      Almost as insane as their trade in deals too. I paid less than $500 for my unlocked 512GB model with free Galaxy Buds Pro too.

      @@elias-pv9uh he said with trade, that's the key. Samsung recently had a trade the S21 Ultra for $1000 off S22 Ultra.
      IMHO people saying "I only paid $xxx" often overly downplay the trade in or the value of the trade in otherwise ("LoOk HoW GoOd Of A DeAl I GoT"). For example, the S21 Ultra is still like $600-$700 on Swappa used, so someone who paid $500 plus trading in an S22 Ultra really paid $1100+ net

    Being able to do astrophotography on a phone is one of the mind blowing thing I've ever found. I mean just 6 years ago it was crazy to think that just smartphone camera could be so much capable.
    Since last 3 years I've astrophotography on a lot of phones and even budget phones are quite good.
    But there's a huge problem I've found which is light pollution. It's literally everywhere.
    Normally with a DSLR you can manually adjust a lot of things and get a decent pic but the light just always get's in the way on phone astrophotography.
    So you need to find a really good spot.

    Expert RAW uses multi frame capture.
    You want pro mode with RAW in the regular camera app for unprocessed RAW photos. Both are useful in different situations, just kinda depends on what you're doing.
    Oh and you can use both telephoto lenses for either as well. Managed to capture Orion Nebula and the seven sisters with it, although the 10x lens captures a lot less light ofc.

    @chrinamint 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Just bought this phone and so I was looking for videos about it and came across yours. Very inspiring! And in fact you inspired me to get in the car and go out and take some night photos. I didn't do any star photography ( I do plan to do that later) but at this point I wanted to get some city sites. We have a statue here in my city and it's lit up at night. Well I found that every photo I took even in every different mode to try to get the best thing every single one the light of the statue was too much. Looking at it just with my eyes everything was perfect the light on the statue was mild and the colors that were at the bottom looked awesome and everything. But through the camera every single photo I took the light was just one big blobby too-bright mess and you couldn't even make out that there were colors at the bottom. So I went around and I saw that it happened every single time I tried to take a picture at night of something that is lit up. What would you suggest for that? I tried night mode, pro, without anything.. I just couldn't find the right combination to get what I was actually seeing to be in the photo. And editing it didn't give me any good results either. Sad day.

    I've just gotten into astrophotography, so I am very new at it. I was just starting to get the hang of it (but at this point I am just getting nice pictures of the moon, nothing else). Now I've gotten this phone and was attempting to get a photo through my telescope and I am so incredibly frustrated. I can't seem to get it in focus, and just when I do, it seems like it changes to a whole other lens. I have up for the first time tonight very near throwing the phone. 😮‍💨

      +1 on the Xperia 1 III, it really is a fantastic camera. I've been experimenting with Photo Pro settings. Using 15sec to avoid star trails. 3200 ISO worked, but think I'll try 1600 next. Did some stacking in Sequator and it was super quick and did a great job removing noise. Now if only I didn't live in a Bortle 2,000 zone and have to drive forever to get anywhere dark...

  • @pixels_per_inch

      The 1 inch sensor on the Xperia Pro I is not really a 1 inch sensor. It's pretty much just 2 thirds of that actually, good chuck of it it's cut, search it up

    • @pixels_per_inch
      @pixels_per_inch 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@qwerasdfhjkio I know, but since every manufacturer are sizing their sensors the same way, I would count it as 1 inch. At least Sony got it guts to say "1.0 type" but as I said, using the same scale as other sensors makes it easier to compare.
