With your expertise you should do a top 5 best mattresses, in three categories, memory foam, hybrid, and conventional inner springs. That way we can actually compare brands.
Looks like the pillow top tufted model is not a bed in the box, and manufactured locally (for California, it's in Rialto). And looking at the tag, It's only 17% GOLS organic + 68% just "latex foam rubber", and a lot less "wool rayon blend" in terms of percentage (9%). That one is a 25 yr warranty. But not sure about the built quality, comfort layer quality, and which coils were used inside. It does have a 1in layer of latex under the coils (not flipable) according to the marketing diagrams.
If i am going to buy a latex bed, i except some latex. This bed the latex is hardly any. Also a quilted top, i want stretchy material meant for latex. I wouldnt buy a bed in a box because i have watched so many beds being open and they were ruined. This is an awful bed!
Yes you are correct. When it comes to optimum sleep and purchasing mattresses you never want to short yourself and buy the starter model. Generally speaking starting model are considered leaders because the industry has become very competitive and price sensitive. This model does have more of the safer organic features that would be suitable for children. Thank you for watching our videos. If you have alternative suggestions please feel free to let us know as we are always willing to learn more. Also keep in mind the harvest green has a pillow top model with a lot more latex. We think this base model for $599 is a pretty good deal.
The point of the minimal latex is for people with latex allergies. Harvest Green used to be Joy Beds which was one of the few latex free organic beds on the market. I spoke with them and they said they put in latex now, but only the inner layers, to add more stability to the coils. However they assured me that the latex wasn’t on top of the bed so it wouldn’t be exposed to the sleeper. Latex foam contains chemicals in order to process it from the tree into the mattress shape.

The spring rate is inversely proportional to the number of turns.
Since you make your own beds why did you partner with a different mattress company vs just making one yourself?

Is the base model avocado better than a revive mattress?
