Porsche 911 (991.2) GTS - Minor Service w/ Centre Lock Alloy removal & Brake Fluid change

- We have put together this full step by step 'How To...' video showing the procedures to carry out the first service (Minor) on 2017-2019 Porsche Carrera 3.0T engines.
This should be performed at either 2 years old or 20,000 Miles from new and includes the following;
- Engine Oil change w/ Oil Filter
- Pre Cabin Filter
- Cabin Filter
- Brake Fluid change (based on 2 years old)
- Porsche Centre Lock Alloy Removal
- Vehicle Inspection
- Service Reminders Reset
You should use genuine items when carrying out work on your vehicle to keep it in line with the manufacturers specification to avoid any warranty issues in the future

Mobil 1 - 0W40
Porsche Dot4 Brake Fluid
Catrol Aluminium Paste
Oil Filter -
Pre Cabin Filter -
Cabin Filter -
Sump Plug -

Awesome job!!! I wish you would go more in debt on the brake fluid flush. So after you drained the fluid from the brake pad you just release the new brake fluid from the pump?
Hi. Thanks for the comment 😁 for the brake fluid change, if doing it on your own you will definitely need a brake fluid pressure bleeder. The bleeding kit forces the old fluid out of the caliper and at the same time keeps fresh fluid in the brake reservoir. Once you have released around 250ml of old fluid from the caliper it just a case of releasing the pressure for the bleed kit and disconnecting it from the reservoir and checking the level is correct. Hope this helps.

Hi. Not a problem, the link below is for a Autel MP808. Not the diagnostic unit used in this video but what we used in our GTS dyno video. This diagnostic unit is very good and will reset your service lights.

Do the centre lock nuts get damaged/marked when removing the wheels?
Hi Adam. Removing the CL dont damage them but I do believe the cleaning products used for cleaning the alloys can possibly be the reason why most fade over time

@@abandco.creative I use a Sealey STW104 3/4" this is enough for 700nm. You will also need a 1M long 3/4" breaker bar as well to undo the CL. Hope this helps.
