- OK, so I wrote this song and then I decided that I would write words to it and sing it in Spanish. I'm trying to learn how to speak Spanish because that is my mother's heritage, but also I just love the Spaniards and I love my luthier, Marco Gamarra - such a nice guy.
The title is an 'oak tree and a songbird,' and it's metaphorical. When I was trying to explain this to my friend Joan in Spain he was like, "but I thought it was about a tree and a bird", and I'm like it's metaphorical. It's a love song. My boyfriend (Max Enloe) is as tall and strong as an oak tree, and I'm the little songbird flying around. Ya, ok, it's a little gushy, but right now I don't know so much Spanish so I'm sticking to the bits and pieces I do know. The tune itself is supposed to sound like the songbird flying around the oak, you get the idea. Anyway, that's that.
Soulful.
Great!
I've got the same Gurdy on order with Marco!
Excellent. Marco is the best, and if you need any help with anything related to gurdy or the tenor, just let me know and I'm happy to help!
How kind of you 🙏
Love it!
Thanks Matt!!!
THANK YOU YOUR THE BEST
You are most welcome, Romeo. 😺
Just lovely Noelle❤
Thanks Steve!!
Very nice. Smooth harmonies and tunes these days. 😋
Thanks Charlie! Wish you were coming to the Workshop in August!
Yeah, I'm going to be in the UK for awhile at that time. Definitely would be a nice time of year to be in NH.
🙏 nice one ☝️
Thanks!!
Is there a vegan/gluten free version of this available?
The GF version is pretty bland and unappealing, the Vegan option uses some sort of thing that resembles meat but really looks like old peanut butter and as a result has a tendency to be sloppy and induce vomiting.
@@noelle-beaudin hmm, I was thinking more along the lines of a sturdy hurdy gurdy curdy.
