Looe is just 10 mins up the road from us and a lovely site 👍
I also work on the Torpoint ferry you used to cross into Cornwall. I hope you had a good crossing.

Thanks Mike, Beautiful part of the world. We don't normally go high season so was a bit bussier this time. I got into trouble on the Ferry. First time we used it and I wasn't sure what we were doing so followed a few cars through the first set of lights into one of the queuing lanes. Didn't realise the first set of lights was red and got told off and was made to wait for a while and they loaded a few ferries before we were let on. Lesson learned. I have another Vlog on Looe which I need to edit and upload. Thanks for watching and commenting. James

@@CaravanEscapades101 lots of new visitors don’t see the lights as they approach the lanes so your not the first 😬👍

We are visiting for the first time in a couple of weeks. We have grass pitch with awning and our outfit is 6.5m. What is the best part of the site to select if we are given the option? 2 adults, no kids. Always best to get recommendations if we can. Great video, many thanks

Hi, Thanks for watching. If you get the option, you want to go to the lower part of the site. It is smaller and a bit quieter with slightly better views. I am not sure if there are any grass pitches on the bottom half of the site, though I can't totally remember. Hope that helps. Have a great time and happy camping

There are only 3 grass pitches in the bottom section of the site. 154, 155 and 156

Hi James forgot to ask you what spikes you use for your flag poles ? Iv tried various ones but don’t seem very 💪 any advice would be appreciated 😀

Hi Ken, i have made my own. I have used a stainless steel 12mm diameter pole just over a meter long and hammer it into the ground and sit the pole over it. It dosent have to be stainless steel, normal steel will work but would be worth painting. Hope that helps. Thanks James

Hi Ken. Thank you. I use the Avtex Tourer, 2. Yes I have been very pleased with it. You can use it both when towing and not towing. You input the sizes of your set up and away you go. It had all the CMHC and Acsi sites across Europe programmed in. Its not the cheapest. Based on a Garmin. Hope that helps. James

The age old question when visiting Cornwall. 'A30 or A38' ? We have used both and not much difference time wise, but must say that A30 has a couple of really steep hills!

Hello James looks a lovely site, we have only had are caravan for a couple of months and been out init four times and really enjoyed it, now we are thinking of joining the caravan and Motor Home Club, I am I right in thinking the sites are quite after a certain time and you get instructions of the best approach to get to the site when you book, 👍.

Hi, Welcome to the world of caravanning, Great that you are getting out and about in the caravan and enjoyed it. I tend to find the CMHC sites more relaxed and chilled than some of the commercial sites or the CCC sites. You do tend to find that most of the campers quieten down earlier in the evening. The CMHC hand book has the best route to approach the sites, I this information should also comes with your booking confirmation and can be found on the website, Hope that helps and happy camping. James

@@CaravanEscapades101 Thank you James, I think we will be joining CMHC very soon, on are last trip we had noisy people by the side of us witch did spoil it for us and others the warden did give them a warning but it didn’t feel right, anyway thanks again and I will keep on watching your videos 👍👍.

@@busterboy7505 we can recomend the CMHC site. Can be a bit more expensive but you know what your getting. Some people say that they can be a but strict and the Wardens a bit to official. We have never had any issues though and enjoy our time on CMHC sites. There is also a lot more to the memembership tha just the sites
