I have a 2013 fx4 eco boost. Getting 12mpg you think I need to be worried about something. Only change was bigger tires.
thank you
CJ 3-B
Would this be able to fit 2 12 comp q kickers you think?
I would think so, for sure
@@drivendailygarage503thanks!
I have 2010 f150 5.4 it has combined fuel economy of 11.7 mpg is it fine or it needs to be fixed?
The 5.4 is different, they are all over the place on fuel mileage. That being said that is low if the truck is stock and I would look into it
Where is pt 2 😢
Niceeeee
VERY nice love it
Gorgeous truck
The fake radio and heater controls ruin the whole thing. Massive error.
Stop it man! Beautiful
Do you need someone to haul off this old relic?
Just finished installing mine, they work fine from the outside but when I use turn signals they double click/ almost hyper flash on the dash. Any ideas?
Had a 1982 model TLR 200, didn't like it, as a twin shock trials bike, it didn't hold a candle to my TY 250 or my Montesa 348 Cota. AUS.
Why do you rev that little motor like that?? Totally inexperienced rider!!😂😂
So far so good... But don't rev a 4 stroke like a 2 stroke engine for warming up 🧐
I have the 125cc version of this bike, a Japanese import known in the UK as the rock-hopper or sometimes called the field-tripper, if anyone has a 250cc or 200cc engine in good running condition with the lighting stator plate fitted and low milage get in touch with me if you want to sell it, I'm after more BHP and a quick swap will do the trick, (seeing the engine running would be deal clincher) PS As for starting this engine >> petrol on, full choke and let it stand for 1 minute then with no throttle (assuming everything is set up correctly IE ignition timing, tappets gaps, good plug etc) it will start with no problem, but DO NOT blip the throttle,
Fort the lip the you have u need to take the original out?
May i ask, witch plastidip paint brand, color and type did you use?
That project was just basic white from plasti dip from a spray can. It matched Oxford white close enough that we never did anything else with it
I thought the video was to show how to install the front lip?
Those springs are not progressive. They are helper springs to preload the springs.
The springs aren't progressive, those are helper springs to preload the spings. The Ford Performance Track springs are linear.
For sale?
It went to bring a trailer
Same thing happen to me turn signal don't work
Make sure all the plugs are in good, and if you get it out of sync just follow the video. It is an easy fix
Can they work without the 3rd break light cables?
where can i buy that specific spoiler?
We bought that spoiler on eBay
Nice one 👍
Did you have to do camber bolts or plates? I just got the kit in and I've heard mixed things about alignment on the internet.
We did not need anything extra than what came in the kit.
@@drivendailygarage503 Thanks for the quick response!
You are welcome! We loved the kit, hope you do too
@@drivendailygarage503Good to hear, the car is a very capable stock so I'm super excited to see what it can do with a proper suspension.
We had a pp1 car, a non performance pack car that we put this kit on and it is definitely the way the cars should have come
do you have to clean it even though there's no check engine light on?
We had no cel at the time either. We only cleaned it for fuel mileage, which it helped a little bit
Good video! I watched it a couple of times before my install. I appreciate the detail👍
🙏 Thank you Toby, glad that the video helped you
You made a video that said towing a boat yet you talked with the camera on yourselves the whole time. You wonder why you have no views and followers smh.. tow a boat dont have you on the camera duhh smfh.. waste of time
Pops into 4x4 faster than my k1500 ever did and I replaced the actuator lol
where do you get the hardware to install the lip
We used pan head tech screws
@@drivendailygarage503 could you link it if you don't mind
Something like this is what we used. Where we got them I don’t remember. Jetovo 150 Pack 410 Stainless Steel Wafer Head Phillips Self Drilling Screws Sheet Metal Tek Screws Assortment Kit, Modified Truss Head Self Driller - Size: #8 x 1/2" #8 x 3/4" #8 x 1" a.co/d/6Ofozmn
@@drivendailygarage503 thanks so much
Chevy or GMC
Same thing lol
It is a Chevy Tahoe
Send it to the scrap
That button shifting is for the birds, get a stick
I have had this kit for some time now but am just now getting ready to install it. I wanted to make sure the geometry was set right and have been gathering bits to do that. I didn't see where you did anything other than install the kit itself. How many sets of tires have you gone through so far?
Before the car was traded in I put almost 10,000 miles on the car and did not have signs of wear show up. It does require a different alignment set up, but alignment shop should be able to get you taken care of.
@@drivendailygarage503 If I do anything,I do it right or not at all. Even the ford performance engineers admitted it would excellerate tire wear. That's If it's just thrown on and a basic alignment is performed. They don't stress doing it correctly because less folks would purchase their kits knowing they would be needing to buy additional parts. Ford doesn't care if your tires only last 7500 miles.
We agree, we use most of these cars more than most would and put lots of miles on them. We did not run into wear issues with the car and it still had the factory pirelli tires on it. It is a great kit and we loved the way the car handled afterwards. Anytime you modify a car just keep in mind you might run into problems issues like tire wear.
I was never inside an original Bronco, but I'm both surprised and disappointed that any of them had automatic transmissions.
Why? The manual transmission was a three-speed on the column. I owned a 1971 Bronco. It was noisy, rough riding, cold in the winter, had no air conditioning (not available), manual steering (power steering not available), manual drum brakes (power brakes not available), had an AM radio, and it got 15.5 mpg, I was 22 years old and thought it was the greatest thing I could own.
@@buckhorncortez I understand. By the seventies you already had to shop around for anything but an automatic, and except for a few imports and farm pickups, the manuals were pretty much all three on the tree, as we used to say. I thought of the early Broncos as pretty basic, and that would have precluded autos in my estimation. But that's just me.
Beautiful car and sound. How often do you cold start it?
Thank you! It got started and driven about once a month during summer months to shows.
Sounds like my f100 I’m the spring when/if it starts.
I'd put an LS in it. Right now it sounds like a dang tractor🚜
I agree
Sounds great wdym☠️
@@DJMACK193I don’t💀
@@tht1dirtbikekid How are you?
Sacreligious 🤨
Nice vid, btw mine didn’t come with that yellow wire that you have to plug in to the 3rd light, so you know where can I get just that cable with the connections?
I unfortunately don’t have a clue. We’re your lights used? Mine came straight from euroS550. Without the yellow wire my lights did not work the brake lights at all.
Where did you get that kit love it
Cool spoiler
now it looks like a fake raptor wana be
No it really doesn't at all. Raptor grills are solid black 😂
@@chrispulieri9543 no it looks like an ugly chinese knock off
OMG you guys were right about that air bag module connector. I tried and tried to get the harness in place without unplugging it but no way. as soon as I followed your advice, it gave me enough to slide it over the flange. Thanks so much!!!!
Awesome video! I appreciate the thorough review 😎
Where did you buy the side skirts?
Whole body kit came from the same place, we got it from aeroworks.ca
Thanks for showing the headroom afterwards.
You are welcome, hope the video helps with your decision
I wish you would have backed up a bit so So we could get a really good view. Thanks for the video, brotha. I’m contemporary on doing the same but afraid I won’t like it.
I'll admit I haven't seen one that fits perfectly, and if that will bother you then just know that up front. If you are going to do it though make sure you spend the money.
@@drivendailygarage503 definitely a deal breaker for me. Thanks a lot.
Completely understand, glad we could help you with your decision
