Dodge or quick fall for safety invisibility After a champion kill, envious assassin on your wave frame should put two launcher shots in the magazine. Rinse and repeat for all champions or tanks.
Have you tried strand with lucky pants? Shackle nades mess with all Champs making for an easier malfeasance clean up. It's just a different flavor to the same build I suppose. Lol
These are always fun, they get me to jump on D2 just to try them out. I was rocking the mask of Bakris when it first came out, but throughout the seasons its been on the backburner but i like this build!
Been running a build like this since I got wicked implement and absolutely LOVE IT! I combo mine with my envious assassin voltshot UnderCurrent GL and the build SLAPS!
The rocket used in this showcase is good, another one that is similar is the red herring. These rockets are slept on heavy and it’s kinda crazy. They do really damn good damage if you don’t want to grind for an apex predator! Highly recommend the red herring with impact casing, enhanced field prep, enhanced lasting impression. +psychohack the origin trait of the red herring makes targets you hit with it deal less damage in return!
I think instead of triple tap they should give it Shoot to Loot for stasis crystals. Flows perfectly into their design of "pick up crystal refil mag" theyre going for right now
Im running a mask of bakris build with verglas curve indebted kindness and hothead. With the whisper of fractures fragment and the hail the storm artifact perk you can create a chain reaction that basically shatters all enemies/crystals at once without having to get close to them which means as long as ad density is high enough you can get back to back 5x hail the storm arrows with just two shots. Also running a stasis targeting and loader mod makes the bow feel so much better. Even without shiver quiver active the bow feels way less sluggish to use seeing how you're constantly switching between hip fire and aiming down sights. With whisper of hedrons and some armor charge mods you can basically get all 100 stats as well since you're constantly freezing enemies and making enough orbs to fill your armor charges. With these same orbs you can ad stacks of explosive light for hothead for that extra 25% damage which i believe stacks with the 25% from mask of bakris and another 15% from argent ordnance (cant stack surge mods though :/ ) which will delete any stunned champion or leave them in finishing range ( always one taps overloads with the artifact perk). With whisper of bonds, reaper and siphon mods you can get anywhere from 30-45% of your kills to turn into orbs too. Been trying so hard to make a viable stasis build since renewal grasps was still pretty mid (teamates kill enemies before they even get a chance to freeze) but I think I've finally cracked the code after hours of experimenting. Not to mention verglass basically already has intrinsic anti overload and anti unstoppable even without artifact perks due to the slow and shatter effects from hail arrows. Only downside is it still has 0 healing capabilities aside from recuperation mods. But we're rocking some pretty long range weaponry anyways so we should be in less danger so long as we keep our distance. I like saving my dodge with powerful attraction as a panic button when my health runs low though. With all the crystals we're smashing we get our nades back pretty quick too but I rarely even need to use them. Basically just use them to proc whisper of hedrons and shiver quiver at the start of an engagement
I think Replacing bakris with renewal grasp is better since you can stun lock all champs/ groups of ads while also getting the bonus resistance and reducing enemy damage output. Much more consistent for gm's
I think it depends on your play style. I prefer the mask of bakris for the damage buff you get also when you get stuck in the open the dodge gets you back to safety quick. For me personally the renewal grasp have been pretty inconsistent here the glacier grenade can also serve as cover when needed and do good damage also pushes certain enemies out of bounds which is hilarious to see.
I used to run Rags but Bakris shatterdive is more fun. Shatterdive and then light shift back to safety. For me duskfields have been very inconsistent, even more so if I don’t run every fragment built into slowing. The amount of times I’ve had champs just walk through the duskfield or seem to have an insufficient slow/freeze time is frustrating. Currently experimenting by mixing use of duskfields along with verglas curve shatterdive on bakris
Hey Mac, I have a build that I hope you will see. It's a wormgod's caress build on sunbreaker that focuses on high damage from your weapons, ignitions and melee. Hope you see this (who knows, maybe this could be in a Will it build? episode.) Anyways, here's the build: Subclass: Solar Titan (AKA Sunbreaker) Super: Hammer of Sol Barricade: Towering Jump: Whatever you prefer Melee: Hammer Strike Grenade: Thermite Aspects: Sol Invictus and Roaring Flames Fragments: Searing/Ashes/Torches/Mercy Weapons: The only weapon required is Imperial Decree with pugilist and Trench Barrel (more importance for trench barrel though.) Also, I recommend a weapon with incandescent and also Dragon's Breath, just so we can have as many ignitions as possible. Exotic Armor: Wormgod's caress Helmet: kinetic siphon/harmonic siphon and special ammo finder Arms: Heavy Handed (×3) Chest: Concussive Dampener/Charged up and what elemental resist needed Legs: kinetic surge/Recuperation and invigoration Class item: Bomber/Outreach and Proximity Ward To get the ball rolling in harder content, soften your enemies with the thermite grenade (and possibly get at least ×1 of Roaring Flames) then use your hammer strike to finish them off (unless you already have some stacks, then use a regular melee as it will still count as powered.) Basically get stacks of RF, punch enemies, proc radiant, constantly ignite the battlefield and enjoy improved weapon and melee damage. With this setup, I was able to beat the legend lost sector this week while 35 light below in 2 minutes or less (my personal best) with little difficulty and deaths. Anyways, I hope you at least see this, Mactics. Have a good rest of your day everybody, if you have any questions, just ask.
By the way, seasonal mods are kindling trigger/Flint Striker/Revitalizing Blast/ Overload Rocket/Rays of precision and solo operative OR Argent Ordnance.
This is in my top 3 of hunter builds with renewal grasps and i love it, its so much fun and pairs well when me and my buddy are playing and he's using well and polaris lance
I just tested this build out, and was thinking it is either my now go to build for stasis hunter, or maybe switch out the exotic armor for Aeon Swift, since I wasn't dodging as much as I should. Thank you to LonesomeSoap for the mod setup!
Building this RN and trying it out. Saw you on Friday assisting with the deep dive mission. Hope you'll be doing more runs this week. I don't have the weapons just yet. Great content
Not only did I rush to get the wicked implement catalyst and complete it, I finished this build and took it into this week’s GM. Legit end game build I’m blown away. The EASIEST run of The Corrupted I’ve had (outside of Celestial build for this season). Whoever came up with this is a beast
Killing an enemy with shatter damage from a grenade induced freeze does count as a grenade kill. So things like Ashes to Assets and Momentum Transfer do work with stasis grenades; even if it takes an extra step to shatter.
Verity’s void Super: vortex Aspects: Chaos Accelerant,Feed The Void Fragments: Remnants,Harvest,Undermining,Instability Exotics: Verity’s Brow and Graviton Lance Abilities: Healing Rift and Vortex Grenade Weapons: Scatter Signal pve godroll and commemoration with reconstruction and repulsor brace Helmet: Double void siphon and ashes to assets Arms: Grenade kickstart and bolstering detonation Chest: Charged up and preferred damage resistance Legs: Stacks on Stacks and double innervation Bond: Powerful attraction, bomber, reaper This void lock lets you have almost instant up time on grenades, devour pretty much 100% of the time, constant weaken , unraveling rounds, volatile rounds, and void oversheild. Proc deathrows with graviton throw nades, when you pick up an orb use scatter signal on beefy combatants, commemoration is always available for void oversheild bc nades weaken, also make sure you have the unraveling orbs and horde shuttle mods on in the artifact.
Another good weapon of choice (don’t get wrong, I love wicked implement) is verglas curve. It makes the stasis crystals on demand. You could also pair this build with forbearance to have amazing add clear as well. And it works great with conditional finality.
Spur of the moment decided to get this scout rifle the other day. So happy I did. cheers to the submitter and Mactics for giving it a whirl. Also, I recommend consideration of Prodical Return GL. Arc, blinding, volt shot.
I tried this build with the bow Verglas Curve and it proved really good as well because it can create glaciers that we can destroy with our Shatter dive
Silence and squall may never be a damage king but it eats red bars and shits orbs, and is one of the single biggest middle fingers you can give to a room full of enemies in any content tier
Okay, hear me out on this one. I don't have a good name for it yet, but... Solar Hunter - Blade Barrage Aspects: On Your Mark, Knock 'Em Down Fragments: Singeing, Char, Eruption, Blistering, Ashes Abilities: Acrobat's Dodge, Triple Jump, Knife Trick, Incendiary Grenade Weapons: Any Strand kinetic with Enhanced Hatchling, any Solar energy with Enhanced Demolitionist and Enhanced Incandescent (DO NOT use a blinding GL, see NOTE 4), Dragon's Breath with catalyst Armor Exotic: Shards of Galanor Mods (assume stat mods of your choice) Head: 2x Heavy Finder, option for Heavy Scout if you have the extra energy to spare Arms: Fastball, Heavy Handed, Firepower Chest: 3x Harmonic Reserves Legs: 2x Solar Surge, Harmonic Scavenger Class: Powerful Attraction, Distribution, Proximity Ward Artifact Mods C1: Your choice, select to fit C2: Kindling Trigger, Blast Radius C3: Flint Striker, Torch C4: Unravelling Orbs, Revitalizing Blast, Overload Rocket Launchers C5: Solo Operative, Argent Ordinance NOTE 1: Solo Operative may be replaced with any other mod you feel fits best in the event that you are not the only person in your fireteam. NOTE 2: If possible, this build operates best with 100 in Mobility, Resilience, and Intellect. If this is not possible, prioritize Resilience and Intellect. Note 3: This build was tested with a crafted Perpetualis and a crafted BxR-55. The perks matter more than the weapons themselves, but if you're going for the exact setup I was using to get this sucker going, then those two weapons and including Overload Pulse Rifles in column 1 of the artifact is the way to go. NOTE 4: *_A BLINDING GRENADE LAUNCHER WILL HINDER THIS BUILD, AS IT RELIES ON LETHAL SOLAR DAMAGE FOR A PORTION OF THE GAMEPLAY LOOP_* There are a few ways to use this to its full potential, so I'm not going to prescribe an exact gameplay loop. That being said, if you use this right, it's strong enough to make up for being 20+ points under light level for an activity. At 1815, it enabled me to solo flawless my first Master Lost Sector. At 1820, it assisted me in carrying two new lights to platinum rewards in The Coil. A large chunk of this because the combination of artifact mods used effectively breaks Dragon's Breath, and makes it capable of dealing with all 3 types of champions. So it might look and feel a bit weird to set up, but I promise you it will feel significantly better than it looks once you start using it. Thank you for your time, and good luck!
I don’t remember if there’s a mission or not. I know I had to fish a ton and drop certain blade things in statues during the deep dive. I think it splits off. If he doesn’t do it I’d be down to help out. I ain’t the best player in the world but I’ve done it like twice with a few friends.
Mactics man honestly I have built an arc warlock that has just been straight decimating coils and solo content. Works well in a group but shines for solo play. I've been using scatter signal with envious and controlled, centrifuse, crux termination with envious and bipod for up to 8 loaded rockets. If you are interested in having extreme up time on all abilities and a super fast super, blinding effects and survival then I have one of the best arc warlock builds
I don’t have it full fleshed or anything but a build with outbreak and strand, having all that unravelling with the nanites would be a cool combo. wonder if there’s a build that could do well with those
You could also use an Arc rocket like hothead since 1) the GM had rocketlauncher surge and 2) this seasons artifact has overload rocket giving them +25% dmg (like weaponsurges)
I think it would be awesome if you helped people get this gun and do the catalyst run! Not a lot of people have it. It is a fun mission but can be somewhat difficult to complete for some
Warlock Grapple Strand Build: I have been playing around with this build for a few weeks now and can confidently say that this is one of the strongest builds I have ever had in D2. Ability: Grapple Aspects: Mindspun Invo/Wanderer Fragments: Thread of Rebirth/Evolution/Generation/Warding Weapons: Primary - Final Warning (this weapon is the catalyst for the entire build) Secondary - Any weapon that can take care of long distancd enemies Heavy - Anything hard hitting for bosses (I usually stick with rockets) Armor: Verity's Brow (Death Throes will constantly give you your grapple back) All armor mods Head - Harmonic Siphon×2/Hands-on Arms - Heavy handed/Focusing Strike/Momentum Transfer Chest - Pretty much resistance mods/reserves Legs - Insulation/Innervation×2 Bond - Distribution/Bomber/Reaper As far as the artifact perks, just be sure that Horde Shuffle/Unraveling Orbs/Piercing Sidearms are selected. It seems like you do not have to charge Final Warning for the unravel shots to take effect. If you just hip fire 10 consecutive shots on a target they will unravel, giving the Final Warning more damage on precision hits.
No one ever pays attention to the other overcharges in an activity, but for that you could have ran an arc rocket launcher and gotten the 25% because it had overcharged rockets in that NF AND gotten the 25% from Bakris.
Isn't palmyra still suffering from the -10% damage for precision frames? It may not be as common to have but if you've got one bump in the night might have been even better.
Side note, you were getting more damage from your rocked bc you were getting 75% more damage due to the helmet perk, stasis NF perk and NF has overcharged RL perk
Activity surges don’t stack, so he’d only be getting 25% extra damage on his rocket despite the fact that he should be getting buffed by both stasis surge and rocket surge.
When prismatic comes out I’m gonna try to make a hunter build that incorporates the new exotic class item hoping I get spirit of assassin and cyrtarachne on it for invis and woven mail have combination blow and grapple grenade and then with the aspects winter shroud and threaded specter to slow and destract enemies and for fragments I was thinking facet of protection, bravery, hope, and purpose. I haven’t figured out mod loadout or weapons yet but it will most likely involve strand and void weapons. When final shape comes out do you think it would be a good build.
Yes!! wicked implement quest is still tedious! i was only able to complete during the “craftining” with an OP ammit, i haven’t been able to help anyone else get it even though i love doing deep dives and constantly do them! seeing more exposure on how to do it would be great to see
I would love some assistance with the wicked implement quest. Also, just for nostalgia purposes. Has anyone else been seeing D1 on the rise of games everyone's been going back to? Love it!
I think stasis crystals got a rework where the source of the crystal provides the benefit upon shatter, same as how Verglas Curve crystal shatters feed back into hail barrage. Does Whisper of Bonds cooldown timer affect all orb creation or just from the fragment?
I know it handled itself well enough in close quarters, but if you can depend on your team to not be buffoons, undercurrent would probably slap as a back up option. Demo and volt shot to chain into the next shatterdive, the arc boost from bakris, and even the vanguard healing trait. Its just getting the roll on said weapon thats the hard part
I normally run Bakris with fourth horsemen as a kind of nuke build marksman dodge Shoot an (autoloading) Palmyra empty fourth horsemen dodge to relaod fourth and get +dmg fire fourth horseman again while all of that happened, rocket(now with buff) auto loaded escape while firing rockets
radiant dance machines and shatter dive those higher enimies, you just dodge twice, freeze with 2 melees, and then shatter dive for just a fun way of making damage
i wonder how well this would work with aegirs staff? as a stasis hunter main this build is interesting. ive never thought to use mask of bakris on a shatterdive build. ill have to try this out.
MAC PLEASE GIVE GUIDE ON HOW TO GET WICKED IMPLEMENT. idek how to purchase previous seasons/access previous seasonal activities. do you need season of the deep's season pass to get wicked implement? if so how do you even get it now during season of the wish?
wonderful vid, not sure if you know or anyone has told you but if you dodge after you toss ur sup you get precision damage, you can go it b4 but you loss out on that timer (unless bungie change it ) its been a while since i was on this class
I missed out on season of the deep. I got one of the exotic fish but with no one else around to fish with it’s near impossible with the constant despawning from public events. I still have yet to get the wicked implement.
thats awesome a build where you haven't actually needed to change any mods around, and the build should work in any season and not just this season give this guy 2000 silver just for that, its well deserved. im really gonna enjoy this one.
Build idea: chromatic fire, no time to explain, and either arc souls or stasis turrets. Great for mob clearing, especially in raids that have irritating mobs. Just put kinetic orb mods, discipline, grenade orbs, etc.
CRYOBAKRIS PVP SIDEARM MEMERY High Mobility High Resil Mask of Bakris Cryosthesia 77k Energy Enlightened Action + Deconstruct Indebted Kindness Power Eager Edge Half-Truths OR Lasting Impression Hothead OR Headstone Recurrent Impact (w/ Glacier Grenade) Touch of Winter Shatterdive Whisper of Hedrons Whisper of Rending Whisper of Refraction Whisper of Chains Coldsnap Grenade Piercing Sidearms, Stasis and Rocket Launcher Artifact Mods where Applicable The rest is up to you, I’ve been inconsistent w armor mods.
Run the new dungeon's rocket sidearm with anti barrier sidearm this season, and benefit from the Bakris damage on it as well since it's arc (or have permeability on it if you wanna double dip the stasis damage)
Hi, I'm a main hunter and I always like to try new builds and stuff but for stasis had always been renewal grasp and I was dead tired of renewal grasp so I tried this build and I'm loving it, renewal grasp is dead to me now, this build es too versatile. Wanna do damage sure drop a grenade and use shatterdive not feeling safe use dodge and retreat want to do more damage with your guns sure dodge and get your free damage buff Also cooldowns are not a big deal since your grenade recharges fast because of the fragments and the mods so you can constantly use the shatter/nade combo, I really like this build
Fun build I just enjoy a lot, Monte Carlo, triple throwing knives (fire hunter), ophidia spathe. Really monte carlo with any of the knives is a blast, but ophidia spathe just makes it constant, then if for some reason you run out, gambler roll.
don't know if anyone said but shatter is coded as "explosive" damage, only the small ticks from being inside the bubble grenade counts as grenade but its useless.
wicked implement does overload by slowing down enemies with precision hits so i’m stoked to see scouts as stun from an artifact in the future..maybe does 3 in one then
i just started playing again from the beyond light burnout, im not even sure i CAN do that quest line for the wicked implement, i wasnt even sure i could go to the Xur treasure trove until the other day, still not sure how i go about the magnum opus quest, i see it, but it has a prerequisite that i dont know how to get, sigh being out of the loop hard core sucks, i used to sherpa the whisper and outbreak quests. now im lost AF...for some of the HELM stuff did i need to have i think season 20? like i dont want or think i can buy out dated seasons, but i did shell out and get the last few expansions

They gotta make it a rapid fire frame. Then it could make faster and more use of the exotic perk

20% buff and this thing is as desirable as Quicksilver.
We knew about it when it came out
When you used Palmyra-B on the Shrieker at 15:10 you not only had the 25% bakris buff and the 25% stasis surge for the activity, you also had impact casing (2.5%), boss spec (7.77%), EXPLOSIVE LIGHT (25%), AND... Argent ordinance artifact mod would have also buffed it another 15% (multiplicatively). Your impact dmg did 27,372 and your explosive did 87,731. This is 30% more than the damage you did on the Ultra Taken Centurion at the beginning, since he isn't classified as a turret.

I like to use it with renewal grasps
@@carlosflores4179 Renewal Grasps is good for Legend and below content but falls off SUPER hard once you start doing Master-tier and GM-tier content.
@lingering-dreadwrong. Polaris lance has its number.
This was also without the artifact mods which would make this build a lot better with the increase damage and slow on shatter
16:27 My man acted like shooting the stasis crystal that spawns from headstone was some new revolutionary discovery to clear adds lol
Shut up
I mean tbh most people don’t use stasis and see it for ad clear.
Cadmus ridge lancecap
Aspects - tectonic harvest (at least until maybe one day we get build in shards for the class then howl of the storm), diamond lance
Fragments - fissures, rending, shards, conduction (or refraction), rime (could do chains)
Weapons - wicked implement, polaris, really any easy precision hit weapon.
Welcome to the Stand Daner
Your exotic-Radiant dance machines
Subclass-strand
Class ability-Gamblers dodge
Jump-Triple Jump
Grenade-Grapple grenade
Aspects-widows silk and whirling maelstrom
Fragments-warding, propagation, generation, and continuity
Exotic weapon of choice-i prefer quicksilver storm but navigator can work for endgame woven mail
Energy wepaon-any weapon you feel fits your activity
Heavy weapon- I suggest any strand weapon such as marcato with onslaught but it doesn't matter as long as it is stand
Mods:
Helmet mods-harmonic siphon,hands on,heavy ammo finder
Arm mods-impact induction, heavy handed, focussing strike
Chest mods-your choice of resist mods
Leg mods-better already, recuperation, orbs of restoration
Cloak mods-reaper, proximity ward, bomber
Gameplay loop:
You want to start engagements dodging by your enemy then repeatedly throwing your melee in between dodges and throwing/shooting tangles when you can, this will cause you to have woven mail, severe, and unraveling at a constant up time
Have fun with this build mactics I hope you enjoy it!
Sounds exactly like this... th-cam.com/video/ZFVfjhb3v1k/w-d-xo.html
Not me running to D2 to try this out and realizing I've never unlocked Mask of Bakris. 😂 Time to grind Vex Strike Forces I guess.
lmao it was heads for lost sectors yesterday you just missed it
Lol. I have the Mask but not Wicked Implement. Hard skipped most of Season of the Deep...
@@jackalexande Figures lol oh well. I'm way behind on Hunter exotics so all the drops from VSF are pretty useful actually.
bro what is your pfp lol
@@theneedlessmage6826I’m in the same boat, I just don’t have a group I’m comfortable with to try and get Wicked. Probably just gonna turn to LFG and hope for the best
Love the will it build videos, my only request would be that dim links were added. Yes, I can go through the video and put it together but dim links are so nice 😂
Exactly!
I have a build idea!
High champion dps with void invisibility safety.
Exotic armor piece: Lucky pants
Exotic weapon: Malfeasance
Energy weapon: Harsh language w/ envious and destabilizing rounds for ad clear.
Power: apex predator
Void subclass: shadow shot deadfall tether
Aspects:
vanishing step
Trappers ambush
Fragments:
Persistence
Cessation
Starvation
Obscurity
The play style
Stun overload with rocket launcher and activate luckypants and dps with malfeasance.
Should be one clip of malfeasance to finish off a champion.
Dodge or quick fall for safety invisibility
After a champion kill, envious assassin on your wave frame should put two launcher shots in the magazine.
I was rocking the mask of Bakris when it first came out, but throughout the seasons its been on the backburner but i like this build!
i would love some sheparded exotic runs for the hard to get exotics
None of the exotics are hard to get at all. Lost sectors are way too easy if you can read.
I need wicked implement so bad I’ve had an itch to play stasis lately and this build just showed me I need to play it
I think instead of triple tap they should give it Shoot to Loot for stasis crystals. Flows perfectly into their design of "pick up crystal refil mag" theyre going for right now
yes shoot to loot would be perfect
If you do that id recommend swapping wicked implement with salvation grasp for extra stacys
Hope you see this (who knows, maybe this could be in a Will it build? episode.) Anyways, here's the build:
Subclass: Solar Titan (AKA Sunbreaker)
Super: Hammer of Sol
Barricade: Towering
Jump: Whatever you prefer
Melee: Hammer Strike
Grenade: Thermite
Aspects: Sol Invictus and Roaring Flames
Fragments: Searing/Ashes/Torches/Mercy
Weapons: The only weapon required is Imperial Decree with pugilist and Trench Barrel (more importance for trench barrel though.) Also, I recommend a weapon with incandescent and also Dragon's Breath, just so we can have as many ignitions as possible.
Exotic Armor: Wormgod's caress
Helmet: kinetic siphon/harmonic siphon and special ammo finder
Arms: Heavy Handed (×3)
Chest: Concussive Dampener/Charged up and what elemental resist needed
Legs: kinetic surge/Recuperation and invigoration
Class item: Bomber/Outreach and Proximity Ward
To get the ball rolling in harder content, soften your enemies with the thermite grenade (and possibly get at least ×1 of Roaring Flames) then use your hammer strike to finish them off (unless you already have some stacks, then use a regular melee as it will still count as powered.) Basically get stacks of RF, punch enemies, proc radiant, constantly ignite the battlefield and enjoy improved weapon and melee damage.
FINALLY WICKED IMPLEMENT GETS SOME LOVE 🤣
I just tested this build out, and was thinking it is either my now go to build for stasis hunter, or maybe switch out the exotic armor for Aeon Swift, since I wasn't dodging as much as I should. Thank you to LonesomeSoap for the mod setup!
It’s stasis and arc boost from bakris, so that GL could be Forbearance
Personally I think something like Indebted Kindness would be so much better especially for GM content since it packs a punch
He ran the GL for blinding though
Does salvager’s salvo have blinding?
Maan..this build will absolutely SHRED everything in episode Revenant..can't wait to try it
Fun fact about shatter dive..... It deletes colony grenades if time correctly. got the clip on xbox.
How often would you say you used the shatter dive in the gm?
Killing an enemy with shatter damage from a grenade induced freeze does count as a grenade kill. So things like Ashes to Assets and Momentum Transfer do work with stasis grenades; even if it takes an extra step to shatter.
Verity’s void
Super: vortex
Aspects:
Chaos Accelerant,Feed The Void
Fragments: Remnants,Harvest,Undermining,Instability
Exotics:
Verity’s Brow and Graviton Lance
Abilities:
Healing Rift and Vortex Grenade
Weapons: Scatter Signal pve godroll and commemoration with reconstruction and repulsor brace
Helmet: Double void siphon and ashes to assets
Arms: Grenade kickstart and bolstering detonation
Chest: Charged up and preferred damage resistance
Legs: Stacks on Stacks and double innervation
Bond: Powerful attraction,bomber,reaper
This void lock lets you have almost instant up time on grenades, devour pretty much 100% of the time, constant weaken , unraveling rounds, volatile rounds, and void oversheild.
Solar Hunter - Blade Barrage
Aspects: On Your Mark, Knock 'Em Down
Fragments: Singeing, Char, Eruption, Blistering, Ashes
Abilities: Acrobat's Dodge, Triple Jump, Knife Trick, Incendiary Grenade
Weapons: Any Strand kinetic with Enhanced Hatchling, any Solar energy with Enhanced Demolitionist and Enhanced Incandescent (DO NOT use a blinding GL, see NOTE 4), Dragon's Breath with catalyst
Armor Exotic: Shards of Galanor
Mods (assume stat mods of your choice)
Head: 2x Heavy Finder, option for Heavy Scout if you have the extra energy to spare
Arms: Fastball, Heavy Handed, Firepower
Chest: 3x Harmonic Reserves
Legs: 2x Solar Surge, Harmonic Scavenger
Class: Powerful Attraction, Distribution, Proximity Ward
Artifact Mods
C1: Your choice, select to fit
C2: Kindling Trigger, Blast Radius
C3: Flint Striker, Torch
C4: Unravelling Orbs, Revitalizing Blast, Overload Rocket Launchers
C5: Solo Operative, Argent Ordinance
NOTE 1: Solo Operative may be replaced with any other mod you feel fits best in the event that you are not the only person in your fireteam.
NOTE 4: *_A BLINDING GRENADE LAUNCHER WILL HINDER THIS BUILD, AS IT RELIES ON LETHAL SOLAR DAMAGE FOR A PORTION OF THE GAMEPLAY LOOP_*
There are a few ways to use this to its full potential, so I'm not going to prescribe an exact gameplay loop.
I was using the the crystal dive combo since stasis was introduced. Never underestimate it. Its amazing
25:00 I'd love that as I'm one who still needs to get it don't even think I have the mission yet.
I love that helm and gun actually. Excited to try this
I don’t have it full fleshed or anything but a build with outbreak and strand, having all that unravelling with the nanites would be a cool combo. wonder if there’s a build that could do well with those
You could also use an Arc rocket like hothead since 1) the GM had rocketlauncher surge and 2) this seasons artifact has overload rocket giving them +25% dmg (like weaponsurges)
Great series, very much appreciate your explanations along the way !!
Bro this got me so hyped that we got a very good stasis hunter build so I can skate around all the time like a maniac
I think it would be awesome if you helped people get this gun and do the catalyst run! Not a lot of people have it. It is a fun mission but can be somewhat difficult to complete for some
Yes. I’d love to have it. Tried many times with help of guides. Yet the timed maze and Tormentor just destroys me..
Absolutely need help to get the gun i have tried and died so many times lol
Warlock Grapple Strand Build: I have been playing around with this build for a few weeks now and can confidently say that this is one of the strongest builds I have ever had in D2.
Ability: Grapple
Aspects: Mindspun Invo/Wanderer
Fragments: Thread of Rebirth/Evolution/Generation/Warding
Weapons:
Primary - Final Warning (this weapon is the catalyst for the entire build)
Secondary - Any weapon that can take care of long distancd enemies
Heavy - Anything hard hitting for bosses (I usually stick with rockets)
Armor: Verity's Brow (Death Throes will constantly give you your grapple back)
All armor mods
Head - Harmonic Siphon×2/Hands-on
Arms - Heavy handed/Focusing Strike/Momentum Transfer
Chest - Pretty much resistance mods/reserves
Legs - Insulation/Innervation×2
Bond - Distribution/Bomber/Reaper
As far as the artifact perks, just be sure that Horde Shuffle/Unraveling Orbs/Piercing Sidearms are selected.
It seems like you do not have to charge Final Warning for the unravel shots to take effect. If you just hip fire 10 consecutive shots on a target they will unravel, giving the Final Warning more damage on precision hits.
Leeeets go, love this series so much
No one ever pays attention to the other overcharges in an activity, but for that you could have ran an arc rocket launcher and gotten the 25% because it had overcharged rockets in that NF AND gotten the 25% from Bakris.
Wicked Implement mission is tough but doable. Haven’t beaten Tier 7 Deep Dives for the catalyst though
When final shape comes out do you think it would be a good build.
running indebted kindness and crux with this build is what ive been wanting to try
I got the Wicked implement las week with LFG I love this scout..Going to do this build right now
I have wicked implement but the catalyst is a pain haha. I've always loved mask of Bakris so shout out to the builder of this
Absolutely!! All my homies left and I’ve been solo for about a year now.
Yes!! wicked implement quest is still tedious! i was only able to complete during the “craftining” with an OP ammit, i haven’t been able to help anyone else get it even though i love doing deep dives and constantly do them! seeing more exposure on how to do it would be great to see
I found wicked implement works better with titan for diamond lance, because it ignores the cool down for creating new ones.
Bakris makes the already lovely Salvager's Salvo POP OFF
I would love some assistance with the wicked implement quest. Also, just for nostalgia purposes. Has anyone else been seeing D1 on the rise of games everyone's been going back to? Love it!
That gm is hell doing it solo for malfeasance was killing me
add triple tap on precision hits spawns a stasis crystal that tracks to you and refills mag would make wicked top tier and so much more fun
I normally run Bakris with fourth horsemen as a kind of nuke build
marksman dodge
Shoot an (autoloading) Palmyra
empty fourth horsemen
dodge to relaod fourth and get +dmg
fire fourth horseman again
while all of that happened, rocket(now with buff) auto loaded
escape while firing rockets
Don't forget that the Palmyra gets Hakke Breach Armaments which I believe affects the Shriekers too.
radiant dance machines and shatter dive
those higher enimies, you just dodge twice, freeze with 2 melees, and then shatter dive for just a fun way of making damage
i wonder how well this would work with aegirs staff? as a stasis hunter main this build is interesting. ive never thought to use mask of bakris on a shatterdive build. ill have to try this out.
MAC PLEASE GIVE GUIDE ON HOW TO GET WICKED IMPLEMENT. idek how to purchase previous seasons/access previous seasonal activities. do you need season of the deep's season pass to get wicked implement? if so how do you even get it now during season of the wish?
You get overflow when getting the receiving the returned stasis shards, so having something like triple tap would be too OP.
wonderful vid, not sure if you know or anyone has told you but if you dodge after you toss ur sup you get precision damage, you can go it b4 but you loss out on that timer (unless bungie change it ) its been a while since i was on this class
Great vid - last I checked only something like 24% of the playerbase has Navigator and only 33% have Wicked Implement
Wicked implement refills entire mag each time you pick up a shard either from weapon kill or crystal break.
Two things:
Would verglas curve be a better weapon due to shattering crystals?
And what shader is that white?
Build idea: chromatic fire, no time to explain, and either arc souls or stasis turrets. Great for mob clearing, especially in raids that have irritating mobs.
Just put kinetic orb mods, discipline, grenade orbs, etc.
I don't understand how someone who streams destiny for a living talks like he's still learning the basics of the game.

Agers is scepter definitely slept on this season! Try that same build
Wanna do damage sure drop a grenade and use shatterdive
not feeling safe use dodge and retreat
want to do more damage with your guns sure dodge and get your free damage buff
Also cooldowns are not a big deal since your grenade recharges fast because of the fragments and the mods so you can constantly use the shatter/nade combo, I really like this build
Fun build I just enjoy a lot, Monte Carlo, triple throwing knives (fire hunter), ophidia spathe. Really monte carlo with any of the knives is a blast, but ophidia spathe just makes it constant, then if for some reason you run out, gambler roll.
Also if this has been posted before, sorry, I don't think I've seen this youtuber before
Just got done running a LoS GM running Renewals and Wicked. It's so good.
D2 lfg discord has people doing even the Wicked Implement and its catalyst runs. Just in case someone still needs it. The catalyst is bit rng, but
don't know if anyone said but shatter is coded as "explosive" damage, only the small ticks from being inside the bubble grenade counts as grenade but its useless.
I'll be down for Mac doing carries on the gun but I need the catalyst
I wonder if the shatter dive will push Crota off the ledge.
definitely WOULD love to get help getting the wicked implement
I think the indebted kindness would go perfect with this build
I have a clanmate with the fish and we both have been trying for Wicked Implement. Maybe we would not need a carry ifwe picked good Will It Builds.
Sorry, mostly a solo player. What is that red circle that looks like it is shooting at 19:45? Never seen it before
I think it should have been stasis version of polaris and every 5th precision causes a slow debuff in an area of effect or even shatter damage
wicked implement does overload by slowing down enemies with precision hits so i’m stoked to see scouts as stun from an artifact in the future..maybe does 3 in one then
i just started playing again from the beyond light burnout, im not even sure i CAN do that quest line for the wicked implement, i wasnt even sure i could go to the Xur treasure trove until the other day, still not sure how i go about the magnum opus quest, i see it, but it has a prerequisite that i dont know how to get, sigh being out of the loop hard core sucks, i used to sherpa the whisper and outbreak quests. now im lost AF...for some of the HELM stuff did i need to have i think season 20? like i dont want or think i can buy out dated seasons, but i did shell out and get the last few expansions
