    Animal Based eating has improved my autoimmune condition so much. My Sed Rate dropped from 74 mm/h to 29 mm/h in 6 months. Still high but getting better. Dropped my weight from 210 to 185 over that same time frame. Thank you sir for opening my eyes to this!

      I have anciety disorder as ik recovering from alcohol addiction. I used to eat mostly healthy beans and legums and salads ans some meat uselually chicken. But i constantly have this sensation of gagging (physical form of anxiety) even when sober. I went 5 days without alcohol and i still had to eat little a time to reduce gagging symptom. Now i ate a decent serving of steak ajd a whole bamanna and my stomach is not rejecting like usual.
      I miss eating beans legumes and salads and sweets. But this diet is at least very tasy in its own way

    Greetings handsome paul. Your diet and way of living is definitely optimal, and I am definitely living proof of that. I went to my primary care today and he basically told me that my blood work results we're off the charts superior. Thanks again handsome for your wisdom and body of knowledge of the proper human diet. You among many carnivore influencers have really changed my life for the better. Thanks Paul for another informative video! I've been animal based for 2 months, my mom just started after seeing my health improvements. She suffered from excessive gas, it has reduced by 75% already in only a few days. I had random extreme lower abdominal pain, now it's almost non existant. Plus I have so much more energy and I'm actually gaining healthy weight.

    Thanks Paul, I think this is great to help people get started on an animal based diet. I started 4 months ago, just protein and fat... (One week in I released gall stones and parasites, loosing fat as well, so it's been great to see how my body is reacting just by changing what I eat).
    However, 2 months in, living in the high desert my body suddenly wanted watermelon... I pushed the thought aside for 2 weeks, upped my water and salt. But as it got hotter (90F) and lower in humidity (15-20%) I had to get some.
    First couple of days no problem then my itching skin came back so I figured it's either the fiber or the sugar, I used my slow juicer to take out the fiber and 2 months on, no issues.
    Thank you for showing people you don't have to restrict your diet, and it's okay to mix things up. I've had since tried some potatoes and rice and yes, I think people who have eczema have trouble digesting it.... I hope more people will start listening to what their body needs rather than what they want to eat.
    Wanting something is attached to emotions and desires, sometimes its not healthy and people don't know how to resolve it... something we hope to help more people with.

    Paul, I have been watching your videos and subscribed to your channel a while back now as I really enjoy the content. You have a great way of giving people plenty of options to make the correct choices when it comes to the food we eat and you're obviously extremely educated and still manage to take a serious, yet whimsical approach to it all. Great job! I've been a firefighter for 18 years now and I can assure you that when it comes to diets and workouts, I've seen every book, podcast, or show in my years on this job. It's part of our lifestyle and we take it very seriously. Moreover, many of us compete in Ironman races, marathons, Ultra's, fitness comps, Spartans, Tough Mudders, and so on. Just curious what your choice of fuels would be when participating in distance races like a 50km/30 Mile run, Ironman, and Ironman 70.3 race? Can't see you suggesting all the gels, energy drinks, cola, and supplements many individuals take during these races. Thank you in advance.

      @sobahighroller2936 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      i guess because ground beef is a fresh food that stay in contact with plastic for few days while canned fish has got a way longer expire date (also it doesn't need to be refrigerated wich can lead to poor storage conditions)

    • @CanSardines
      @CanSardines 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Think heating. From my understanding the fish is stored inside the can whilst cooked so that probably promotes chemical leakage into the fish. Fresh beef is just stored inside the plastic package for maybe a few days. For organic beef they can only be refrigerated for like 3 days before requiring freezing so plastic into meat should be limited if getting fresh.

    I don't think lineage is covered by snap but epic is another really good brand that is. Then also if you have a smoker or dehydrators you can make your own. I've made jerky from beef heart and beef kidney in my dehydrator. I've made pemmican as well. Oh, and on supplimenting folate I currently am because when I last went into my gp and got labs I was really low on folate though my other markers that affect anemia were good. Thing is I have a nasty history of anemia that at times borders on life threatening that's started at age 6 (I'm soon to be 38 and f) so I kinda supplemented because at the time I was doing a month stint of carnivore with a lot of red meat, beef heart, beef kidney in my diet which all that is high in folate as are eggs and several other things I was eating. Oh and on lunch ables I do not buy that for my son at all. His face meal I make is egg and veggie tacos or taco bowl. I use rendered animal fat or ghee, eggs, taco seasoning (mostly very clean) , onion, sweet peppers, and a low carb tortilla. I sometimes have added beef heart, liver, tripas (tripe), or simply muscle meat. I often give him sliced up apple and a really clean PB. He also likes burgers ketchup only (I use minimal if store bought but I also make my own clean and fermented one) or hot dogs ketchup only. I minimize the normal buns and go with low carb ones. With me I may make chauffel batter into bread or a biscuit for my buns and often add cheese, alvacado, fermented veggies or watermelon rind dill pickles. Most of that may not be the best but on snap with a teen it's definitely better than luchables or mc Donald's happy meal. I make my own chicken nuggets using Parmesan, egg, cheese, spices and salt, and ground chicken. At Christmas I make my own trail mix with dried fruit and nuts as one of the sticking stuffer options. I'm more along the lines of low fodmap and low carb in my diet but still very much animal based. Grass fed grass finished meats are out of my price range especially right now with my snap cut because of issues getting renewal in causing me to have to re apply then wait 2 months behind backlog issues. Most of my groceries aside from my stockpile (including home fermented or home canned/dehydrated foods) is coming from local food pantries so not a lot of pasture raised eggs, raw milk for my yogurt, or any of the really expensive but good stuff. What I've got rn is what I've got. And a teen boy is a bottomless pit especially my kid who is very slender with a ramped up metabolism. Gotta feed him a lot of nutrients dense food to fuel his body burning through everything growing like a weed. Kid is already half a inch taller than my 5'2 ass. He's not quite 14 yet.

    I just feel so overwhelmed trying to find food for my 2 kids that doesn’t have garbage in it, even I’m guilty of having a redbull or a cliff bar for breakfast when I’m running late. My kids grew up eating whatever their heart desires because when I was a kid I was told this is what is for breakfast, lunch, dinner, if you don’t eat this then your not eating anything at all (different time period 30 years ago obviously) so I wanted to let my kids not grow up how I did…….then I found out about how terrible seed oils are for you and the animal based diet, but at that point my oldest daughter was 7 and my youngest daughter was 2 so I have such a hard time getting them snacks or food that they will be like “yeah I def want that and have no issue eating it” or even finding stuff that still might not be the best for them but it’s better than what they eat now.

Wondering your opinion on this. Thanks!
