First time fishing for Pike: My first Pike ever in Prague!
This is great! I am going to be re-watching this video hundreds of times while I try and design my own. Will you also be putting this model on printables? I would love to print it out and add it to my collection of your lures.
I’m glad I can help. I usually upload a lure on Printables when I verify it works. Testing lures requires some time and effort, and with my full time job, it’s a bit challenging. I did test it and it didn’t work, and currently working on version 2. Will post a video soon when I’m done testing.
Great video, I have been attempting to make micro crankbaits (like really small) and its proving to be very difficult compared to larger size baits. I have printed out your others lures and they are some of my favorite 3d printed lures to build. You have definitely got the printing technique and designs down very well. i would love to see you attempt a micro lure in the future.
Thank you. Micro lures are very tricky to make because of the weight of the plastic, it's hard to get the right density and requires lot's of trial and error. I am planning on making a micro crankbait (3 cm), my first attempt failed and got busy with other stuff. Hopefully, I will make it happen soon.
@@LureLogicOfficial Agreed! I have also started using a 0.2mm nozzle for these tiny lures and I do get some really nice detail just still haven't figured out how to manage the weight and get the right design on the lip. I have even tried scaling down your models and they come out looking really good but most of them do not wobble correctly 🤣. Still fun to build I just need to tune it. I will definitely be first in line to print your 3cm lure.
Very good job👍 God Bless You man ✝️👍
Freaking good as always!
Thank you 🙏🏻
Great work man!
Thank you 🙏🏻
Nice work and cool ideas, and thanks for sharing!!😃
Thank you for your comment, and tight lines 🎣😁
I loved the stand i can use this at home it will save me some space
That stand is awesome, it motivates me to work more on my lures just so I can use it 😁
New sub here! Great work on the lure! You did an amazing job!👍👍
@@edhuffmanmetaldetecting thank you for your feedback. New videos coming soon
Hi, nice video again. I just bought a copple sand eal immitations for my trip next week to denmark. We wanna try our luck on Sea Trout. ;)
Thank you for the comment and good luck with fishing 🎣
Great video brotha
Unfortunately the links no longer work
Thank you for the comment, I had to remove the files from Printables temporarily because the lures did not work. I did modify the files by moving the weight to a better position but I have been super busy and couldn’t test it yet. If you want the files maybe to test it yourself, join the discord server, I will send them to you there.
Keep you work going. I enjoy watching it. 👍
Nice video, what material do you recomend for this? Nylon?
Thank you, I decided to drop the project before I could figure out what is the best material. It was consuming all my time and money as each prototype required multiple days of printing and assembly. PLA was not good at all, I had success with ABS on Version 1 (Telescopic version) but it was very thick maybe that's why it worked and not because of the material.
@@LureLogicOfficial I see, thanks for the info, I want to try something like this more for the experience, fishing rods need to be strong and REALLY flexible, In my (short) experience PETG CF is stiff but flexible, and Nylon CF is more flexible but lack some stiffness, thanks for the input.
@@maximolopez9135 The thing is, sure Nylon CF and similar materials might be better then PLA for the job, however the rod relies on layer adhesion (at least my rod design) which is very week in most these materials. Even though the sections are printed horizontally, they still connect using a peg and a hole, it's this hole that is breaking. I think SLS printing is a lot better for these kinds of projects and a company wanted to sponsor my video by printing the rod using SLS but the cost was 200+ which is insane for a rod that I don't even know if it will work or not. Even though I won't pay anything, I decided not to waste their money cause who wants to print a 200$ rod.
Czech Casting would have been a better title LOL
We have many big pike lakes in Canada.
A video of champions, well done. I enjoyed every moment.
congrat of home made fishing bait,i m watchin kive channek from you
Is this the P1P?
@@troygatto5666 it’s the P1S, same printer as the P1P just enclosed. Not sure if there’s any other difference between them.
Looking good! I also use blender to make lures. It was fun to see that our process is almost identical, because there is not many tutorials with this specific subject.
Thank you for the feedback, I will try to make tutorials in the future as this video was not meant to be a tutorial
Nice fish mate its not misfish the barbel attack lures often nice cache
Thank you, I was not aware of this but it was pointed out to me by multiple people that Barbel do attack lures. I'm still learning about freshwater fishing.
That zander one could be sold at stores for 20usd easy :D
Thank you 😊
the best lure printing channel here much respect to this guy
Wow, thank you this means a lot
I just don't have the hours to watch unedited live streams, but I did watch a bit of this. These lures are fantastic and work quite well. Great job!
Thank you, I will try my best to upload more videos like this
@@LureLogicOfficial Full disclosure, I normally don't watch fishing videos either. My preference is watching a lure build from start to swim test. But since it's been a while, I watch this one to see what you've been up to.
On the one hand, I don't want you to win, because I wanna win, but on the other hand, your designs are gorgeous and you deserve it.
@@jamaicanlumberjack thank you, it means a lot. However, we are both winners as we are making our own stuff and sharing them with the community. With practice we will make better and better designs.

Thank you, can’t wait to try your lures
Well done ! ❤
@@BrunoGarnier98 Thank you
your lures are looking a lot better lol
@@TurtleRanger-rh9ge Thank you, lots of practice was involved 😁
Hi Can you show creating something like Jackall Chubby ? When the lure with thin back and fat bottom 🙏
Thank you for the comment. I have a discord server where we post project ideas for Future streams. I will post your idea there, you can also join if you have more ideas.
What kind of wire did you use to assemble the lure?
If I remember correctly back then I had a 1.2mm stainless steel wire that is meant for TIG soldering. Nowadays I’m using 0.8 mm stainless steel safety wire, it’s a lot more flexible and easier to work with.
I am waiting for my Bambu lab printer to arrive, I shall follow your steps my friend.
I still remember the moment my Bambulab arrived, you will love it. Just in time as my lure catalog and experience are expanding. Make sure to join the discord server for more updates.
@@LureLogicOfficial Thank you, will do.
As'salamu Alaikum! Cool video, I wonder how good this would be with a CR-30, at it could print most of the rod in one go...I think...with less weak points.
Interesting idea, unfortunately I can’t test this cause I don’t have the CR-30. The main weak point was the connection between the two rod sections and the fact that the plastic was too bendy. Using carbon fiber enforced filament will fix the second issue at the cost of layer adhesion. SLS can be used yo print CF Nylon with exceptional layer adhesive but then the cost is too high for a fishing rod. The only way to fix the first issue is to make a thicker rod and that’s why V1 was a lot better.

Nice work man ! In my opinion the top coat is not a must … even if you hit the lure or scratch it, the colours will be there…I mean on the multi material ones … for the painted version yes , it make sense to top coated it … Anyway… nice work and keep printing 👍 Cheers
Thank you 🙏🏻 The top coat is necessary to prevent water from entering through the tiny crevices.
The discord link didn't work
Thanks for letting me know, will update it
I just tried it and it works, can you try it again discord.gg/YuSU89CCut
@@LureLogicOfficial that one worked thanks
Do you use steel leaders? In the vid you didn't I pike fish a lot and if u don't use a leader then you will break off on their teeth
Here in Czechia there are not many big Pike but I should use one just in case I guess
@@LureLogicOfficial even the tiny ones can take out the line you might get by if ur using some thick line or braid
Nice catch dude! That counts for sure.
u should foil some of you're lures i would use aluminum foil tape and look up some videos on how to do it
Thanks for the tip, I just got an airbrush a couple of days ago and I painted one of my lures with a silver base, it's not as shiny as foil but it does look great.
@@LureLogicOfficial spray on foil doesn't usually work to good but foil tap is way more reflective u an also polish it
F for Hornet lure an ur 3d printed lure aswell ❤
They served us well
Can I get the extra pieces
Thank you for these videos .... it is really going to help me with my lure design !! Awesome work
Glad I could help, any feedback would be appreciated

Nice video! I'm curious to try this printing service and that lure came out great... By any chance can I ask you if you can publish the files? Or at least the screws version? Thanks anyway!
Thank you for the comment, I didn't publish the files to avoid any legal issues with the manufacturer of the lure. Join my discord server, I can send you the files to try it out.
great video, right at the beginning he liked how you set the orientation settings in 3d the same as in fusion 360, that will be of great help, did I work in fusion, but in the end I don't like the fish scales, they are not the same as on thumbnail , I tried in every possible way to get a fish scale in fusion360 over the whole fish but it is impossible with that program, I even came up with a crazy idea how to make them, I made a body from a pipe , the pipe is round and oblong , then I flattened that pipe and I made a square out of it, so from 3d I somehow got 2d, it looked like a sheet of paper, then I tiled with fish scales, and started to form the body of the fish, but where the body narrows near the tail, the program threw out the fish the scale on some parts, I thought that it would simply reduce the scale on that part, I made the scale using a drawing and a 3 point arc, I believe that it can be done in the blender as well, will there be a part 2 video, how did you get that scale that you have on thumbnail?
Thank you for the comment, the scales in the thumbnail were hand sculpted one by one, maybe in next Friday’s stream I can do them the same way.
