Ricky Nelson was a gorgeous man.
Ricky Nelson sang so romantic. I watched the video and did not know about a lot of RN life. As a teenager I was devastated when he died. Cried as if I knew him. I still listen to his music, and vision him singing it. I’m 70 and RN is and will be always my idol. ❤😊

My husband was a singer and actually quite good I always thought. But, he was in awe of Rick Nelson's talent and ability in music. We went to one of Nelson's concerts and I was amazed that Nelson didn't have a guitar glued to his torso. He sat at the piano and, along with his voice, used those two instruments throughout the entire evening. He WAS a talented musician.
It's criminal that ignorant folks downplay his musical ability in pathetic attempts to look informed at his expense.

Here's my 2 cents worth...Ricky was the handsomeness teen idol of all time...He was GORGEOUS.I still think that Ozzie was a tough father that in reality destroyed Ricky.If Ozzie was a better father Ricky would not have done what was due.I don't know about his mother, Harriet was to him. But i know that if your father is like a ogre to you then you have to fight him for your freedom. I don't know what relationship was with David..if it was the same. I have reason to believe that Ricky was bi sexual...Is there any proof? His performance on The Ed Sullivan show of 'Your Kinda Lovin' is a very sexy song as he shows his sexiness at the end.
