Nice spot in Minehead, with easy access to the town and the seafront. The West Somerset Railway is interesting to have a look at and the walk you mentioned to Dunster Beach is good. The Apple Tree cafe in the High street is a great place to go for lunch or even just a cup of tea/coffee. Thanks for showing us around
Very interesting video thanks, we haven't been to Minehead for a very long time , as kids actually to Butlins 😂😂😂 . Que memory lane time . Thanks or sharing we'll have to explore this part of the world.
Hi 👋 Had the shock of my life the other day, actually had to rewind it and call the Mrs in , Joles as an interceptor 😁😅🤣😂 gotta say he's a bit slower in the motorhome. Keep up the great work 👍 👏
Hubby and i were in minehead in july the two weeks of very hot weather and it was busy as well, we stayed about 5 mins from the centre, we had lunch at the Wheelhouse which is a family run place it was excellent and lovely owners, only thing was being starred at whilst we ate as we sat outside because it was so hot, Dunster proberly my fav place very pretty not sure about parking i think you mentioned with a motorhome, but was pretty, good to see fudge out and about hope he is keeping well xxx
One dog walking feature that can be added to a recumbent trike is a fixed arm that a leash can be tied to. It works perfectly. The dog trots a safe distance from the wheels to the side and everyone is happy. Pace yourself and the dog so as not to over work them or their paws.
We have tried two ways, he has a harness that we have clipped in to one of the rear seatbelts but we found he couldn’t move due to the strap not being long enough. The other method was to attach a short lead to his harness and then attach this to the leg of the fixed table. He could then turn around on the floor. We bought a non slip bath mat for him to lay on so he doesn’t slide about on the floor. Enjoy your new motorhome 😊👍 Karina
Once you and George have the chance to ride around on a recumbent trike, I know you will be hooked! I guarantee it! A battery-powered pedal assist trike would be an even more ideal situation. No hills too steep. I'm trying not to be obnoxiously persistent here, but I watched this stop while keeping an eye out for how well a recumbent trike would enhance the experience and extend the jaunt. With a trike, you just conveniently stop as pedestrians approach and they pass you safely. You don't have to stop and catch your balance as you would on a bike. When you parked your RV and I saw your large rear garage door, I was so filled with envy. The perfect situation. Fish and chips demand to be eaten straight away. Cold fish and chips are not good at all! In England, you used to wrap fish and chips in used newspaper to keep them warm. But in the 70's you stopped doing it because of the toxic dyes in the ink.
Another great vlog 👍.. I’ve been looking for the review on your motorhome WiFi system you had installed, have I missed it or have not not done it yet ?
Hi both. Two question's if I may. What did Jules have on his Kebab? Looked like chicken nuggets or something and also, what camera set up have you got in the cab with the split screen? looked really good. Thanks.
Hi Iann..it was a mixed kebab,, grilled chicken, with salad and garlic mayonnaise..no nuggets 😂 In the windscreen we used a Go Pro 9 and a DJI Action. Have a great week and thank you for watching 😊 Karina
@@HereWeTow Thanks for quick response. How did you get the picture in picture? do you use fancy software? I ask because my kids want to create a channel when we finally get a motorhome and any help on kit and software would be great. Hope you enjoyed the food, it looked fab.
It is DaVinci Resolve, it’s free software, it isn’t easy to explain how to do it all but when you get started we can give you some advice. Basic editing is straight forward though 😊👍
Thanks both 👍👍 Fantastic vlog, really enjoyed it. We absolutely love Minehead its just across the channel from us . I'm a bit biased though as my Grandfather was born and raised there. 😊👍 Yes the channel very often looks brown and murky because of the high tide ranges stirring up the mud and silt but it still looks impressive 👌 🤩 Thanks again 👍
I really like Minehead we used to spend Christmas at Butlins years ago! Might venture over from Devon when we go in a few weeks! Can't wait!! Great vlog K&J as always, take care xxx
Been there 6 times now, going again over Christmas this year. Great walks, if you walk past Butlins, to the golf club at the end and the parking, you can walk along a path or the beach to Blue Anchor. Great place if you have a dog. Love the site.
Great revue . love that area so much to see and do . we have a tandem which we take with our motorhome we tend to camp just outside Porlock places worth visiting Watchet, Dunster, Dunster beach, Bossington, Allerford, Porlock, Porlock wear, Lynmouth, Lynton. Stunning area but the roads are bendy and very hilly.
Very informative vlog. We were in Minehead last year and stayed at the CMC site where we had a dreadful pitch. We just couldn't get our van anywhere near level after ramping on 3 wheels. I have to say the site was pretty full when we arrived so it was Hobson's choice! Our wonky motorhome experience didn't spoil our stay though. The site is ideally positioned and surprisingly peaceful. If you walk to the left ( away from Butlins ) towards the small harbour, at the end, you would find lots of parking for motorhomes in quite a large car park.
I made a school girl error by not recording my sound in the Motorhome so by the time I got to the seafront I was a bit disillusioned with my mic. 😬😂 Sorry about the wind noise though…I will try better this week when I get away 😊
While I have never been down the A39. If it's 2 lanes and HGV use it I would not want to scare of newbies using that route, it's hardly a narrow country lane.dpes look like a great site
Honestly Victor you would not want to tow an 8ft caravan down it..the HGVs are generally over the white line and its solid hedges along quite a bit of it. My advice would be that you wont have an enjoyable tow to site on the A39 with a big unit. I hope you and Karen have had a nice summer and are both okay. 😊 Karina

Thank you Ann, have a lovely week 😊
Your metal railings in England are very well done.
A great standard to be proud of.
Thank you 😊
Great videos, especially where you mention parking for motorhomes, so helpful for us newbies, all the best from us both, Gary and Julie. x
Glad it was helpful! 😊
@@HereWeTow Very much so, thank you.
Great video and good talk of route to site which helps when you never visited site
Thank you for watching 😊
The road from Taunton to Williton is the A358, not the A38. You then join the A39 to Minehead.
Thanks Pete 👍
I hadn't noticed how many times you say 'so' until you said... I will count them on the next video lol... Great video
😂Thanks Tim…

I think Butlins is a bit wilder these days 😂 I hope you are enjoying your trip 😊
Amber Gambles , that's a blast from the past
😂👍
Got to like that automatic gearbox. Sweet.
Yes,really glad we went for the automatic 👍
'Dukes of Hazzard...!' LOL! :)
Rominoes! U can't beat an English small business cheek. Great channel, your a lovely couple and fudge too
Thank you 😊 Karina

😂Thanks Neil, yes we have had a few people spot him on Interceptors…he had more of a speaking role back then 😂 Have a lovely week, Karina

Thank you Linda, I can imagine it would have been pretty busy when you visited, especially with the good weather. Have a lovely week, Karina 😊

You've probably covered this, we pick up our first motor home this Friday. How do you secure Fudge for traveling, we also have a German Shepard.

@@HereWeTow Great thanks for your help.
Nice to see jules and fudge too…. Love to see sites where you can walk into the local towns too. Great video and always… love your channel !!
Thanks Jon, I like to be able to walk in to the towns too, it’s nice just to park up and then head off on foot. Have a lovely week, Karina and Jules

Baggsed it, not heard that since I was a kid in Huddersfield.
Maybe it is a West Yorkshire saying 🤷🏼♀️😂 Thanks for watching 😊 Karina
Just behind me is a bus. You had to say that because it was funny. 😂 😂 😂

Thanks for watching Andy, I like Minehead, not too big or commercial and a nice walk on the front. 😊 Karina
Loved your video, I think fudge is absolutely adorable. Very windy but you coped very well with it
Thank you Susan, I hope you are enjoying your travels and keeping well 😊

😊 Thanks Nigel…have a nice week, Karina
Love your sense of humour..nice to see Fudge and a fish and chip review. 👍
Thank you for watching 😊
I am still thrown off by the steering wheel being located on the right.
Yes..I can imagine and with us driving on the left too 😊
