Salmon fishermen here and passionate about salmon. 15:40 Paul, I would encourage you to take a deeper dive into wild caught Alaskan sockeye salmon. Sockeye are unique among salmon because their diet consists of red algea and plankton they do not feed on other fish as all other species of salmon do so they're heavy metal counts are extremely low on top of that their lifespan by the time they're caught are 1 to 2 years old so they haven't had a lot of time to accumulate metals. Alaskan waters are also some of the most pristine waters and micro plastics levels are lower then most .
Thank you for this post. I enjoy sockeye and continue to eat it for the reasons you state. However, lowest levels of microplastics is good but still exposure to plastics exists. I have reduced my consumption of sockeye over the recent years.
We have a wild Alaskan salmon subscription and eat sockeye salmon two or three times a week depending on how much we have vs our travel schedule etc. I feel better about it because of your comment!

Whenever there is a meat (hamburger) recall it always involves tons and tons of meat because it came from 1000 cows and all mixed together. Buy your meat from your local farmer or rancher. Otherwise, the meat you buy probably has sick cow meat in it I don't give a damn whether it was "grass fed grass finished certified pastured raised organic $21.99 a pound" or not.
I love Pecorino Romano so much. This is basically where I get all my animal based food. I love the grass fed burgers also, I eat like 4-5 a day. Costco has also had lots of organic mangos lately, I have been eating mostly organic mangos, organic orange juice, organic coconut water, and organic blueberries as my fruit, I will usually pick 2 to eat in one day and get like 200-250 calories from fruit total. Was he joking? Or are Fujis superior in some way? We’re planting some trees next year and we’re going to plant honey crisps unless I’m missing something about Fujis?
Pink lady's for me ❤😊
Thanks for this info. FYI…Costco posts green label prices up for anything organic! Which is wonderful IMO
Once a month I have to go to Raleigh NC. I went to thier Asian store today. Got organ meats!
I started eating a lot more meats in my diet. I've always hated the taste of liver but still ate it because it's so good for you. I started slow smoking it with oak on my grill and it tastes much better.
thats why i only eat romaine lettuce. it has 0 oxlates.
Where i lived in maine for a year they sold maple syrup by the gallon. Man i miss north waterford maine.
the Kirkland non organic EVOO is single sourced..its in plastic, but i think its the best choice at Costco.
Trader Joe's has an excellent single source EVOO in glass. 😊
Sure wish there wold be that store in my town. Instead traveling 2 half one way hrs in way. Especially at 79 yrs age
The information about eating meat makes me feel so much better. I’ve never been a big fish eater, just don’t like it. I notice if I don’t have meat, I don’t feel satisfied. Thank you!!!
I tried the New Zealand butter and honestly it doesn't taste nearly as good as Kerry Gold. We have a local brand here that tastes even better
Amazing information can you do more information on nonorganic foods and if you can only afford nonorganic how to get rid of the pesticides. As always keep up the good work ❤
Love seeing this content! You are awesome watching you for a long time now and following the same diet as best as possible and helped me tremendously.
I bought the grass fed beef burgers that were pre pattied at costco, and the patties were loaded with hair!! Never again
I hope you returned them.
There for extra protein
😮😮😮
wow///I stick to the ground beef over by meat dept and steaks.
14:00 lmao
Hit em with the buttered dates! Love it
Hello! I have been watching your videos for a while and have been animal based for almost a year. I love the way I feel, but I am starting to get super interested in nutrition. I have just been eating like how you say to eat, but I want to gain a deeper understanding and actually KNOW stuff like how you do. Could you make a video on how to find/read/interpret articles? Maybe stuff to look out for like conflicts of interest, etc. Thanks!
Fruit is an animal now
'I'm not going to piss on your campfire too much' is not something I thought Paul would say
The bad thing about organic is that non organic farms are usually nearby enough that their pesticides seep into the soil and these organic farms still get some pesticide traces in their produce
Currently watching this eating grass fed beef patty with potatoes and yogurt 👍.
I looked up the Kirkland manchego, which is sheep milk cheese from Spain and delicious. But it has been pasteurized. Usually it would be raw. You can look up specific cheeses online to see if they’ve been heated.
If you live in the Central Valley, you can go straight to the farm!!! that’s what I do. It’s the coolest thing ever.
Dr. Paul I just watched your grounding versus earthing video and I think you should check out a short TED talk by a doctor called Dr. Laura Koniver, MD…. She explains all of this so clearly from a physician’s point of you that you are going to you so appreciate…. You should interview her on your channel. I’m sure she would do it.
Beware of the Wagyu labels. Lots of companies are getting away with it without actually selling it.
Not really, it's just not 100% waygu, they usually add around 5% to ground beef. If it was 100% waygu, it'd be way more expensive
Was it me or was Dr. Paul extra paranoid of the Costco police in this one. 😆
You are not wrong here haha!
@@Paulsaladinomd you mentioned you only buy organic Fuji Apples, can you let us know why or make a short video on the benefit’s. I have a feeling It’s because of their high levels of bioflavonoids but wanted to make sure. TIA
Can you do a video on food for young children, specifically newborns and if there is a way to influence proper jaw and tooth development?
Greatest to ever do it, thank you Dr. Paul.
Paul you are the man !!! could you tell us more about pork meat and also cooking with lard? thank you so much
Pork is full of parasites 😮
paul prefers fruit to salad .. while ignoring that tomatoes, zucchinis, cucumbers, squashes, eggplants, olives, and many more, are also fruits. you are allowed to use olive oil with these :)
14:03 that catch :O
I love these hauls ❤
What do you think of silicone tools and containers Paul?
