@@drivendailygarage503 I'll be installing mine very soon I decided to take my grill to my local body shop and have them paint match the color code But it'll be worth it
I wish you would have backed up a bit so So we could get a really good view. Thanks for the video, brotha. I’m contemporary on doing the same but afraid I won’t like it.
I'll admit I haven't seen one that fits perfectly, and if that will bother you then just know that up front. If you are going to do it though make sure you spend the money.
It looks glossy on camera but it is only the paint nothing extra. But I have had nice success on wheels before with using automotive clear. Still makes it removable if wanted and gives durability and shine
This is the kinda stuff I wish people saw now on tv and tik tok haha
Nice work boys !!
Looks good !!!
Thank you 😊
It is still holding up great almost a year later

It absolutely will. We planned on doing that after the dip failed it just hasn't yet.

@@drivendailygarage503 definitely a deal breaker for me. Thanks a lot.
Completely understand, glad we could help you with your decision
can you provide the actual link of the product? or did it get discontinued?
We were not able to find it on the website that we got the grill from when we posted the video
May i ask, witch plastidip paint brand, color and type did you use?
That project was just basic white from plasti dip from a spray can. It matched Oxford white close enough that we never did anything else with it
How is the plastic dip working out? Still on, need to touch up? Has it lasted well?
Amazing it has not needed touched up yet. Joey even takes the truck to the car wash and no issues
I want your oem grill
How many cans of paint did you use to paint the grill?
It was about 4 cans. Nothing terrible
You only use plastic dip on it? What else u use to make it glossy

You are welcome sir! Glad the video helped you and thank you for the support.
What color of whites did you use for the plastic dip
It was just the original standard white. It matched really well

That looks awesome great idea! How's the grill holding the paint so far?
Almost a year later and no issues with the paint at all
Thanks for the update im gonna try red for my truck!!!
Where did u buy the grill
We bought it at americantrucks.com
It was the Proven Ground grill
What did you use to scuff it up before painting?
We used a 120 grit and 220 grit foam block
