Great video. Learning and flying from yyc to nrt loaded sim brief mid flight and that was fun. Don’t know how to get altitude cruise to increase normally like on the a329 and also set a higher cruise speed.

Found and easier way as well on Xbox start from the departing runway then import your plan from sim brief, and u should be good to go. I’ve also noticed pressing ready to taxi and ready to take off never works for me I just seem to drop once I’ve taken off
Really appreciated this video which helps me get ready for the release this week. Just one question that I hoped you might answer/demonstrate but was missing: I use the Thrustmaster Airbus throttle quadrant for the FBW and the other LVFR aircraft (A318, A319, A321) with the Horizon mods. Since those mods won't be on the A330 how do I calibrate the throttle settings? Even with the "un-modded" LVFR aircraft, the physical positions on my TM throttles did not match those in the sim. So, how can I perform the calibration so the physical indents match/align the correct settings in the sim? Thanks so much again. Really looking forward to the A340 when it finally comes out, but this one should be good too.
If your on XBOX, this great news. However, these new aircraft LVFR have been releasing has bought about a side of LVFR that I wasn't expecting. I find LVFR's response to horizon sim very weird and to be honest, I cannot understand the decision to lock down the files and not allow mods to make a lacking product better. Personally I see LVFR trying to take a piece of the very lucrative casual flightsim market like Captain sim. At least they have put more effort into the A330 than the A32x series.
I can understand why they did it, and they aren't the first either. PMDG did something similar last year about some guy making a cockpit texture. Because its not uncommon for people to install the main mod (LVFR in this case) then have a mod that interacts with that (Horizon) which then causes issues and then go and complain at the main mod maker (LVFR) their product isn't working if something goes wrong. Also, you could potentially argue it is a bit of a kick to the teeth to a dev along the lines of those who "fix" art.
@@shinkicker404then the initial developer (LatinVFR) should have fixed ‘the art’ in the first place instead of being so sensitive about it. The only reason I bought their stuff is because of the Horizon mods. Because their baseline product wasn’t up to par. Combined it was worth it.
@@shinkicker404 As far as I know, it was horrizon sim not LVFR who where working to get the FBW mod compatible with the LVFR products. If LVFR get asked to support the Horrizon, it is well within their rights to say no and all the cockpit mods for the PMDG where obviously 3rd party and I think you would have to be very stupid to complain to the addon developer about incompatibility. If i am honest, I hadn't heard about that but still. You say it could be a kick in the teeth but I don't see why any dev would be angry if someone actively improved their product especially in the case of the Horrizon sim and really, I dont think LVFR have any right to feel like they had been kicked in the teeth after charging 20 pounds for a reskin and a lacklustre EFB.

The thing about no coordinates isn’t as bad as some might think. The Fenix can’t do it either. If you try to import a flight plan with long/lat waypoints it’ll still say invalid flight plan uplink.
Did y'all test this thoroughly on xbox? Updates are surely needed, almost impossible to liftoff with any sort of payload or fuel as the aircraft seems to struggle. It also cannot get to 41000 without slowing to a crawl and fighting with auto throttle.
Hi LVFR, can you address the issue with the Logo light? Apparently, it goes out once airborne and a really slow climb rate. Thanks again for your hard work and bring these planes to the Xbox family!
Great video! Very easy to follow your instructions. I fly the Headwind A330-900neo and love the aircraft. At the moment I have my virtual pilot career on SimBit World APL2 and am a Senior First Officer with Korean Airlines. Currently flying longhaul from RKSI to NZAA and PANC. I really like how LVFR has implimented the runway diagram of the ground taxi. Does the LVFR A330-900 LNAV and VNAV perform properly?
@LVFR_vis First of all we are very gratefull that u guys provide us a new plane for console.That being said i just bought the plane today for my xbox series S and being completely honest performance is so poor, in less than an hour test i got fps drops, black screens, auto thrust glich, AP suddenly crashing the plane wich ruins completely your flight, so my question is considering the poor perfomance of the a330 and the 35 euros we paid, how long do we have to wait to get a hot fix? and second question, is vnav already available? thanks in advance.

When I’m sending my flight plan to the cdu the flight plan just stays black with at the top untitled does anyone know what you can do about this? (I’m on Xbox)
When I taxi this A339, I cannot seem to steer. No matter how slowly and smoothly I input on the tiller, the nose wheel just skids through and the heading hardly changes. The only way I can taxi is with high thrust, jabbing the brakes and crawling around turns. That's definitely not right. Or, bypass the taxiing completely and just slew about. Keeping straight on the takeoff roll is just about as bad, but as the rudder comes to life through about 80 knots, it's okay. Anyone else had this issue? It was also a problem with the stick B748, but that seemed to go away after on its own an MSFS update. I'm using the Airbus TCA side stick, with inbuilt yaw via twisting.
Great video. I have an issue with the APU on some flights where it simply won't start. I hit "APU Master", wait 5 seconds and then start APU, and it starts counting up and then stops after about 2 seconds and returns to XX. Any ideas?

Can it handle x8 simmrate? That’s my biggest issue with the freeware a330neo running on FBW stuff. The a330 is a long haul so this would be super convenient
Is it possible to modify the MCDU so that Hold works? The stock a320 system has bugs left in it and there is no future for aircraft using the stock a320 system because the fixes by iniBuilds will be on a different aircraft.
Just a quick note, the Emergency exit lights should be on Armed not on, is it possible to make this switch toggle-able? And the external power was still available after disconnecting the external power.

Freeware version is not higher quality, they still lack a decent external and cockpit model (cockpit looks like shit, even after the revamp). As for systems, they still haven’t fixed the fuel flow amongst many other things. Both LVFR and HW are years away from having an actual solid A339

Some things were not explained at all. Why did you set that trim setting? Also, where did you get the VOR frequencies that you entered. I think you need to assume people who are watching do not have any knowledge of the aircraft. Personally, I currently fly the PMDG 737 only so I have no idea how the airbus systems work
Prohibits Horizon from creating mods on top of package and in the description says this tutorial is half baked cause no LNAV/VNAV, that's insane to me.
You do know they took the mod thing down and they said they would be willing to work with them in the future. And besides these are what I call carenado level aircraft a mid range plane with a good model. I like my study level but not everyone in the sim can use them. And even myself at times just want to hop in a plane and just fly with out 20 to 30 minutes of programming.
I did not buy LVFR A321 NEO because Horizon mod uses FBW and passengers cabin is gone . The question is if the quality of this plane is near Horizon mod in A321 NEO, since you are going to use your own skills without any 3rd party.
Looks OK atm, i will buy when it is finished, I hate paying money for a 'Beta'. Lots to do as you say, also they need to brighten up the displays as you had them on Max brightness and you could hardly read them (ECAM especially). It is in its basic state at the moment. Not expecting a 'Fenix' level type, but it needs to have Lnav/Vnav and other settings in the MCDU, better simbrief intergration, and have the ability to not CTD (??) if you fly at or above FL390. School Report would read:........... Good Start, needs now to concentrate on improving. Shame it could not be a little more complete on Release.
I don’t know why they don’t work hard on the planes It is just the A320 but different sound packs and 2 or 3 buttons working extra and the EFB That’s it

How did u connect it to gsx? Gsx doesnt work for me when using the a330

My flight plan is coming up on the tablet but when I click send to Cdu it doesn’t work I’m on Xbox.
Same I clicked the button so many times and nothing ever happens.
You need to click once, and wait, look at the FP menu, can't do it twice

Will probably use this more than the Headwind until they fully finish the cockpit revamp. Just for the cockpit.
Don't hold your breath. FBW has been saying they will fix the cockpit for two years and here we are. Same default trash.

Once I take off it just drops? Wheels are up, flaps are set for take off. Everything seems fine the fails, but might be me doing something wrong

The trim setting is a random setting, not calculated. The VOR frequencies are on the navigraph charts.

No one is prohibiting anyone from doing mods. Not at LVFR at least.

And besides these are what I call carenado level aircraft a mid range plane with a good model. I like my study level but not everyone in the sim can use them. And even myself at times just want to hop in a plane and just fly with out 20 to 30 minutes of programming.

ANS looks nice and its slightly better than Horizon sim in looks.
I did not buy LVFR A321 NEO because Horizon mod uses FBW and passengers cabin is gone . The question is if the quality of this plane is near Horizon mod in A321 NEO, since you are going to use your own skills without any 3rd party.
I’m sorry but this is no way near horizons simulations 321n mod in terms of system fidelity

Looks OK atm, i will buy when it is finished, I hate paying money for a 'Beta'. Lots to do as you say, also they need to brighten up the displays as you had them on Max brightness and you could hardly read them (ECAM especially). It is in its basic state at the moment. Not expecting a 'Fenix' level type, but it needs to have Lnav/Vnav and other settings in the MCDU, better simbrief intergration, and have the ability to not CTD (??) if you fly at or above FL390.

It doesn't change, I can only interact with the right button and it shows me the definition of the icon. with the left button it doesn't do anything.
