Thank you bro. I have a frieghtliner cascadia that was doing the same thing right after switching out my starter God Bless and much love. Prayers for peace and protection through our suffering 🙏
damn. appreciate the video. so that usually means need new batteries ? i don’t remember seeing that lvd box near my batteries tho ? it just happened 2 hours ago. usually i would disconnect the battery terminals and put back on and it start right up. not today. had call mechanic for a jump. MINE SAYS. “low voltage disconnect. DISCONNECT THE LOAD OR START ENGINE. “ batteries are few years old. so replace them you think ?
The problem you was having was that those wires where grounding out causing the 50amp fuse to blow which is what it's supposed to to keep the batteries from blowing up it's nothing to do with Lvd it's 1 complete circuit and if the circuit is not complete everything is fales to work properly.
My truck doesn’t give me the LVD warnings unless it has been sitting for a few hours. Is that normal? In this video, were you getting the LVD warning while it was running?
I just went through this I checked my alt and it was only putting 10.5 out and my Batts were old so I replaced those. The bearings on the alt were shot it was making all kinds of noise
