      You just put my feelings into words! I also feel bad for being "the feminine one" in those situations, and I feel bad for all the attention I get for actually good looks. So I've spent years and years trying to look average or rather "worse", so no girls/woman would feel angry about me being more feminine and no boys/men would feel like desiring me, especially physically. It's easier when nobody notices you. These videos like hers give me confidence to be who I am! No more breast hiding posture, more cute dresses in summer, here I am.

      @@WarriorOfStateOfMind it's amazingly horrifying seeing that are women who put other women down for literally anything. I've always have noticed the attention that I attract from other woman because the way I look and carry myself. I'm 5'9, I have ridiculous long legs and long neck and because my regular outfits are elegant/formal (I work in an office, gracious God) thrust me I drag a lot of attention in a ridiculous manner.

      Idk I’m female in the military and we still find ways to be lady like and pamper ourselves when we are serving. Not to mention we still have times where we can dress in civilians at which time we can be as traditional and feminine as we want. We were making ladies pamper nights, doing natural make up routines, haircut nights, mani pedi nights, etc. even on deployment. It must not always be the case to be able to find other feminine females in your unit. It might matter the MOS too. I’m a medic which traditionally was one of the first jobs for females in the military (see hero nurse Clara Barton). There were lots of very feminine women in my AIT and in the medic sections of the units I was attached to. But many of us are very proud to be both feminine and heroines.

      About loving your seat... Someone can have an invisible disability and being looked down is just... Awful. Some won't even dare to ask for their seat (that they more than need !) because they are afraid of being looked down upon (or have to justify themselves, a thing they maybe don't want do to, which is normal. Plus the justification is rarely listened to if the disability is really not visible). So... I mean of course some are perfectly able and just lazy and/or inconsiderate and that should not be normal. But you never know... Maybe the person have a disability (and she does not want to scream it in public and/or be looked down).

    • @sunbalanced
      @sunbalanced 5 ปีที่แล้ว +32

      Try to keep unnecessary confrontation at a minimum and practice being tolerant and patient towards others. If you become agitated towards someone who is a stranger, do not raise your voice and try to be respectful as much as possible while you speak to them about their behaviour. If they do not listen to you, at least you will be calling out their bad behaviour in public with grace and hopefully the people around you will notice and appreciate you more. After all not everyone is brave enough to speak up in these sort of situations. I feel like composure is very important to being ladylike. If you are angry at your loved-ones try to keep it out of public eye as much as you can. I am not an expert but those i feel like are a few things one can influence in their behaviour.

      First of all, don't shallow your anger, because if you do you run the risk of exploding with rage. And rage can make you do things you'll regret. Do something with your anger, express it or do something about it. If you're constantly angry over little things it's probably because you're in a situation that makes you feel powerless, figure out why and ask yourself am I really powerless? Sometimes walking away it's enough, sometimes it's more serious idk it depends

    I'm a man Mrs. Midwest who appreciates this insight. I find your advice interesting because of the similarities (such as how to show and / or improve your self - worth, confidence, with your posture, etc.) & contrasts (such as how to sit) - depending of course, on the context - be it, masculine or feminine - or both. So, some things you spoke about I take for granted & others could always improve - if I'm not already conscious of & mastered those things that are shared with the feminine (mentioned above) & being a man, or masculine.

    • @michaelmarinko676
      @michaelmarinko676 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Forgot to say hello from Plano, Texas (suburb of Dallas, central southern USA) I also noticed ladylike behavior is wise to NOT follow The Four Rules Of Stupid (because women, children & the elderly are part of a vulnerable population - NOTE: That's NOT meant to be a negative - it's just one of the facts of life) 4 Rules Of Stupid are - Going to stupid places - at stupid times - with stupid people - doing stupid things. Thank you so much for your input, or insight.

    Thank you, Caitlyn, for another great video. I would love to get your opinion on social media ladylike ettiquette. Would you do a video on this topic? It came to mind when you mentioned not getting drunk around strangers. I never drink to excess, ever. In this age of social media, even drinking excessively with friends can get you posted on their instagram account, and the whole world gets to see your behaviour! My daughters know FAR more about peers' (not friends, just classmates) private lives than I ever did at their age!

    • @amandazplace5663
      @amandazplace5663 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @She’s so Lucky those are great tips! Yes, you have to be very careful who you trust on social media. Even private accounts, my daughters have said their peers will allow them to follow bc they are more interested in getting followers than maintaining their privacy. And as a landlord who rents to young people, I absolutely look at social media accounts as part of my decision as to whether to rent to someone or not.

    I loved this video very much 💛💛💛 but for me the thing is that I always mess up the opportunity to make a feminine confident first impression. instead, I act childish, obnoxious, overly loud and TOO comfortable on the first day of meeting people. And now i feel like that it’s too late to change they way i act. Like it’s for nothing since everyone already thinks that I’m that obnoxious annoying girl. But I’m gonna try anyways since it’s gonna help me in the long run i guess. I’m almost 20 so I guess it’s better late than sorry. Anyways, thank you so much for sharing a video like this!!!!! May God bless you 🙏🏻

Another big thing related to that is just following the laws in general.
