THE BONNEVILLE COCKTAIL COLLECTION Wow that is interesting, A summer ago I was experimenting and i end up with a variation of mind julep, instead of cucumber I use grilled pineapple and age mezcal instead of silver.
Love all your videos. Just want to say, your presentation and instruction on all your cocktails is top notch. Always engaging without the talking down like many other channels do.
I'm going to try ALL 5 OF THEM!!!!! Those look amazing! Thank you so much, as always! And thank you for having the name and ingredients typed on the screen: I'm an American, and I get so wrapped up in your beautiful accent I forget to pay attention to the drink! Have a great summer!
Awesome video, great ideas and thoughts to ponder on. Only thing is the Rickey needed salt to be a traditional Rickey, but still pretty good; try adding some ancho Reyes in and it’s pretty bangin’
Thats interesting, I've never heard of salt in a Rickey. The oldest recipe I've seen is from Harry Johnson's 1882 "Bartenders Manual" which didn't use salt. He did refer to seltzers, used for carbonation.
Two things: I’m supremely grateful for this channel. It has helped me immensely over the past year as I’ve joined the craft cocktail space here in Texas. Also: your music you have for this video is awesome! Link to a track possibly?
First of all great channel, keep it up, I love the videos and the cocktails as well. I am from argentina (soooo sorry about my english) and I thought that it might be funny for you to recreate one of the most iconic argentinian drinks (Fernet con coca) in an argentinian style. If you want to do it, here is the list of things you'll need. -"los palmeras" playing on the background (the most important part). -Be wearing a football t-shirt. -5 or 4 pices of ice (depends on you'r taste). -A bottle of Coca-Cola cutted in half (burn the edges to avoid cutting yourself while drinking). -Fernet (duh) -Coca Cola. -Asado (BBQ, but entirely optional). -Some friends to enjoy your drink. Preparation: having the music and the half bottle ready, you put the ice inside, then you proced to get a 70-30% coca cola fernet ratio on your bottle (pour the coca cola slow so you won't get that much foam, and you can adjust the ratio to you´r taste) stir with your middle finger for style points (about 7sec). and thats prety much it. thx and keep up the good work. cheers.
Should try the Danalana Sling Slong Ingredients 25ml lemon Juice 25ml Demerara syrup 3 dashes of angustora bitters 25ml Sweet Vermouth 50ml Blended Scotch Start by building in a rocks glass, add ice and add all together, stir and serve. Very simple and delicious
Wow! Such great new ideas! Will try the first and third! But about the Rasperry Gin Ricky: this is actly nearly the same like the clover club? You have a idea to just add a little bit of complexitiy to it? I‘d try 5-10ml of elderflower liquer
Could you do a Genever video? Not only is Genever one of the oldest spirits used in cocktails, it is also a very complex one with loads of varieties (brown genever, or infused with different herbs and spices). Greetings, A Dutch fan p.s. Thanks for the awesome content!
have you ever thought of juicing fresh sugarcane as a sweetner for a cocktail, and then using portions of the cane dried out for use as swizzle sticks?
My new twist on a whiskey sour and an old fashioned: the canadian 20ml of lemon juice 15ml of maple syrup 50ml of canadian whiskey 2 dashes of maple bitters 5ml of nocino(walnut liquor) Shake over ice and then serve in a rocks glass over ice garnished with a lemon zest or a maple leaf(only for style's sake) #SubscriberCocktails
Can you teach us how to open the soda water bottles in the amazing way that you do? Can't find the tutorial anywhere and it would male for great content
Hi. I have a guest that is having a wedding and want me to use dry ice in a cocktail for the affect. I was wondering if you knew the best way to do this.
Where can you find grenadine that is actually a pomegranate syrup? All I can find online or in shops is stuff that tastes and smells like artificial red berries!
Trystan Calverley Just make your own. Combine sugar with pomegranate juice like POM equal parts and bring to a simmer and let reduce for 5 minutes and cool. Simple.
Shouldn't a rickey, as a whole mixed drink category, be just spirit, citrus and soda? Like, without any sugar? By the way, you guys are the absolute best, love your videos!
Jack Patrick Hard Cider? You know the British call apple juice fermented with champagne yeast to be alcoholic cider? Americans call this hard cider, but according to Wikipedia, they call unfiltered pressed apple juice is called (soft) cider. So, which one do you mean? For myself, I like up a mixed drink with 1oz London Dry Gin, 1oz Russian Standard Vodka, 1oz Unfiltered fresh pressed Apple Juice, and quality English Lemonade or Sprite/7-Up. Shake the gin, vodka and apple juice over ice. Pour into an iced highball glass and top with the soda to taste. Serve with a straw. This is makes a dry, crisp, fruity apple cooler that goes down a treat during these hot days. The gin really works with the apple because of the botanicals. The citrus notes are boosted by the lemonade, which in turn balances the sweetness of the apple juice. Yummy. Try it; you might like it.
BigHenFor yeah I guess I meant hard cider, I’m from the UK so cider only really means alcoholic to us and not fresh fruit juice haha but that recipe does sound really good and I will definitely have to try it out! Thank you!
We're planning on adding all recipes in ml and oz to the description plus links to all the ingredients, just need a DeLorean to help us out with a little more time!
Which ones are you gonna try?? The Bitter Summer is really good!
Please do a video where you use galliano (that italian vanilla herb liquor)
THE BONNEVILLE COCKTAIL COLLECTION Wow that is interesting, A summer ago I was experimenting and i end up with a variation of mind julep, instead of cucumber I use grilled pineapple and age mezcal instead of silver.
No one, Summer doesn't exist in Iceland. But I' ll try bitter summer and Rasperry gin ricky

You should try Greek Mastic liquor called Skinos ,you keep it on the freezer. It goes well with vodka , lime juice and garnish with basil leafs
That green swizzle sounds amazing

I need that mezcal julep in my life
I’m looking forward to making this raspberry gin Ricky
Wow! Such great new ideas! Will try the first and third!
But about the Rasperry Gin Ricky: this is actly nearly the same like the clover club? You have a idea to just add a little bit of complexitiy to it?
I‘d try 5-10ml of elderflower liquer
The Clover Club has egg in it which makes it a very different drink!
Great job Chef !🇧🇪
Great drinks. Can you do a video on schnapps based cocktails please?
Could you do a Genever video?
Not only is Genever one of the oldest spirits used in cocktails, it is also a very complex one with loads of varieties (brown genever, or infused with different herbs and spices).

I wanna see a fernet branca video.
Hey Guys ! If I'm squeezing a lime juice in a bottle, and keep it in the fridge, how long can I keep it to do such amazing cocktails ?
Uniøn™ like 3 days max before the flavor changes dramatically. Not many ways to keep it for a long time. Fresh is always best
Tony Yang Thanks for answering me ! 3 days isn't that bad :p
Love from India keep on posting
FINALLY another vid!!
How did you make that summer berry cordial?
We buy from a company called Bottle Green. They do some really good cordials.
Hi. I have a guest that is having a wedding and want me to use dry ice in a cocktail for the affect. I was wondering if you knew the best way to do this.
Be very careful!! Heard some horror stories of people drinking before it's fully dissolved! Our advice - avoid!
THE BONNEVILLE COCKTAIL COLLECTION thank you I was able to pull it off using pebble size pieces. Gave just enough effect and dissolved quickly
Simple.
Whoooo! Another video!
You should do a beer cocktail episode 🍺
Shouldn't a rickey, as a whole mixed drink category, be just spirit, citrus and soda? Like, without any sugar? By the way, you guys are the absolute best, love your videos!
Yes traditionally. Can be a bit sour for most pallets.
Yay new video!
Could you do a video on cocktails which contain cider?

Would you guys please consider including ounces along with your ML measurements you list on the screen? It would make this American fan very happy.
I'll have word with the editor ;-)
We're planning on adding all recipes in ml and oz to the description plus links to all the ingredients, just need a DeLorean to help us out with a little more time!

Yay!!
“I warn you , it’s boozy and a bit weird”
Sold.
I am sir lankan i like it 👍👍👍👍
What size are these icecubes? Do you use 2,5 cm^3 cubes to shake over ice? They seem larger
Yes they're slightly larger. 32mm cubed, from Hoshizaki, who I believe are one of, if not the best ice machine manufacturers in the world.
Will there be another subscriber cocktails video coming up?
Not for a while I'm afraid! When we hit 100k subs we'll do one, so spread the word!
75ml Mezcal? Nice :D
About time guys !
Also love this Chanel
Can you order all the drinks you present in your videos in your bar?
Johannes Wegener they’re not on the menu but sure!
Yep, you can order pretty much anything, if we've got the ingredients.

The slow motion makes that lime juice sexy
Saludos jc
👀
We seeeee you!
You guys should do a video of the worst cocktails of all time...I’m interested to see some of the horrible stuff people came up with in the past!
The Rickey and the Nicholas.
Jägermeister / Cynar / Fernett Video?
First
Decent.
Not Gonna Lie... His Shake Looks Like He’s A Bird.
You sound like Thor...
in that green swizzle, is there much a difference in taste between the overproof white rum and the regular white rum? why mix the two?
Massive difference between them. Try them and you will see what I mean.
