The ghetto blaster is what I like to call the honey badger's evil cousin, which is saying a lot, considering the honey badger is one of the toughest animals known to man.
However, I'm specifically referring to the honey badger rifle made by Q.
The ghetto blaster, for all intents and purposes, is the same gun as the honey badger, with some slight differences.
These distinctions may not be immediately apparent in side-by-side pictures, but in person, the ghetto blaster, though very similar to the honey badger, possesses a personality of its own.

I have a Noveske serial numbered in the 100s, which he did personally for me. John was a patriot. His passion for what he built for us was only trumped by his love for Country and Family. Buy a Noveske. His legacy lives on.

.300 blackout subsonic has the same energy @100 yards that a .45 shoots from the muzzle.
honemstly it is the reason i went to school to be a gunsmith.
the ability to build amunition that at range has teh same effects as at the muzzle is what gets me excited.
and to do that near scilent and in such an effective package is why .300 blackout is probably the coolest round.
You should check out 'swype' style keyboards for your device. They help when your fingers aren't girly and small, lol.

@@wesprice3826 why not review both ends of the spectrum? Plenty of people can afford KAC, Wilson Combat, Nighthawk, Noveske, Cabot, Infinity, TTI, Salient, DD etc. Otherwise, they’d all be out of business 💸
Happy to see a Noveske on the channel. I am definitely a fan of Noveske rifles, Noveske rifles/pistols are like Daniel Defense, LWRC, BCM, Radian, ect..., ect.... but, built like tanks. Noveske, Knights Arment and a few other companies rifles you know you can beat, run the hell out of and pass down for generations without thinking twice if it will last. I just spoke to Erin with Noveske today to see when my replacement charging handle was being shipped out. I bought a new Noveske Gen 4 N9 and the charging handle was scratched a bit on the left side when I went to pick it up from the ffl I got it from. Noveske warranted the charging handle (which is a Geissele made for Noveske with Noveske logo) without question. Erin said who knows when it got scratched up, in packaging, not likely, not to blame anyone but, possibly at your ffl, either way it doesn't matter, we will warranty it out for you.
Great group of guys over at Noveske in OR. Fantastic rifles, parts ect.... the Ghetto Blaster, Space Baby ect... love some of the naming they come up with, very unique and uniquely Noveske.
Yea they have a lifetime fully transferable posession based (not purchase based) no questions warranty. At least they did when I got mine, a Gen1 N4.
The Ghetto Blaster was my first Noveske back in 2018, fell in love with it the very first time I watched the OG Ghetto Blaster video Noveske put out and had to find one for myself. Will forever be my favorite Noveske that I own.

I built a Faxon 7.5” 1:5 upper, with an HBPDW lower from PSA. It is a Ghetto Badger. The thing is my favorite gun. With a Surefire 300sps, it’s insane.

This particular Noveske is an unexpected wonder. A super functional piece of tactical bliss. It just feels so "ready to run"
I had a Sony Ghetto blaster in the 80's. It was amazing.
Something close to this, a Gen4 Noveske Lower w/the Q Trigger, an LMT Monolithic 10.5" 300BO Upper. If you want solid, it fits the bill. I need to run it some more to get a better feel for how it runs, but it's solid.
*sigh* another amazing gun that Colion reviews that I have no chance of being able to afford. 😅

As much as I love them, I would not pay what Q is asking these days. They are the Apple of gun manufacturers.

Love Noveske... John was sooooo damn cool to work with he sent me a couple of 6.5 uppers before they were cool. I have an original diplomat, and currently my favorite is a Noveske 12.5"
Great rifle. I opted for the Chainsaw 10.5 SBR in 5.56. 183 days for form 4 approval. Get you a modlite button for the surefire torch to free up a little rail space on top.

AKA the Boujee Badger. I try to like Noveske but they are an elite clique if your a commoner they don't really like you. Not trying to talk smack but influencers get special treatment. Back in 2015 I special ordered a switchblock (when they had to be special ordered, i.e., specific to your build) I provided all the information, barrel length, gas system, what handguard brand, etc etc etc. What I got was not what I ordered and was berated by their customer service person. No refunds since its a special order part. Long Story Short, I ended up having to fund a new build around the specs of the switchblock they sent me. Literally the most expensive gas block on the planet. The cost of two upper builds.

I have several Noveske rifles. I quit playing their games. Nothing is ever in stock, you can't get them on the phone, and the guns are arguably lower quality since John passed. I think LWRC is just as good or better.

Lemme tell ya a story.
I have a Brownells BRN-180 10.5" in 7.62x39. Lower is a Franklin Armory with their buy nary boom switch. With 190 and 208gr subs (AK-47 specific), the only distinct sound is the action cycling.
I call it The Black Russian.
Cool rifle, but I personally think SBR's would work better with pistol calibers as opposed to rifle calibers. Reason being with the rifle calibers you're trading velocity and effective range for a more concealable package.
it looks like that optic is up plenty high enough. You might just be happier with a different stock. I think you would get more out of just putting a different stock on it. My AR pistol is kind of on the heavy side. I wish it were lighter.

Very nice detailed info on Noveske GB. I have the Diplomat and definitely like it more then the DD mk18. They do build a very good firearms.
So with that setup we can understand how uncomfortable "just the tip" poking around can be. More surface area in the pocket or crease always feels better.

The engineering is more impressive on the honey badger but I just love the ghetto blaster.
All of my 30AAC uppers have adjustable gas blocks…specifically to allow optimal cycling across the super/sub, can/no can configurations.
It proved especially beneficial for the DI systems. Piston guns seem far more forgiving…

My dad just bought his first AR. He hasn't owned a gun in 30+ years. Not kidding when I say that I think he chose a something chambered in 300 Blackout simply because it sounds cool.
I built pretty much this same weapon, mines a bit shorter though with Deadfoot Arms buffer system, did it for just under a grand, if your not going to suppress it a linear compensator is a must.

Does it take Mil spec AR parts, BCG etc. I don't like AR's that have proprietary parts that I can't buy cheap replacements for. Rather buy a 10.5 556 that I can find parts probably almost anywhere even on the ground in a "SHTF" scenario.
