2018? Guess it's been a truck that's been on the lot for awhile or it was built just before they switched over to the 2019's. Great truck thou! That's my bosses company color.
I bet it's a smooth riding trk...
So small compared to a Freightliner Cascadia but it looks beautiful inside vs the Cascadia. Only things I hate is that it's so much more narrow, there isn't as much storage space, and that gear shifter is not in a good position. I like the freightliner Cascadia but this Peterbilt is nice. Beautiful interior and it looks like it's be smooth. The Cascadia isn't smooth unless there is a ton of weight on the drives. If not, it's a wrap, you'd shake and the tires will spin.
One of the first things you should have mentioned was its the EPIC package.

Yes. We can do that!

On the 579 for the smart shift transmission, can you get the controls on the wheel using a right side lever arm instead of the box hanging off the dash? Is there room on the passenger side for a APU? Does the refrigerator only cool when the engine is running? If you have a APU will the refrigerator cool with the APU running and the engine off? Does it come with a TV antenna mounted in the roof? Satellite dome? What options are there for the TV antenna? Can you get slightly longer slide rails for the 5th wheel?
You cannot get the controls on the wheel. They are on the RH stalk of the steering column or off of the dash.
There is room for an APU.
Fridge will run regardless, but it will drain batteries!

I'm surprised it doesn't have a Cummins X15
Both the Cummins X15 and the PACCAR MX-13 are doing very well. The MX is about 500lbs. lighter and gets a little better fuel mileage. Either one is an excellent choice.

Wrong the MX 13 a good motor try telling that to the Pime inc. lease and lease purchase drivers. This power plant seems to have many sensor and other electronic issues that keep it at the repair shop. Notice I said at the repair shop not in the repair shop. Getting it into the shop can take a week or longer because of all the other MX13 waiting for repairs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The PACCAR engine is actually doing very well now. It's turned into a very good reliable motor.
