Interesting, so any topwater lure that has more than 1 blade is considered a buzz bait? I’m a saltwater fisherman and just recently started researching freshwater fishing because I’m moving to Central Europe. That’s why I’m experimenting with freshwater lures and I lack the experience with them.
I wonder if you add a thin metal washer between the plastic bead and blade if they would spin more freely. I suspect the plastic on plastic contact is creating a lot of friction. Alternatively, a heavy coat on the plastic might make the friction less.
Thanks for the advice, I guess both the metal washer and the clear coat will reduce friction, maybe if someday I do version 2 of this lure I will work on improving friction.
If I remember correctly back then I had a 1.2mm stainless steel wire that is meant for TIG soldering. Nowadays I’m using 0.8 mm stainless steel safety wire, it’s a lot more flexible and easier to work with.
Really like your vids man keep it up from Ireland 👍👍
Thank you that means a lot
Adding more blades turns it into a buzz bait, so it's no longer a "plopper". It was a fun experiment though.

What kind of wire did you use to assemble the lure?

Hi friend. Put a brass ball, otherwise the propeller will not last long.
Thanks for the tip
