I went the control route with the deck focusing on blue and multiple swings with shields and iris of reality and had great success 😅
If you can maintain a good amount of Shields, that build can be ultra overwhelming!

This is really cool. Been looking at the Prism deck for ages trying to work out if it goes in a Shields Up type direction or a big beefy angels direction. I think my biggest current issue is that locally Levia is really popular, so theres a ton of ways to trigger Phantasm in my meta. Hopefully these changes fix a lot, because I am a big fan of Prism.

Nice budget build! Once unlimited hits the shelves, you guys should do more deck techs!
We definitely will be doing more with the drop of unlimited! With unlimited we can probably push the budget to $75 and be close to, if not achieve, a fully "optimized" (in our opinion) build, without legendary equipment of course.

We have been getting a lot of ask for this - you may have to give us a couple days to get the full list together, but we plan on getting them thrown in the vid description alongside the in/out notes!

@@HometownTcg I made changes based on cards I had. Added Tunic, Skullcap, 2 C&C, Sink Below and traded a Triumph for a Celestial Cataclysm.
Phantasmaclasm was replaced with Enigma Chimera red and one of the Phantasmify blues got swapped for yellow.
The deck started pretty good. My won the first round against Dorinthea in a close match.
Next I lost to Bravo in a pretty close match. Prismatic Shield on turn one and swinging all of the shields on my turn was a good start. In the end, we were both at 5 and I could not block enough of an attack for 13.
Ira shut me down the first two turns with C&C both turns. I couldn't recover. Ira still had 13 life when he killed me.
Another Bravo finished the night destroying too many of my Phantasm attacks for the win.
Overall a 1-3 record was not the greatest.
The big attacks are fragile and, unless you start with some big hits, it can't maintain any type of pressure. When you are behind, a 7 power attack doesn't put you back in the game.
My next attempt will be to add some Life for a Life and Ravenous Rabble to give me some chip damage before the Herald haymakers. I'm hoping having multiple attacks per turn can allow the deck to push a bit further than it can right now. If I can chip out 5 more life over the course of the game, the threat of a Pummel could change the game.
Adding Life for a Life (2B + 2Y) and Ravenous Rabble (2Y + 2R) really felt great and allowed me to keep pressure on my opponents. Unfortunately, the Bravo matchup feels unwinnable without footsteps. Time to move on to Boltyn.

The deck is two cards over, you add 20 but only remove 18. Otherwise seems good

Hah even the unlimited Luminaris is more pricey than the total upgrade cost. I've got Chane down, need to do a light hero. After pulling the Library and Footsteps the next day, the choice wad made clear
That price has GOT to come down - keeping our fingers crossed and congrats on the sick pulls!
@@HometownTcg the price is as low as it should be in all honesty. Considering it's CF brother is selling 4-5x higher I'm more surprised the Unlimited is so low. 375-450 is what I'm seeing. Don't get me wrong dropping that coin on a piece of cardboard is completely foreign to me but the Fable in this set is highly desired and highly under valued considering the Heart and Eye.
If you did take out the mentor, what would you put in?
Most likely another yellow pummel to fit the style of this build!

No you are correct - we made a mistake when writing the in out list that we haven't updated. Blue Herald of Ravages is listed as "in" but should be "out"!

After you finish these decktechs for the precons, have you considered doing budget blitz decktechs for previous heros? Maybe in the $50-$60 range?
That is definitely an interesting idea! Once we get everyone caught up with Monarch we might have to revisit that idea....
Is there a hero in particular you'd be looking for?
@@HometownTcg Not really, I just really like these as intro videos. Some videos are already out there, but they are usually super budget, commons and rares only, or full blown $1000 decks.
Great video! I noticed that you added 20-24 in your notes, but only took out 18, what else would you recommend to take out of the deck?

Loving prism so far the only thing that sucks if your going against a brute all your crap is gonna explode

@@HometownTcg Just got into the game so far I just bought all 7 blitz decks looking at booster boxes now. i was playing dbs tcg but i'm sick of bandais shit so i'm thinking of making my new tcg home with flesh and blood.
Oh great! If you are playing Levia with the blitz decks, you want to only attack with the heralds once all game really, on Herald of Protection. Your real strategy is to block until they use their boots for go again. Then you create a spectral shield on your turn and swing with it. Then block with three cards and pitch a blue for your weapon every turn until you win.

For sure. It will feel really weird. But properly timing your instants and protecting your spectral shields is how you have to play a brute or guardian match up. Good luck!
Would it be best to wait for unlimited to pick up these cards?
Most of the cards in this build will be only slightly cheaper in unlimited. Like maybe 20-22 total instead of 25. Upgrading further than this may want to wait another week or 2 for unlimited.
