Noob here just want to say thanks and really appreciate this video. Never had a problem with my 9mm, but I've been having this issue with my first, new 10mm yesterday and today. I was already fixing to have it serviced. Thanks, again!
How many instructors did you ask? It takes quite a bit of dirt/dust and lack of oil to stop any newer pistol from functioning/cycling properly. You had the number one cause on the nose. Limp wrist. That had more to do with any jam that what most will admit to. Even those of us they have shot for long time have a hard time admitting to newbie mistakes once in a while. I think maybe you should've said malfunctions, not jams.
Limp wrist is huge for sure. I talked to 10 or 12 instructors of various courses of fire. And I forgot to mention oiling a magazine. A brand new, not yet broken in, and dry steel magazine can add alot headache. I'm assuming that's more an issue with cheap off brand mags. I've personally got very little experience with steel mags.
Yes it is; the gun that killed Remington. It's actually a nice little 9mm, but they really botched its release and ruined the reputation. For some darn reason, I can shoot it better than any other semi-auto pistol.
You answered all my questions 👍thank you 🙏
Limp wristing I have done but my issue is my shoulder is broken!
I just got a new Glock
And it was jamming the whole time
Annoying
Thanks from Spain man! Really appreciate these tips

keep clean and oiled lightly it will never miss fire or jam!
Thanks man. I need to oil my Glock 17 then. Any oil recommendations?
HOPES NO.9 gun oil is the best for both lubricity and rust protection, and it doesn't gum up like some oils do.
i LOVE THIS MAD MAN

You forgot to mention weak springs in your mags for older guns and mags that you may leave full.
That can be an issue for sure. These were just the top 2 according the shooting instructors I talked to.

Those are good points that need to be made with the influx of new shooters.
Even us experienced shooters need a reminder now and then.
Great beginner tips.
Glad you think so, pass them on!
