Awesome video guys. I've just got into this game, and Chane is easily my favourite deck. Got a box of Monarch and some Welcome to Rathe booster packs, plus an Armoury event at the end of the month, so gonna be upgrading soon. Just keeping the deck as it is for now to teach some friends over the next few weeks, since I picked up Prism too and they seem like a good matchup.
Just curious, how do you decide how much pitch to add and in what combination? I'm trying to get my head around that for deck building.
Pitch is dependent on the deck and what you want your hands and turns to look like! A lot of the building will come with experience so enjoy it and learn as much as you can as you go!
I feel consuming volition and some of the actions that focuses on increasing quality of attacks over quantity is a bit malplaced. But volition+pummel is a great 2nd/3rd attack.
The point of the volition is simply to force the opponent to the back foot. First they inevitably block the first arcane damage you do with a card. Then they are forced to block this with a solid reaction or card+equipment. That means the next turn you can just eat or equipment block and just keep the pressure up. If you do not hit a prism with effects that hurt their hand for example, they will just hit back with 2-3 heralds which really, really hurts and is difficult for average chane decks to deal with.
That being said I often feel it's not just performing so I don't really run it, I'm looking for the consistent alternatives to that card that would really force your opponent to follow the pace you set for the game ^^
We debated volition for some time and while we think it has its place in a couple lists and can definitely devastate if you can meet its conditions.
Remember, however, volition only costs 1 so it can't be pummeled, you'd have to Razor Reflex it.
Once crucible comes out I’ll start upgrading decks. Right now I’ll leave these decks as is and use them solely to teach new players.
Not a bad idea. If you're just starting to build a community, it's would be nice to have all the decks on the same power level. However, once Monarch unlimited releases, there will be some cheap card prices to fill out decks since most Cru cards won't be needed for Monarch heroes. So it's up to you. Best of luck building your local community!

There are a lot of majestic and different options now that more sets have come out and everything is more affordable. Check out belittle/minnowism combo!
Now that seeds is banned what would be the changes to this deck?
That is a tough one - there aren't any real direct replacements, but players ARE leaning into a go tall strategy based around Bounding Demigon/Howl from Beyond into Rosetta Thorn
Any update on the recent banned card list? What would be a good exchange for Seeds of Agony?
Nothing can directly replace it, but here are some other non attack actions that are good that can go in. Seeping shadows yellow. Blue and yellow mauvrion skies. Sonata arcanix. Dimenxxional crossroads. Dimenxxional gateway.
You guys mentioned shadow of ursur and shadow puppetry at the end of this vid. What cards would you replace in this deck for those cards?
We would say mauvrion skies and rip through reality blue most likely
@@HometownTcg gonna run this deck how you guys have it at skirmish this weekend or with the shadows if they make it in time. Also have a 5k blitz later this month so will be running it there too. Will come back with results.

Hi, just wondering if adding shadow of ursur and shadow puppetry, how many copies would you guys add and replacing what cards?
Definitely 2 of each. We'd say take out blue rip through reality for shadow of Ursur. And shadow puppetry is up to you. Maybe one mauvrion skies red and one bounding demigon blue.
