      @@sosgds yes it sure can. We've been doing a lot of Storm Shields as well. Hope to have a video on that soon. Got to add that to my list of videos I have to finish. I've been on vacation so I've barely done anything. July is my month I get a full body and mental break. Kinda a reboot if you will. Preping for the rest of the year, which is pedal to the metal non stop door action until next July!!! 💪🏼🤓🤟🏼.

    Hello,
    My retainer is bent and I noticed my strip to hold the seal is also rusted. So do I replace the aluminum strip first?
    The dent is bigger than it should be so I’m not sure what else to do….
    Is there someone I can call for this?

    What is the best application for a wooden garage door that opens manually (no automatic opener)? I don't want to use a floor seal. And will I have to adjust the latch that slides into the side track to lock the door?

    • @sosgds
      @sosgds  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello. There are seals that will work for a wood door. These seals are usually tacked or stapled onto the bottom. Here is a link to an option thru Amazon: amzn.to/3sZvpXp

    Is it better to have the kind of seal that has the extra rubber circle inside? Does it help create a quieter close?

    • @sosgds
      @sosgds  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello. The inner circle seal offers better support. Yet it does not make it quieter than a seal without it. Either way a new seal with or without a circle will offer a better barrier.

It looks like from old owner manual and old contract invoice I have two sized doors 16×7 and a 9×7 and it looks like the model door is a Windsor 530. Where can I find a garage seal that’s 9 feet long and is 1 1/4 wide to fit my garage?

    • @sosgds
      @sosgds  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello. You might will only be able to find a 16 ft long seal. They usually come in a 16-ft long or 8 ft long size. Rarely are they found in a nine, or 10 ft length. Thus you might have to purchase the 16 footer and make the necessary cut. But what you really want to make sure is what type of retainer channel you have in order to purchase the right seal. Thus do you know if you have a t channel retainer?
