I felt that most opening songs where from Ruby's point of view to be fair. I mean, This will be the day talks about how they are seen as young and helpless, but that a warrior will soon run wild (clearly Ruby, she is the youngest and the one most underestimated for it), and about miracles of ancient wonder (silver eyes, if you ask me). Time to say goodbye is, admitedly, more of a general song for teams RWBY and JNPR, but, again, the symbol of innocence among those characters is Rubes, and it talks about saying goodbye to the innocence of youth. Ruby is the one who doesn't give up at all and can actually act on her lack of giving up. She is the one who is "not conquered by her sorrows", even if she feels them. The others just manage to rebel against them at the end AFTER being conquered (or are dragged kicking and screaming, in Blake's case). It can be argued, again, that it talks about both teams, but the parts about not giving up at all is what, in my opinion, points at Ruby. The triumph is, again, a more general song. I'd even go as far as to say that is the rest of the teens answering to Ruby's declaration in Let's just live, rising to their triumph and finally mending their wounds (or getting as close as they can in so little time). The part about "I'm a girl but I'm also a gun, fast and I'm deadly, you'll never outrun" is Ruby, but unlike Let's just live, not everything points also at her besides other characters. 2:56 the bridge of the song: I noticed something when re-watching the show recently. The bridge starting on "we are paragons of virtue and glory" and the bit after is VERY similar to the spiel Pyrra said in volume 1 to unlock Jaunes aura. If you don't believe me look it up.
Thank you so much for making this, My sister and I listening to the songs. She is only 6 and she loves listening to the songs. Once again thank you so much for the song :)
Can we talk about how Volume 4, 5, and 6’s intros reference Pyrrha? Volume 4’s Let’s Just Live: Come on. They had that entire segment towards the end. Volume 5’s The Triumph: “It’s not *destiny!** It would be a *grave* mistake to think so!” Volume 6’s Rising: “**We are paragons of virtue and glory*, death can’t bind our endless story, *infinite and unbound!”*
"The rose will grow to be a seed; from every life, another life leads." I really like that lyric. It rhymes and really is true, not to mention that Casey's voice sounded super nice on that lyric in particular. Not sure why, but it did. Thanks for posting Flynt!!!
No one gonna mention how the guitar riff is basically an renovated version of the guitar riff from the volume 1 opening. Seriously, go back and listen to how the guitar sounds in the beginning of vol 1's intro and then play the beginning of this vol's intro. Pretty neat

after listening to this and "this will be the day" back to back, its awe inspiring just how much casey's singing has improved. not to say that this will be the day was bad
I love how this song captures a snapshot of the characters' emotions right as the season begins. They're riding high right now: Haven was saved, the relic is safe, Cinder is (as far as they know) dead, Blake has both faced down Adam and overcome his extreme message. This is their first real win against the bad guys, and the first major turnaround since the Fall of Beacon. So, with Rising we feel that renewed hope and optimism, with numerous references back to the (a bit naively) optimistic themes of volume 1. We have strong thematic ties to This Will Be the Day, as well as the near-direct quote from Pyrrha's unlocking of Jaune's aura. The clear message is, "we *can* do this, we are still the heroes of this story, and we can see our path to victory". Of course, we very quickly see all of those emotional highs come crashing down with the revelation that Ozpin still isn't telling them everything, which leads to the very different tone of Miracle at the end of episode 1 (even before they get the full backstory in episode 3).

Thanks for setting this up Flynt.....the moment those infinite and unbound lyrics came in......total Arkos feels man.
Oh good same picture. Can't wait for miracle, you're killing me XD
Awesome work as always
Coming back to these TH-cam uploads cause the music is suddenly unavailable on Spotify 😭😭 gurl it's the only way I get through the day bring them back pls!!
This definitely feels like V1s OP, which is my personal favorite, a lot more than the others.
THE LIGHTNING DOESN'T TAKE ADVICE FROM ANYONE!
THE WILLOW DOESNT NEED TO LEARN TO STAAAAND
[Verse 1]
Stay close, move fast
The darkness cannot last
No hope, no path
But we've got a dream to catch
And we cannot wait
Trust the way we're made
The sparrow's born to fly
The mountains tower
The river knows to reach the sea
Rain will help the flowers be
We're the same, you and me
[Chorus]
The lightning doesn't take advice from anyone
The willow doesn't need to learn to stand
As sun seeks day
We'll find our way
And we'll catch that dream together someday soon
We're rising like the moon
[Verse 2]
Stand firm, outlast
We won't be beaten by the past
One goal, one pact
Looking forward, never back
And we're on our way
Love's the choice we made
We're looking to the sky
The light will guide us
A rose will grow to be a sea
From every life another leads
By the way, we're meant to be
[Bridge]
The sky is turning black
Light is fading fast
But we don't surrender
Shattering the night
Radiant and bright
Our might is splendor
Shining forever
We are paragons of virtue and glory
Death can't find our endless story
Infinite and unbound
[Chorus]
The lightning doesn't take advice from anyone
The willow doesn't need to learn to stand
As sun seeks day
We'll find our way
And we'll catch that dream together someday soon
We're rising like the moon
Thank you! I cant see the lyrics in the video
Imma listen to this in the gym for motivation, and I don't even go to the gym bruh 😭🤷🏽♀️
Oh hello! THIS GUY MAKES BOSS PIANO VERSIONS OF VOLUME 6 SONGS GUYS!!!
(Hehe, showing some appreciation, man. :P)
"The lighting doesn't take advice from anyone" my FAVORITE part the drums go HARD that shit slaps
3:07 CHILLS
0:32 duo to 0:38 is amazing with harmonics
Ah yes, more reason for me to stay up and ignore sleep. God I love the rwby soundtrack. Thanks for the uploads Flynt.
Casey in opening one: fresh good vocal chords
By volume six: *shredded*
i love all the openings im just saying it must hurt to belt all of them
2:56 the bridge of the song:
I noticed something when re-watching the show recently.
This is honestly my favorite rwby songs.
Can we talk about how Volume 4, 5, and 6’s intros reference Pyrrha?
Volume 4’s Let’s Just Live: Come on. They had that entire segment towards the end.
Volume 5’s The Triumph: “It’s not *destiny!** It would be a *grave* mistake to think so!”
Volume 6’s Rising: “**We are paragons of virtue and glory*, death can’t bind our endless story, *infinite and unbound!”*
"The rose will grow to be a seed; from every life, another life leads." I really like that lyric. It rhymes and really is true, not to mention that Casey's voice sounded super nice on that lyric in particular. Not sure why, but it did. Thanks for posting Flynt!!!
This is my favorite song out of all of the soundtracks, and to finally know the lyrics. You're the man, I can't thank you enough for this vid
This is probably my favorite opening of the series.
No one gonna mention how the guitar riff is basically an renovated version of the guitar riff from the volume 1 opening.
Seriously, go back and listen to how the guitar sounds in the beginning of vol 1's intro and then play the beginning of this vol's intro. Pretty neat
Great job on your lyric videos! We all appreciate your hard work.
I watched the last episode of volume 6 last night it was incredible Blake and yang versus Adam was the best fight I’ve seen
idk why but this song made me cry
I'm a simple man.
I see FlyntofRWBY, I see Volume 6 soundtrack?

I love your work flynt, you're a great member of the FNDM,thanks for being there for us and putting aside time to spread these songs around for us to enjoy
Did you paste all that?
@@keaganlutchman5850 what?,I typed it out,i'm legit thanking this guy for doing something that takes time and effort, Believe it or not, some of us actually make heartfelt messages and don't have to rely on others to do everything for us
These guitar riffs always gets me excited. I freaking love this soundtrack
after listening to this and "this will be the day" back to back, its awe inspiring just how much casey's singing has improved. not to say that this will be the day was bad
Finally!!!! I’ve been waiting for this full cover . Thank you for posting this
"The willow doesn't need to learn to stand"
I dunno, she always seems to be swaying a little bit.
My little brother said this intro was trash
*said*
Man i waited so long for this song and it's even better than i expected
We really appreciate all your hard work flynt.
Amazing opening song
*listens to the song* me: casey is amazing with her father in making music XD. Love the new style and hope to see more of this in the future
We all appreciate how hard you work on these and how quick you get them out
Hard to think, two volumes ago we got a song this hopeful and defiant...
Thanks sooo much Flynto for all the lyrics you put out there. I'd be lost in the song without them
Once again, thanks Flynt for the full version and the lyrics!
I have been summoned? love seeing new RWBY music
God, that third chorus! They did the same thing in This Life Is Mine and its friggin amazing!
