1. Keep your space tidy 2. Nurture the things in your life 3. Show generous affection to your man (words and actions) 4. Invest in your hobbies and personal growth 5. Tap into a "child-like" joy / innocence / merriment. Seek joy in your life 6. Present yourself as feminine (fashion) 7. Follow feminine content creators
I'm shocked to hear that you are not naturally drawn to children or nurturing. Not in a negative way but it just shows how much power we have over who we decide to be. Very encouraging.
Yes! I feel like a lot of aspects of femininity come easy to me, and marriage is truly when I’ve come into my own element, but I’m kind of awkward with children. I love middle school age and teens, but I’ve always struggled with babies! I think your point is so true: we can all grow and choose the direction we want to go!! 😍☺️❤️
I was the same way before having my own children. Now I love babies and I talk to them whenever I see them. Motherhood changes you so much if you allow it.
About the "childish" thing: I used to be (and act) very innocent, I married when I was 19 and my husband thought it was super cute. After I had my first son, it kind of stopped, as if the woman inside of me diesd to bring out the mother, the one who takes care of everything etc, and I felt one day that I can be a harsh person, perfectionist, and that was wearing me out, also my marriage was suffering. So just like you said, I started exercising this part of me again (without telling my husband of course) and one day he had tears on his face, telling me how he felt like our relationship was back as it were before. Hearing you talk about it is unreal, and you have no idea how important this is for me. If you're a woman that feels comfortable with this, please give it a go. It's truly amazing.
Krähe ' that is soooo beautiful to read! Thank you for sharing your story with all of us 🌸💛 My aunt actually mentioned something similar after I had been pressing into childlike whimsy and innocent. She said that she felt she had “her Caitlin” back 🥳💜 so happy for you and I really hope others feel inspired by your story my love! Blessings to you 💗☺️
1- Keep your space clean. 2- Taking care of the things you love. (Nurture things around you) => showing tender care 3- showing generous affection to your man 4- Investing in your hobbies and personal growth. 5- Having innocent/childish joy. 6- Feminine clothes/colors/accessories. 7- Follow feminine content creators.
'You don't have to turn every single talent or hobby you have into a side hustle - it's okay just to enjoy it!' Every single one of your videos has a little gem of advice that I really, truly appreciate and provides a moment of peace in what has been a crazy life. Thank you so much for continuing to share; this is one of my favourite channels and I am extremely grateful to have found it. :)
When I started realizing that my personality tends to be more feminine, I felt lost. I didn't know what to do, how to improve and I really thought I was 'crazy' 😂 Now, with you and our feminine community, I feel like I now belong somewhere. Thank you thank you thank you ❤️ Love from Egypt ❤️
I want to be more feminine but I feel like it's hard while working a full time job. Am I just making excuses? When I get home from work I have plans to dry brush, exfoliate, oil pull, give myself a mani/pedi, etc. But I'm in zombie mode and can barely move after work. I have just enough energy to keep my home tidy and organized, but that's about it. Maybe I should start with cleaning up my diet so I can get more natural energy?
Diet is a great place to start as just a shot in the dark! Do your research first though because you don't want to make things worse by cutting calories or something like that. Also, it doesn't need to be labeled as making excuses, in reality it's just the context for or system to facilitate that behavior/feeling you want hasn't been set, a bit more self compassion and a perspective of self nurturing is what's needed so that you can allow yourself the space to do those things that rejuvenate you. You don't need to blame yourself or shame yourself into doing those things 🌺
Cutting out sugar for 30 days was a huge eye opener for me. I couldn't believe how much sugar affects my emotions and energy. I definitely think changing your diet is a great place to start. ☺️
Have you heard about the Fly Lady method? I use it to keep my home tidy and under control while working full time outside the home and have enough energy left to be feminine.
Is there anyway you can have your girl time in your morning with yourself before work? I love doing this and especially because dry brushing is best before a shower not sure when you shower but I do in the mornings and oil pulling is also best done in the morning. I work full time but honestly having those couple hours in the morning is really nice. Plus I find I am even more feminine going to work.
My mother was never one to clean and still isn't to this day. I remember as a kid I'd go to my friend's and family's houses that were so nice and clean. It helped me feel so comfortable. When I got older I vowed to myself to always keep a clean house. It took some work to get certain habits but it's worth it. And it works wonders if you struggle with general anxiety. It's not a cure but it will help you manage it better. Btw, a good way to start forming these habits is making your bed, without fail, everyday. It sounds ridiculous but it works
I wasn't drawn to being a mother or being a nurturing person but let me tell ya, when it is your own child it is 100% different! There is no love like the love for your children. And the nurturing side of me came out with a force like no other haha. I can't wait for you to start having kids and making kid videos! Also I appreciate these feminine videos because now that I have toddlers and babies it's so easy for me to forget to be feminine and not wear sweat pants everyday 🤦♀️
Thank you for the encouragement!! I’ve always been nervous about when I have kids, that I won’t be as good a mother as the kind of girls who grew up addicted to babysitting and obsessed with tiny kids. I’m not like that, but from everything I’ve heard, people say it’s different when it’s your own babies, just like you said! Hopefully it’s true 😩💛❤️ also, good job for pursuing your femininity even amidst this intense time in your life! 💓💗
Mrs Midwest I feel the same way!! I had to grow to love babies, I didn’t get a whole ton of time with babies growing up but I always wished I did so by the time I have kids I’ll be more prepared. Well I try to squeeze in time to see my little cousins as often as possible but I still don’t get my desired time with them. I just hope when I finally have kids I won’t have postpartum depression.
I come from a totally different culture where children and their parents share a very...um positive kind of CO-dependent relationship. Is it true that in the West once you turn 18 the relationship between parents and child becomes weaker? Like partners assume greater importance in someone’s life than their parents?
I'm the same way. Literally everybody except my partner thought I was gonna be a bad mom and are routinely shocked when they find out how in love with my little girl I am. I've never liked kids and I don't still really. I just love my own such an insane amount.
@@MrsMidwest Looking forward to it! Also, if you're looking for feminine and Christian reads, I'd be happy to send you a free Ebook of my novel, just published last year :). My author name is Cadence McManimon, book is "Name Unspoken"!
I really want to be more feminine, I started buying clothes that look less casual, I'm trying to act more mature and be kind and elegant, but it also seems like girls around me (in high school) are getting jealous and avoiding me.. which is so frustrating. How do I deal with backlash when it comes to becoming more feminine and kind? (This is something I struggle with bc I've always been 'innocent' and people just avoid me because they assume that I'm uptight and I think I'm all that.)
There will always be people who are jealous but remember you are like a light shining brightly to all around you. You are probably an inspiration to many girls who want to be like you.
One thing I learned in life is how femininity is intimidating; a feminine woman, when around other women, is automatically putting herself in superior position to the other girls. They feel inferior, but they don't realize it, and they might not like you because of that. When a feminine woman is kind and loving and innocent, she becomes admired and untouchable, and people who antagonize a feminine kind woman are seeing as "monsters" (why don't you like her? She's so nice, what's wrong with you?) (sorry if I didn't convey the message properly, English is not my strongest language haha)
I was in the same situation, I just got even kinder and whatnot and people stopped avoiding me as they realized that there's no reason to avoid me, if anything there was more reason to be close with me than avoid me. With that said, just keep getting better and better and people will soon be quite drawn to you
I say that you shouldn’t let them affect how you live your life, be generous and kind to them, allow them to get comfortable around you, but keep boundaries and don’t tolerate cruel people! Proud of you for making this journey. High school is tough. Sometimes just having one or two friends who accept you for you is totally enough 🌸💜🙂
you’re such a ray of sunshine and positivity amid the (imo) overly self-deprecating humor that’s popular right now. even when it’s funny, it makes me sad when girls are down on themselves to be ~relatable~. i’m going to give this a listen while i run my errands 💘🛒🛍
Ren Awh thank you!! Good job being productive today 💜💞💞 yes I don’t like overly self deprecating humor either... lift yourself up ladies! Dignity and humor at the same time 🥳😊💛
Just came here to spread love. Another girl was talking trash about you on another feminine channel and I was actually hurt like someone was talking about one of my friends. We dont need to tear down another woman to like another. There's room for everyone! Love ya Caitlin 💕
Hi Caitlin 🌸💕 I’m Mathilde. I hope my message doesn’t seem weird to you. I first heard about you through hate videos but I wanted to make my own opinion. And what a surprise! I found a kind, adorable, smart woman ❤️. I was raised in an atheist and feminist family and the first videos I saw about you, told me that you were intolerant but it’s the opposite! I didn’t expect to have so many advice on sustainable and eco friendly fashion 👗♻️ I’ve always tried to have a feminine style but I get so much more compliments since I watch your videos 🥰Your videos are so helpful ! and feminist in their own way since you help women bloom I’m glad I didn’t stop on the first videos I saw of you. I feel like even if we don’t have the same religion or some opinions, I feel welcome on your channel . I hope this kind of mean videos doesn’t affect you too much. Thank you for being you, you’re so important ❤️😘🇫🇷
I found her in a hate video too, but in the back of my head her channel seemed more advice-oriented for women seeking to be feminine and a vlog of her personal life rather than a channel meant to spout her beliefs, which was confirmed with further investigation. As much as others may say in general that I may be the opposite of her (career-oriented rather than family-oriented, nonreligious), I find her advice refreshingly inclusive.
I LOOOOOVE how you said you said that you dont have to turn your hobbies into a side hustle.. that has been a struggle of mine when it comes to sewing and jewelry making... Thank you for your amazing videos :)
Last semester I thought to myself that it's not worth it dressing/glam-up for uni because I can do that in my freetime. Honestly, I was just too lazy to wake up a bit earlier to get ready. This semester I decided to always leave the house with lipstick, looking polished, jewelry, perfume, nice outfit and nice hair. It has made SUCH a difference! I am way more confident, I'm more active in class because I feel like I'm more awake and even the people around me notice it. The other day some random guy greeted me in the hall. so yes!!! 100% agree! I would've never guessed how my appearance could change my whole being.
I'm a new Christian, finally finding my way after new age spirituality and atheism. I just had to comment that about 6 months ago, I wrote and spoke and thought about how I wanted "joy" in my life. That exact word. I had already found contentment, gratitude, achieved goals and had good relationships, but never really felt joyful. I've recently become extremely interested in Christianity, after a lifetime of disbelief...Hearing you say "joy is a fruit of the spirit" was such an amazing coincidence, I think I'm on the right path. 🌺
Paige C yeah I feel like I followed the wrong freaking people and it through me completely off track to the way I was. You do things to have friends and be accepted but it's not always the best things. I nearly ruined my whole image......walking from those group of friends was the best thing I could do.
I'm a guy and i love this channel because it's so refreshing to see women actually being their beautiful feminine selves. It even makes me want to be more masculine.
Kaitlyn I am so thankful for all your content. It's been a hard week two of my favorite TH-camrs just came out as agnostic they are in my prayers. But I thought of the rest of you guys on TH-cam who profess faith I pray for you all. I pray that no matter what changes this channel goes through that your faith will not waiver. I am so thankful where God has put you I pray he surrounds you with people that will lift you up support each other at the body of Christ.
Your mention of loving, but not smothering your partner, would be a great new video idea I'd love to see! 'How to nurture your SO without smothering them'. Also maybe, how to incorporate homemaker practices WITHOUT unintentionally acting like a Mother to your SO!
I relate so much to everything you talk about. From religious standpoints to embracing who you are as a woman in a modern world. I feel so uplifted and inspired after every one of your videos. ❤️
Mrs Midwest you’re absolutely welcome my friend, it makes me really happy to hear you’re doing quite well!! thanks so much, I’m just trying to relax and have a good spring break! 🥳💗💞
Ahh yes! I have always been told to not copy others and be creative in my own way ...but I always struggled because I didn't think I was allowed to be inspired by anything! Since starting watching TH-cam and following people whose fashion and lifestyles I connect with I have felt like I finally have direction in presenting myself and self discovery. Thankyou for your videos as always Caitlin! xoxo
I have really begun to love beautifying me and my man's house again ♥️ welcoming femininity back in my life has been so wonderful, thanks for the inspiration
I would love to see a video of you speaking about your favorite feminine women in social media like you touched on in this video! There is always more room for refreshing, creative female perspectives😆😍
Great advice for being feminine. I love how unique and flavorful feminine energy and femininity is and women from different walks of life make it their own. I was raised in a messy home and therefore it was very important to me to keep a clean and tidy home for my own family. ❤️
You have no idea how much you reassured me. I was so shocked when you said you were not naturally a baby person 😱. I never used to like kids before and I was kind of fearful that I wouldn’t know how to take care of them. But I love how you spoke of being nurturing as a skill. Wow so inspiring I feel so much better. Thank you ❤️🌸🌸❤️
Those days I often leave coments below your videos, but I have to do it again. You are so inspiring, like a life guru, you give me hope, you actually explain to me some things about life, that I was thinking about for mounths and can not solve tham and choose the right path for me. You helping me to building my virtues, also learn some new and using them, but alsoto get rid off my bad habits and behavior. It is a process and it is not always easy, but I trying. You help people to work on things that is really metter, not some selfish, egotistical and superficial quallities developing. You are great and just keep being you. Thank you for 100 times.
Hello I’m new subscriber and I love being feminine but I honestly want to be more feminine but it’s nice to meet other women who’re striving to be the same! I’m taking the steps to becoming more lady like. Thank you for this dear!
9:30 you're very gracious! 😊 I've been presenting slightly more feminine and I've noticed men being more chivalrous. I always remind myself to say thank you and look them in the eye. I feel I've an innocent aura people think I'm 3-6 years younger and it has some truth. Greetings from 🇵🇪
I was the EXACT same way with children all the way up until the day I gave birth. I had to learn from the nurses how to hold an infant in the hospital!! No need to feel pressured to prepare. The moment I heard him cry, without even seeing him yet, loving him was the easiest thing in the world. Looking forward to watching your motherhood journey one day 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you! Sometimes I feel scared to embrace the true importance I feel for my femininity but you always remind me to not be ashamed of who I am and I truly appreciate what you’re doing and the difference you’re making in our world!
Your videos have been so helpful for me! I’m a 17 year old girl who’s the only non boy crazy girl in my friend group (which is something I hate being connected to) so for a long time I disconnected from all things girly in fear of being connecting to the whole girly boy crazy trope. Your channel has totally changed my POV and realizing that being feminine does not equal being girly has completely changed my outlook. Thank you so much, keep up the awesome work💕💕
Hey Caitlin, I hope you find my comment and find joy in it as well! I discovered your channel about 2 weeks ago, and I realized I've been on the same journey of growing in my femininity and my faith. Caring for others has been something really important to me and over the last 2 years I created programs in my school that teach students with mental disabilities water safety skills since I live close to Lake Michigan and that 18-24 age group is very vulnerable to accidents. I also created a formal dress drive so that everyone can feel beautiful at events like prom. Now I'm going into nursing school and really looking forward to that season in my life and your videos are helping me focus on the caring and nurturing side of me that has been so important while I've been growing into a young woman and becoming in touch with my love and my joy for God and the beautiful life He has given me. Anyway, I really wanted to thank you because your videos are really inspiring me to take some time to clean and beautify my space while I've been in self quarantine! Blessings to you and your husband and I'm praying that you stay happy and healthy during this time!
Megan McEwan thank you!! I got it from the girl’s section at JC Penny!! In my pursuit for more color, I’ve had to raid the little girl sections of the department store 🤪😅😅 not going to make a habit of it, but I could not resist this sweater 💓💛
Thank you! It was a Lovely video ! Something similar to the 7th tip was very good for me. I dont personally spend much time on the socials but I watch a lot of cinema ! So I tried to include more and more movies or shows with feminine features or characters . Especially more romance, adventure and history (with all the beautiful costumes omg) . Loving it so far ♡ So many animated movies, Rom coms and some Korean and Turkish shows as well ! Thank you again! Love from Morocco 🌷
Thank you !!! I was so afraid about the innocent joy ! This such a big part of my personnality and I thaught I will not be able to keep it as I'm growing. (Sorry if I'm mistakes I'm french ) Gros bisous!
Tiffany Jetter Awh thank you!! I will be recording one this week for 2 weeks from today :):) I was going to do one of my recent ski trip, but halfway through I decided to give up on it and just enjoy the vacation 😆😊 VLOG coming on the 18th of March! 💗💜💗
I was never drawn to children, and vice versa. But ever since I had my own children , I can now easily talk to my nieces and nephews or other children and vice versa. My nuture def came out when I become a mother, and I honestly became a better wife too. I was already a good wife, such as maintaining the house, and taking care of my husband but I became even better ones I learned to nurture. Lol my sister call me the viejita in the family because I have that natural nurture and manners. Hahaha I love it!
It’s so wonderful to see advice on femininity, I’m so thankful for you and for this platform, I think that if it wasn’t for all of the feminine creators I wouldn’t have gotten in touch with my femininity so thank you for giving this wonderful advice 🥰💗
Thank you so much for acknowledging that not every feminine woman feels drawn toward children or is a baby person! It wasn't until I started teaching that I really felt like a nurturing presence, and even now it takes work and patience to give that energy every day.
Bless you Mrs Midwest! Ive been watching TH-cam content creators for years now but you are the only one i have ever put the notification bell on for! So thank you for being amazing and spreading the message. I hope you and your husband have an amazing week until we see you next time!
My goodness, i came back here like 2 months later and your channel grew from 30/40 ish thousand to 144K, well im probably the last to congratulate you but congrats. Glad to be part of the before 100k fam!
Hi there, dear one! As you were speaking on one of these points, a thought came to me: Could you do a video on your favorite feminine content creators and/or favorite homemaking content creators. Whether that is instagram, pinterest, youtube, etc. I know there is a whole community out there, but your content is truly the only one of its kind that I personally follow so far. Would love to surround myself with feminine content creators, and I would love to know your personal favorites since you are my personal favorite! Thank you, friend. God bless :)
I absolutely LOVED what you said about femininity looking different on everyone!! When I was little I hated the whole idea of being feminine because I guess some part of me thought that in order to pursue my dreams I have to be strong "like a man"...whatever that means. But for me it was so encouraging when you said that each one of us can pursue femininity in our own way, in our own personality and if we try copying someone else we will feel very uncomfortable. When looking at femininity I thought I had to give up on the things i like or the way i am...and looking at other feminine women and comparing myself to them or seeing how they do things and what they like, I would feel so unhappy and uncomfortable (even weak) when i tried to apply their way of pursuing femininity into my personality and who God made me to be. I am sooo thankful that God creates so much variety and personality in each of us differently. I am trying to dig deep in my identity in Christ to see who He made me be as a woman and not try to become someone I'm not!
I really appreciate your transparency. I had no idea that you were not neat, nurturing and not drawn to children. I like what you said about being towards your husband... I think whi you listen and watch in YT soeaks volumes. I think fir about a year now I too have been tapping into channels that speak of positive femininity. Thank you !! Also.. I need maybe a video on declutering ideas.. Getting rid of stuff no longer needed and maybe collections I have. I do like to donate in the spring but in a few years (2-5) would like to move.. (?) So preparing now possibly !!! Praise the Lord my beautiful sister in Jesus Christ. To God be the Glory !!!!! 🌸🍃💗🍃🌸
Also check out the YT channel Inspired by Nikki! She always wears the most beautiful dresses while homemaking, and rn she has series on feminine allure and feminine cleaning! Thanks for the advice and continuing to promote traditional femininity, Kaitlyn! ❤
Having a clean clutter free home have always been very calming for me. Wearing color is also a great way to be more feminine. It brightens your countenance and that’s a great thing. Thanks for sharing!🙏👍
Do you have any tips on how to balance nurturing with self care? I find when I get really into the swing of nurturing those around me, I can really ignore my own warning signs and almost self-sacrifice too much (completely neglect my own needs and desires). Have you ever experienced this and/or have any practical tips? Love your channel :)
Change your mind on how you view your giving of your time and self and energy. It isn’t “self” OR “others”, it’s both. It’s fluid. If you bring a plate of cookies to a neighbor, sit down with them and enjoy a cookie with them. (I’m a mom so I’m going to give mom examples) If you took on carpooling your children’s friends in the morning, spend time enjoying finding out who your children like to spend their time with, and then listen to your favorite music on the drive home. Also, wake up earlier than the family and do your self care before the demands of the day hit. And when kids want a million things from your right NOW, I say “after I do xyz, then I can.” Or “I can only do one thing at a time.” With self care, i follow the flylady system with Flylady Kat. Tuesdays are self care/free days. So if someone asks you to do something and it’s a Tuesday (my free day) and I don’t want to, I say “I’m so sorry but I won’t be able to do that this time” and then I don’t give a reason bc I don’t need to.
I struggle with maturity. I’m 21 and I often joke childishly and overshare when I’m nervous or uncomfortable. I’ve grown up as the sort of chubby funny girl and I’m struggling to break out of that mold.
What lipstick are you wearing? It’s so pretty. I’m so glad you mentioned that you’re not naturally drawn to children because I want a family someday but I don’t know how to talk to/connect with kids. This gives me hope that the mothering side of me is somewhere inside me.
I'm so glad I've found your videos. Please forgive me for posting comments all over your videos. They've given me a purpose that the culture nowadays have suppressed. I'm finding a new joy and desire to learn how to cook, clean, and take care of a house. I'm much happier and energetic at work now, and I'm smiling much more.
You are inspiring me so much!❤️ we have so many ideals in common and I love to hear you speak on so many topics that relate to the feminine woman, homemaker, etc. Much love!💕💕
I would love to see more vlogs, what I eat in a day/ favorite recipe videos, and maybe even a video about your wardrobe! I love getting to know more about my favorite you tubers 😊
This is an amazing video and I absolutely love your channel! Could you possibly do a video for brides and wives to be 🙏🙏🙏 I'm 21 and will be getting married this summer after my graduation I have so many fears over this new " role " I have to step into, how to do it right without losing yourself because of various social expectations. I'm worried about changes this brings to friendships I have at the moment and the general changes that come with this process of growing up and begining a new chapter in your life. All of the married women in my life are older ladies so I feel like I don't relate to their experiences as much :') Anyways ,keep doing your great work ,you are a role model for so many young women God bless you ❤️❤️❤️
Girl I loved this video! I saw it pop up on my feed and had to wait until workout time to watch and it was so hard to stick to that rule 🤣 Thank you for helping me enjoy my workouts more, keep up the wonderful content ma'am! 🥰
Another wonderful video. I’m still really trying to work on my femininity. I have come a long way, but I still feel like i have a few “Rough edges” i need to work out.
Thank you so much for all these wonderful points, this video has shown me how far I have come along on my feminine journey. I need to get more involved in hobbies and channeling my merriment. c:
Hey Mrs. Midwest! I used to wonder what it was that made me a woman - it seems like there were ways that a boy becomes a man I had observed: responsibility, growth, physical attributes, and possibly certain coming-of-age rituals. I used to ask when I would "become" a woman and stop being a girl. Watching your videos gives me peace and many great answers to this question: Maturity, wisdom, kindness, responsibility and caring. These are things that transcend us from girlhood and womanhood.
Can you make a video about modest/feminine bathing suits? Also, I love your videos and have been a subscriber since you’ve had 18k subscribers, and I love knowing that your amazing channel has grown so much!
Can you talk about over nurturing men who don’t appreciate you. I tend to find myself in this position over and over where I spend a lot of time nurturing a man to the point where I end up cooking, cleaning for him as well as working to make a living and he just goes to work and comes home and sits on his computer playing video games. He will get super comfortable then stop appreciating me or doing anything for me. This causes me to get really irritable, hate doing chores and ends up with me doing the bare minimum hoping he will stop being a man child only for him to get mad at me because I’m “not the same woman I was.” Ignoring the fact that he’s changed. How do I navigate this in a situation where I do need to work for a living.
I am currently working on becoming a tidy person. I was always the one with clothing everywhere and would get to dishes later. I've done some big cleanings and notice it is so much cleaner now when I just pick up the little things. I haven't needed to do the bigger cleanings in so long.
Caitlin, I really want to get into sewing as I feel it's a very feminine hobby. (As well as an opportunity for modest and fun floral dresses). Unfortunately I have no people in my life who sew. Can you make a video about what you see//what tools you have and how to get into it? Thank you. You're a real inspiration for discovering my femininity.
I’ve been following ur account a few months ago and I love ur message ! u always are so positive and feminine and it is very inspiring. i love ur channel🤍 (also, u should write a book ! I would definitely read it)
Which I appreciate the most about this channel is that it is different from the traditional feminist way of being a woman, but she seems to feel really good about her development, it has to be encuraged. Each woman has the right to decide who she wants to be.
1. Keep your space tidy
2. Nurture the things in your life
3. Show generous affection to your man (words and actions)
4. Invest in your hobbies and personal growth
5. Tap into a "child-like" joy / innocence / merriment. Seek joy in your life
6. Present yourself as feminine (fashion)
7. Follow feminine content creators
I'm shocked to hear that you are not naturally drawn to children or nurturing. Not in a negative way but it just shows how much power we have over who we decide to be. Very encouraging.
This!
It's so reassuring to hear that because I feel the same way! I want to be more nurturing but I end up over disciplining children! 😣
@@MrsMidwest I feel the same way! I think that's why I'm more ok with adopting from the foster care system where the children tend to be older
Thank you for sharing your story with all of us 🌸💛
My aunt actually mentioned something similar after I had been pressing into childlike whimsy and innocent. She said that she felt she had “her Caitlin” back 🥳💜 so happy for you and I really hope others feel inspired by your story my love! Blessings to you 💗☺️
This story almost made me tear up, I'm happy for you both 😊
like seriously? ppl my family n ex told me stop acting like a kid..but thats shat makes me happy n me...thanks for sharing
Your comment brought tears in my eyes, bless you, bless your family and your beautiful marriage 🙏🏽💖
Hina B. Childlike is different from childish.. it is important how we present ourselves..childlike or childish..
1- Keep your space clean.
2- Taking care of the things you love. (Nurture things around you) => showing tender care
3- showing generous affection to your man

Oh, bless you.
Thank you! 🤗
thank you! You beautiful person❤️😭
A female retelling of a Jordan Peterson book... Intresting.
Thank you thank you thank you ❤️
Love from Egypt ❤️
Heyyy 😍😍😍 I am from Egypt tooo 😘😘😘
@@NadineAmer1 hey ya amar 😸
I have the same problem. I am exhausted, get home late, and can barely handle to shower and eat.
Tony Robbins called that vibrancy Radiance. And as a man, if we see a woman shining with radiance is sooooo captivating
Can you do a video on feminine qualities contrasted with their masculine counterparts? Your comment on nurturing versus protecting piqued my interest!
Yes!
Ooo fun idea!! I shall write this down :):)
As long as you're still being yourself, it should pass. Sometimes it just shocks people and takes a little while to get used to
One thing I learned in life is how femininity is intimidating; a feminine woman, when around other women, is automatically putting herself in superior position to the other girls.
Hi Caitlin 🌸💕
I’m Mathilde.
I didn’t expect to have so many advice on sustainable and eco friendly fashion 👗♻️
I’ve always tried to have a feminine style but I get so much more compliments since I watch your videos 🥰Your videos are so helpful ! and feminist in their own way since you help women bloom
I’m glad I didn’t stop on the first videos I saw of you. I feel like even if we don’t have the same religion or some opinions, I feel welcome on your channel . I hope this kind of mean videos doesn’t affect you too much. Thank you for being you, you’re so important ❤️😘🇫🇷
This is such a lovely and kind comment 😊
This channel has taught me so much, and I am growing everyday in my femininity ❤
Samantha Inkley how amazing!! It’s so fun to grow and discover femininity 😊💛💗
@C J amen!
I love this channel. Mrs.Midwest is who I needed when I first started college. Maybe then I would've gotten mixed up with the wrong crowd.
I relate to that so much 👏🏻
Paige C yeah I feel like I followed the wrong freaking people and it through me completely off track to the way I was.
Honest truth: I watch all of your videos secretly hoping "She's gonna burst out into a song and summon the woodland animals any minute now." Lol
Your mention of loving, but not smothering your partner, would be a great new video idea I'd love to see! 'How to nurture your SO without smothering them'. Also maybe, how to incorporate homemaker practices WITHOUT unintentionally acting like a Mother to your SO!
Ooh I like this!
I relate so much to everything you talk about. From religious standpoints to embracing who you are as a woman in a modern world. I feel so uplifted and inspired after every one of your videos. ❤️
It’s automatically an amazing day when you upload new videos!! I hope you’re having a marvelous week 💜🥰
Admir Barucija thank you my friend!! I actually am having a great week thank you! Hope you are too 🥳💗💞
Mrs Midwest you’re absolutely welcome my friend, it makes me really happy to hear you’re doing quite well!! thanks so much, I’m just trying to relax and have a good spring break! 🥳💗💞
Ahh yes! I have always been told to not copy others and be creative in my own way ...but I always struggled because I didn't think I was allowed to be inspired by anything! Since starting watching TH-cam and following people whose fashion and lifestyles I connect with I have felt like I finally have direction in presenting myself and self discovery. Thankyou for your videos as always Caitlin! xoxo
Hi I'm from Pakistan...u r doing really great.guiding us in a very sweet and inspiring way....may u succeed in ur life more and more.
I like the fact that you are so positive and include scripture in your videos as a pastors kid I really respect that. ☺️👏
You helping me to building my virtues, also learn some new and using them, but alsoto get rid off my
bad habits and behavior. It is a process and it is not always easy, but I trying. You help people to work on things that is really metter, not some
selfish, egotistical and superficial quallities developing. You are great and just keep being you. Thank you for 100 times.
Hello I’m new subscriber and I love being feminine but I honestly want to be more feminine but it’s nice to meet other women who’re striving to be the same! I’m taking the steps to becoming more lady like. Thank you for this dear!
Monet Jenkins Awh excited for you!! It’s such a fun journey and you will learn so much about yourself! 😍🥳
Mrs Midwest Thank you dear! ❤️☺️
Love the message you share. I can feel the pendulum slowly swinging to create balance. Embracing my femininity more and more💖
Full Wealthy Life - Shari Kaye yessssss. It’s such a journey!! Gotta work that muscle and find our place on the spectrum. Happy for you my love 💗💓🌸
I'm 17 and these videos are helping me so much! It's like therapy to me (:
U r the first person who made me realise that I had given up on my femininity...2 years back
Thank you
God bless you
Your videos have been so helpful for me!
Caitlin, I am LOVING the tie-dye on you! I need a top like that! 💗
Megan McEwan thank you!! I got it from the girl’s section at JC Penny!! In my pursuit for more color, I’ve had to raid the little girl sections of the department store 🤪😅😅 not going to make a habit of it, but I could not resist this sweater 💓💛
That is too funny! I am going to have to check it out too!
@@MrsMidwest as someone who is 5 feet tall, the kids section is a great way to save money and find some cute stuff!
Beautiful tips and advice! I really like the idea about nurturing animals and plants even if you don't have children :)
Loving it so far ♡
So many animated movies, Rom coms and some Korean and Turkish shows as well !
Thank you again! Love from Morocco 🌷
Thank you !!! I was so afraid about the innocent joy ! This such a big part of my personnality and I thaught I will not be able to keep it as I'm growing. (Sorry if I'm mistakes I'm french )
Gros bisous!
I always love all ur videos but I’m ready for your next Vlog!!! They make me soo happy! They leave me feeling excited and inspired!!💕
Tiffany Jetter Awh thank you!! I will be recording one this week for 2 weeks from today :):) I was going to do one of my recent ski trip, but halfway through I decided to give up on it and just enjoy the vacation 😆😊 VLOG coming on the 18th of March! 💗💜💗
Mrs Midwest I understand unplugging and enjoying ur vacation!!! I look foward to that date!!!💕💕
You've literally shown me a new way of thinking. I always find that to be invaluable so thank you ❤️
I was never drawn to children, and vice versa.
This is beautiful and I'm glad there are women like this somewhere in the world. Bravo!
You are so sweet and helpful! I am so happy to listen to you! Thank you so much!
Well my favorite plant just died a month ago. Seems like I have room to improve still
Haha awe poor little plant. Was it a succulent?
My condolences in the loss of your plant. I am currently killing a small rose bush. 🙄😂
My goodness, i came back here like 2 months later and your channel grew from 30/40 ish thousand to 144K, well im probably the last to congratulate you but congrats. Glad to be part of the before 100k fam!
Thank you for all your videos that are coming out at the minute! So much wonderful content! I really hope you do another vlog soon! 💕
Lovely points! I have been more intentional about being child like(playful in a good balanced way) &whimsical!
Please do a video sometime about sewing! I rly want to take up sewing but dont know anything about it.any tips or tricks you have would be amazing
🌸🍃💗🍃🌸
You always touch on new ways of thinking.
You shine from the inside and out ❤
Also check out the YT channel Inspired by Nikki!
Practice nurturing the people you love ! Best advice 😪

I just love 💕 how elegant you speak. I hope one day you can have your own podcast. 🥰
I struggle with maturity. I’m 21 and I often joke childishly and overshare when I’m nervous or uncomfortable. I’ve grown up as the sort of chubby funny girl and I’m struggling to break out of that mold.
hey! im going to try these! when you do have kids i think that you will be a great mom!
thank you so much for the heart!!
macy diy thank you!! You are all giving me so much encouragement about this. I really appreciate it because I’m quite nervous about it 😊
@@MrsMidwest my pleasure! i love the community that you have created on this platform! you are an awesome person thank you!
Amazing video!! I completely agree with following feminine content creators ! It helps to keep me on track and more inspired.
I would love to see more vlogs, what I eat in a day/ favorite recipe videos, and maybe even a video about your wardrobe! I love getting to know more about my favorite you tubers 😊
Your hair looks great!!
Mrs Midwest, I love subscribing to you. Thank you for your advice! You’re wonderful!
So thankful the Lord led me to you! Just what I need to glow up and change my life. 🕊♥️
Thanks Mrs Midwest for this wonderful content, the links you have shared are just amazing!❤💕
This is an amazing video and I absolutely love your channel!
Could you possibly do a video for brides and wives to be 🙏🙏🙏
I'm 21 and will be getting married this summer after my graduation
I have so many fears over this new " role " I have to step into, how to do it right without losing yourself because of various social expectations. I'm worried about changes this brings to friendships I have at the moment and the general changes that come with this process of growing up and begining a new chapter in your life. All of the married women in my life are older ladies so I feel like I don't relate to their experiences as much :')
Anyways ,keep doing your great work ,you are a role model for so many young women
God bless you ❤️❤️❤️
"I love serving my man" this is so beautiful and it is one of the teachings if Islam.
I am a muslim too and her videos always remind me of the similarities between what's she talks about and about islam.
Girl I loved this video! I saw it pop up on my feed and had to wait until workout time to watch and it was so hard to stick to that rule 🤣
Thank you for helping me enjoy my workouts more, keep up the wonderful content ma'am!
Watching your videos gives me peace and many great answers to this question:
Maturity, wisdom, kindness, responsibility and caring.
"Dont hold back your love" I wish I had a loyal man to do this with. Nowadays we need to hold back to protect our heart and mental state.
Your face and hair and all of it would look amazing with the makeup that Cassie wore in the bachelor (coltons season) you’ve got to try it!
I am currently working on becoming a tidy person. I was always the one with clothing everywhere and would get to dishes later. I've done some big cleanings and notice it is so much cleaner now when I just pick up the little things. I haven't needed to do the bigger cleanings in so long.
You parenthesis with hobbies and side hustles is soooo true! Loved it 👏
Caitlin, I really want to get into sewing as I feel it's a very feminine hobby. (As well as an opportunity for modest and fun floral dresses).
Unfortunately I have no people in my life who sew. Can you make a video about what you see//what tools you have and how to get into it?
Thank you. You're a real inspiration for discovering my femininity.
I loved this video, thank you girl 😍❤ What truly wonderful ideas. You have a beautiful soul!
I love your lip stick shade! Which brand is it pleaseeeee? ♡ im also loving this video with less cuts. So smooth and fluid x
Thx for listing the creators you follow. Great video as always. Love you
