Check out the goatskin ESV Topaz - I have been using this for my daily readings for a month now and it has exceeded my expectations. The print and paper have been a delight, and so easy to read and keep focused even when reading late on in the evening.

I am so glad I have found your channel. Since I have been trying to find a new Bible for my wife and myself, you have truly been helpful. I also love one thing in particular that you said in this video, “God can speak to us through all those translations”. Very true words, a lot of people seem to forget that.

A great review on a wonderfully designed Bible! I tried the Quentel first and while it is also a beautiful Bible, I much prefer the layout and design of the Topaz. I’ve been very pleased with mine except for the ribbon markers. I had the ribbons replaced with a better quality ribbon along with having a third ribbon added.

Hey brother I just got the cambridge blue topaz esv today and I am really impressed with it. The font size is great. The quality is very good. It is better than what I was expecting. I will definitely be using this a lot thanks brother :)

Welcome back, Mark. We missed you! This is a good review of the Topaz ESV, but I was wondering... do you think a Topaz or a Turquoise could be special ordered from Cambridge without 'Holy Bible' inscribed on the front cover? I have two Pitt Minions and a Cambridge Cameo KJV w/Apocrypha, none of which has an inscription on the front cover which I very much prefer. For some strange reason, I just dislike seeing anything written on the front cover of a bible. (?)

I still can’t decide whether this is a better option to a Quentel. I think the colour options and the space in the margins for notes (if you are inclined), and of course the savings, still make the Quentel a better option as far as I’m concerned.
Did I spy a Navitimer as well? I’ve got the blue 46 and I love it!
Hi Lewis yes you’d have to be sure about the Topaz as it isn’t cheap! It does have a lot of wow factor, as soon as you hold it you know it’s worth the money! Sadly it’s not a Navitimer, it is a Rotary homage which has been a great watch! I would like a Navitimer, maybe one day! 😀
I think the topaz has more space for notes then the non-wide margin Quentel.
Love the font, hate that they let the words go in the gutter. I think I'm spoiled by wide margins LOL. I have a bible with the margins exactly like this... not my favorite. But, if you need the bold font this is the bible for you.
How do you sit to read bigger biles like this please? I can't seem to sit in my usual chair as it's too heavy to hold like a paperback. I guess it has to sit on a table, but then my neck hurts from looking down

It's a great looking bible an all, but holy meatballs 😖, those are some very steep prices. I mean i just recently purchased a limited edition Navy blue, Roma Goatskin with a black Cowhide lining, Red letter Turquoise from CBP for only $145 dollars.
I think I'll be waiting awhile before i pull the trigger and purchase a KJV, Topaz Goatskin. When it comes to premium bibles, I'm not going any further than $250 dollars. In time, the hype for the Topaz will go down along with the prices..... hopefully.
Agreed, although there’s no comparison between what I’ve seen here and anything that CBP produces, and I’ve bought over quite a few CBP Bibles myself. But sure, it’s a lot of money, so you’ve got to be a good steward. 👍

What is the difference between calf skin and goat skin other than the price?
Goat is leather-lined and calf is paste-down. Also, calf is much smoother than the pebbly goat leather.
Is the topaz only available in the reference size?

Which is ur personal favorite?
As an all round excellent design it would have to be the Topaz. For reading and general use its amazing. However, I tend to use the KJV for preaching and personal study so in which case the Concord WM would be my choice out of those. To add a wrinkle though I would actually prefer the Cameo over all of them 😀

Cristian _ that’s great! Set your budget and go for it! You won’t be disappointed with any of the Bibles I feature on my channel and on my web store, I have always thought the Personal Concord in French Morocco leather is awesome value for money at less than £60. It has everything the wide margin has but without the size! God bless

Hi Mark you do need to get a better quality camera because the image is too grainy. As for the bible what Cambridge (because TBS will not do it according to what they say) need to bring up is not another reference bible in a new look BUT a serious study bible like e.g. long out of print Dicksons New Analytical Study Bible KJV or Topical Reference Bible - the WAP Edition. People do need more help to better understand the Word. They may also consider working together with Kirkbride to bring up Thomson Chain Ref. Bible of a much higher quality and with larger fonts. Either way people do not need another better-looking bible but a bible which explains better the Word of God.
