You are a nice person Bernd and corporate ladder is not truly meant for good people. Lots of hidden agenda, politics, lies, deceitful tactics are all part of it. We all hav to compromise on values when we are doing job, you can't challenge decisions taken by your seniors, evenn if that is wrong. Ultimately, the decision is made and I feel your decision was right.

Thank you for this, it is a good example to see some authority to stand fot this view and decision. I often hear from my surroundings to stay and accept these things, thatbit is just work and I should be happy to have such a high paying job. This ends with self doubts and prolonging the stay on a wrong place. Sure, for such decision, the one should have a solid savings or some plan what to do. Anyway, thank you again, it helped me realize that my thoughts are correct.

Sadly, it’s not even a company strategy change, but nonsense decisions of a manager who does not understand the service we provide to our customers that are unaligned with the company’s mission. She has been reported to HR and her boss, by many in the department but they seem not to care. The situation is becoming unbearable. I am out!

I have a bit diferent problem. I am manager of sales team. I will only get money when we meet 100% of the target, but my team is not good enought so i have to help them to get like 30%. They then get payed more then me, if i don´t help them i get payed more then them, but i don´t get bosuses. If i help them i get mine bonuses, but they get even higher ones then me. So my question is what should i do coz i don´t want to do there job for them, when in the end they get the money nad not me...
