- LG has created a brand new device: LG G8X ThinQ! This device allows you to do SO MUCH.

here's a tip I don't know if people know, on your second screen if you don't want to always pull up the bubble menu to turn the screen on/off, you can just do the knock on or double tap the screen and you can turn it on/off. no more pulling down the menu.
The Sprint representative was almost surprised when I walked in the store and asked for the LG device over the more expensive Samsung one with the same processor. Love my LG G8, never lags and the software has been great so far.
Best review I have seen on this phone yet . Hopefully some day LG will get the recognition it's deserves for its innovation, nice to see something different.

I just received the dual screen yesterday. To those who say this phone is bulky never walks around with a portable charger. I been a LG fan since early 2014 each time I upgrade its like you guys step it up everytime. I had the phone alone for 3 months and no complain will enter this place. Thank you for the intro.
This is actually the best video on how to use the LG 8X. Actually, I just bought the LG 50s and need the tutorial of how to use the extra keyboard, the camera and multitasking functions. Michelle, you are a great help. Thank you very much!

Loved your vid as I have had the g8x for 2 days now in Chicago. Now I am super excited since you went thru real world situation's and how it would be used daily. I can't thank you enough since you made me feel like upgrading from the v30+ was the right choice. LG is 🔥🔥🔥don't sleep on them. I went with no case on my v30 for 16 months and i dropped it so many times n got it wet countless times n it gave me zero issues. I am going to pamper my new g8x for it's lifetime. Michelle my flagships had always been samsungs but your keeping me woke to LG. Glad they have such awesome ppl repping the brand too they are truly blessed to have you.

LG flagship devices all have military standard and IP 68 so that is why you were able to drop it and got it wet.

LG should make an ad with you, so people know what they are missing.
Most do not know you can do those things only on the LG G8x, and buy iphones, and Samsungs, and omne pluses instead, because noone ever told them.

@@Baybe828 I received the phone and have been using it about a week now and really like it. I am still learning about everything it can do. I like that while other phone makers are taking options away like the sd card and headphone jack that LG tries to offer more options. The review was great because it emphasized what the features and what the phone can do. Practically every top tier Android phone in 2019 has about the same specs. The features are what differentiates the phone from others. Good luck in your career.

Great video, excellent tutorial about the features of the devices and how to use them. Watched probably 10 or more videos about the G8X and your video was by far the most informative. Better than anything on LG'S website. I do have one question though.
I know the phone is sold with the dual-screen case, however, I've not found information anywhere about if the case will be sold separately. If the consumer cracks the case screen or breaks the hinge etc. It would be nice to know a case could be purchased separately. Also if you know what the price of the case purchased separately might be that would be great to know.
Either way, your video definitely helped sell at least one G8X. Hope you make more videos in the future. Thanks.

As for your question, the dual screen itself isn’t available to be purchased yet so the price is still unknown. The good thing is, if you do sign up with Bell, I believe they have device protection program for your device that covers physical damage and it does cover the dual screen as well. I’m sorry I couldn’t answer your question better but hope it helped.
I will reply to this thread as soon as I find out the pricing of the dual screen if to be sold separately.

Great vid! First off, thank you for being upfront with us and telling us that you are an LG rep. I am excited to get this phone! Is the dual screen attachment also a proper and protective case for the phone? I am always dropping my phones so I need a decent case! I love the idea of a dual screen. It is much more durable and more cost-effective to do it this way rather than have the whole screen fold. I hope that future LG phones just keep improving on this great idea. BTW, I own a lot of LG products. My TV, and fridge are LG plus I have had 4 LG cell phones! This one will be my 5th! I enjoy LG's innovations. Please, I hope you and your LG coworkers keep up the great work!!
Eric Scott, the dual screen acts like a case as well but the screen in the front is also a glass so id suggest you put a screen protector too if you can.

Thank you! I've been watching so many reviews, and you're the first one to actually show useful features. Unfortunately.... I JUST bought the oneplus 7 pro because it was on sale. It was that or the g8x, and I spent hours researching for days straight, and I ended up not wanting to miss out on the deal. If the g8x drops by $100+, I'll buy one. Do you know when LG will be coming out with the g9?

I just got this phone and the Dual Screen and love it. I was also afraid that it would be too heavy and bulky but those fears were unfounded. I would like to point out that there is a way to get wide mode in almost any app and not just Chrome. There is an app in the store called G8X WideMode that will allow any app to use wide mode.

FYI there is a third party app called G8x wideview on play store. With that you can open almost all the apps in wide view - whatsapp, instagram, twitter etc. I have been using this phone for 5 days now and it's so much fun !
Hey sweetie, nice video. I like LG because of its always changing ideas. However what I don't see some reviewers doing are showing off the software features like the UX Skin over android, what has changed in the style of applications, always on displays etc., And also gesture navigations. If you can do these I'll have no problem subscribing. Nice to see an LG Representative doing a review. 🎉

Or did you mean wide mode? - for wide mode, go into your browser and then you’ll see a floating icon (dual screen setting bar), you can toggle wide screen and you’ll have extended screen on both screens

I've been having my phone for about 2.5 weeks and I'm waiting for my dual screen to arrive in the mail
I appreciate your review. It might not work due to the cutouts for the buttons and curves, but what if you flipped the phone when inserting it into the USB C port on the "case"? You now have the main camera on the G8X with the ultra wide angle lens facing you, along with the the secondary screen on the left, which hopefully can be used as a viewfinder with a shutter button. Just a thought. Would you know if this works? If not, how can this feedback be sent to LG? Thanks.
