- In this video I will show how to install Moroday’s Garage Door Seals on a 4.7m x 2.1m double garage door. Moroday Garage Door Seals are designed to protect your home against the elements, debris and pests/bugs. Top quality and specifically made to suit panel lift and sectional roller doors, these door/garage seals are easy to install and built to last.
Large gaps across the full width of a garage door bottom or side can be very problematic. They might let in air, water, light and bugs. This short video from will show you how to address this issue, and the product to use!
As I am not the expert in installing a garage door seal and was doing it for the first time you will find in this video how I encountered a problem during the installation and how found a way to fix it.

Looks good, FYI the angled side seals are for roller doors. With panel doors, you can get away with the straight ones on the side, looks a bit more tidy. Either way, does the job
Thanks and agree . As you can see I am completely inexperienced and was doing it for the first time with bare minimum tools .
Looks good. Thanks for a detailed video
Good job for sharing we all get to learn from your mistakes 😊 this is exactly what I'm looking for.
Love that. I was looking for something like this. Off to Bunnings now :)
Good job bro. Thanks for sharing ❤
thanks mate.
Time to insulate the garage panel now mate!
@@Out-Of-The-Box-AU that’s happening soon
On the top You should have cut one brush short and the other longer and then put the longer brush in the other holder, it would look like one complete seamless
yes, this is what I mentioned at 11:50
How about cold in winter and heat in summer? Does it insulate some of it?
nahh no insulation from heat or cold. Just blocks off dirt, bugs and light.
Hi buddy
Thanks for the video
Can i ask you where you got the tiles for garage ?
How its holding up ?
Pros and cons pls if you can
Thanks
@@JB-qj1mq tiles were already there when I bought the house . Are you asking about the cons/benefits of the tiles or the garage door seals ?
@@zeeque cons and pros having tiled garage ?
I mounted them on the sides on sandstone. It works well except one side. Approximately 15cm from the bottom the garage door stops shutting and goes back up. I tried everything (adjusting left/right & up/down) but no success, so I removed the one with the problem and it works fine. What can be the reason????????????
@@Ja14111948 could be many reasons . Do you have the frame too close to the door which restricts the door coming down ? Did you cut your brushes too short that made them stiff ?
@@zeeque thanks for the prompt reply. No, the frame is as close to the door as on the other side, and I did not cut the brushes at all. My luck: I get this problem intermittently, often it works, sometimes it doesn't. The other day when it was pissing down with rain, it didn't work. OMG I was cheesed off, I had no choice but remove it from that side entirely. Another problem is the sandstone I think, in some places it's so uneven.
@@Ja14111948 I am sorry , but I can not help you with this one. Seems like there are number of issues happening here.
@@zeeque now it appears to be working, I put some blutag in between the upper- and lower parts.
@@Ja14111948 glad its working for you, but funny how small thing like a bluetag can fix some major dramas in our lives. haha
Awesome, how many meters are the kits?
2.25 meters
7 months later did it work ?
Still doing the job keeping the bugs , dust and light out.
interesting use
That is their intended use?
Sorry mate that corner joint lookslike a dogs breakfast. Couldnt the brushes finish at a near matching lenght.
yup, i agree. As you can see I was doing this for the first time with limited experience and tools.
@@zeeque you helped me anyway. I think I will take my straight edged brushes for ones at 45deg and try and mount from the inside of the garage. I can't recall seeing 45s when at Bunnings but apparently they are available
@@triplex7144 thanks bud. I will be doing a better job if I have to do it again.
