I must say, it's super interesting to see my own country from a completely different point of view! You're definitely showing me that my country has plenty to offer and that some cities are worth traveling to! I'm happy that you're enjoying your time in Poland and wish you all the best!
I love your vlogs! I'm from Poland and I really recomend to go to Zakopane(Tatra Mountain)-around 1 hour way from Cracow. Awsome place with specific, fantastic culture. This is definitely my favorite place in Poland. Magic of this place is unique- wooden houses, regional poland music, hight mountains around... I think, you fall in love :)
Dorota Dudzic 1 hour? It is more about 2 hours from Cracov (with low traffic) . Still worth to visit as Tatry (mountains) are this part of Europe one of the most beautiful mountains described sometimes as "small Alps"
Of all the vlogs I watch, yours is by far one of the best, don't know why, but to me it is as if I am with you guys, just the way you film and talk. well done!
I am right now in Krakow, and i am completally stunned. I come from the Czech republic and now i study in Lublin, Poland and this is my first time in Krakow. And i know that i will return here or maybe live here for a while. Love this place so much.
Nice to see that people really enjoy our country top cities . Kraków is great place to start, because is very rich in our culture. Zakopane is second must see place, mountains and a lot of good food. Cheers from Poland !
HEard so much about the beauty of Krakau and you just showed it to us. Lovely Airbnb, especially for working separately haha.. We also like to rent an Airbnb for one month. The perfect way to experience the local habits and traditions.
Just wanted to say that you guys are amazing :) I'm glad that you're having a great time here in Poland! I'm really happy that you're actually interested in our history and legends and doing some research about the places you decide to visit :)
I'm very happy you like "my" apartment - it's weird feeling to see a place you lived in on someone else vlog... current owners decorated the place with nice paintings as well. BTW - flat white is not very popular in Poland - we rather drink "biala kawa" - "white coffee" - it's a long coffee with some milk (about 30 ml). Podgórze was a opposite city to Krakow - you would need to deep dive into history - cities were united about 101 years ago. On Saturday morning you have "Targ Pietruszkowy" near Korona (place you were at the gym I think) - you can get bio/eco home grown stuff there.
Haha must feel strange watching what it looks like now! Yeah the ol flat white and lattes aren't really that great, will be switching to the white coffee for sure. Hope you enjoyed seeing your old place.
Big thanks for posting that video - I'm very happy that visitors like the place and current owners make great use of that space. Now I live closer to Zakrzówek - google it - you may find it refreshing to have a picnic plus a cold beer there (bring your own stuff) during hot days of summer :)
Thank you for this video! No other vloggers have spent time at the Forum hotel. When I lived there, it was eventually closed and was just an empty shell. Later I learned that they had opened a night club there. Still, I never got to check it out. Plus, that church reminded me of a wedding I went to at another church nearby over 10 years ago. Thanks again!
hotel forum is my favourite bar in krakow, great in the summer! its great you went dj's play on sundays at a later time about 10 or so, by that time im just tiring myself out playing ping pong inside.
You were lucky to live in Podgórze. I absolutely love living in this district and I am so happy you two show all the beauty of it and the rest of Kraków :)
We never made it to Krakow, thanks for the look! That place looks so cozy. We miss the EU feel like you were saying at the cafe's. :p Looks awesome guys.
Krakow is awesome guys, great spot! Any air con cafe is better than sweating in a Bali cafe though :P Throw in a smoothie bowl in Bali and we've got a dilemma though.
Daneger and Stacey i think it shows the more "real" side of travel. Not everyday is out doing awesome stuff! There are days where you just want to chill in a cool place!
Podgòrze would literally translate to “ under the hill”... Flat-whites are becoming more common in Poland, you can even get in at the Mc Café, and they taste better than the ones made in Australia! Wesoła cafe in krakow also makes great flat-whites..
If you are going to Gdansk next, interesting fact for you - it's actually a part of 3City metropolis: Gdansk has a 1000 years old medieval, Hanseatic old town, great WW2 museum and incredible wild beach on Sobieszewska Island. Second is Sopot, quite small XIX style summer resort with the longest wooden pier in Europe that today is a summer party capital of Poland but the same time has these lovely hills with small villas you can just get lost walking among. And third one is Gdynia, only 90 years old, quite modern city, with young vibe, great Emigration Museum and a huge shipyard you can actually sight-see from the boat. All this alongside the beautiful sandy beach that stretch for miles, alle the way to Hel peninsula (with a single "l" ;-). If you are looking for the great place for breakfast, I recommend "Zatoka Sztuki" in Sopot where you can eat your breakfast literally on the beach (and it's has a club for the evening) and for dinner "Eliksir" in Gdansk with incredible seasonal menu of polish traditions with a twist. A bonus would be an UMAM patisserie (just next door to Eliksir) that was voted best patisserie in Poland last year and has deserts just to die for. And in the Gdansk old town, if you are for something smaller while sightseeing Gdansk old town, try "Beef Bar Grobla" - the best polish beef done as steaks & sandwiches with the really reasonable prices.
Marzena Lidia I second that as a 3city resident! Zatoka Sztuki (Art Bay) is a cool bar, club, gallery, restaurant, and a beach all in one, in Sopot. :)
Masz racje troche dystansu... moze sprobuj go nabrać? hmm co z tego ze budynki sa odbudowane? Nie zmienia to faktu ze miasto ma ponad tysiąc lat. Magia i ciągłość historyczna? Serio, wojna nie odbiera ciągłośći historycznej. Poza tym gdańsk sie nie ukrywa z tym, ze został zniszczony, zaraz na wejsciu masz zdjecia ze zniszeniami po wojennymi.
Wow! Your apartment is beautiful! Love that artwork over the bed. Pretty cool! Really nice neighborhood and great apartment. Must’ve been fun staying there for a month. By the way, you guys look very relaxed! 🤩 Your behind the scenes is always cool to checkout ✌🏽
It's a really arty house, lots of colour and cool paintings everywhere made it feel really homely and unique. Definitely relaxed in Krakow, thats what the slow travel does, now for a 8 hour train mission, 3 straight days of filming before another 4 hour train haha.
We are, we did! It was literally yesterday and we’ve been editing through out the day on the train to get it up today - don’t think we’ve ever been as ‘real time’ with our videos! Completely understand why you like train travel it was much better than a bus!!
The place I've found right near the old square is about the same cost per day, but not as big. Still amazing value when compared to the larger cities in Western Europe.
Had to smile when Stacey mentioned that you have to work separately! Wife and I work at home together on 2 days most weeks. It works well so long as I keep up the supply of coffee and green tea :) When booking longer term accommodation, do you consciously make different decisions about what you are looking for in the place and location compared to shorter stay accommodation?
Sounds like our roles as well, coffee flowing keeps everyone happy! Yeah we do look for places that are functional - fridge, working space/s, washing machine, internet, microwave etc. The things anyone would normally need at home keeps our travels feeling some what settled.
Just a small KB about Hotel Forum, it was abandoned (not really even finished) because it was being built too close to the river (flooding, ground shifts etc.), and was deemed too dangerous for having people stay there. Cheers from Kraków! :D
Thanks for nice travel through my city :) Kraków is dope, you have been here by one month, but think about citizens ... we are addicts by years ;). Unfortunatelly for you, I saw lack a lot of points which are also worth to visit. ... you have to definitely check it next time. You were many times close to churches but I didn't saw none movies from inside ... did you checked churches inside also? St Mary, Wawel's Cathedral, Wawel's courtyard, St Jozef, Jewes synagoges, Barbakan, City medieval wall, Main Market Underground museum, museum Schindlera, Krakow's mounds, NH (trip by communism disctrict),...and much more ... this is just a bit of list for next trip. :) Have a good time in Poland.
Lovely, so nice to see another video from my beloved country! Guys, are you going somewhere else in Poland as well? You def should! Poznan, Wroclaw, Gdansk or Warsaw? Go go and record more for us! It is so nice to see those beautiful shots while I live in Asia :)
Very interesting and really neat apartment you got there, I thought Poland is gonna be expensive. Thanks for this vlog totally awesome as usual. Btw, nice to see u guys working out while traveling, keep it up 🤘🤘🤘
Hey Dane and Stacey, I hope you guys go to Hungary one of these days. It's one of my favorite places and I'm sure you would like it. I haven't been there since 2007 so I'd like for you to show me how it's changed since then.Hungary has many nice towns and beautiful villages---and of course there's the capital Budapest, a very exciting city full of interesting things.
Daneger and Stacey I agree! At least Budapest! It is stunning! A lil' boat trip on the Danubae! If you can't, just come to Eastern Europe again and do Budapest-Eastern Romania too (my city, Oradea, Maramures, Cluj). Oh, the possibilities! But whatever your destination will be, enjoy and thank you for sharing your travelling experiences with us!
I guess you don't know that between opening wide from opening just the top there are also quarter openings for micro ventilation. Place handle under 45' 😀
air quality would surprise you if you could do your research properly and understood that people are manipulating you with all the smog bullshit and air quality.
Hi guys, thanks for the great videos. We're in Poland but we have already signed up with Air B&B si cant follow the link you gave but wondered if you could send a link so we can view the apartment. :)
You just need to sign up with a different email address to get the money :) danegerandstacey.com/bnb here is the listing: www.airbnb.com/rooms/18271992
Great Apartment - Do you booked all the month ? Apparently im def and i don't have heard it. Ha ha ha ha and i wondering how you stay in such a perfect shape :) after eating and drinking so many things - Props guys (Stacey stay in perfect form - man you are a lucky one ;) ) Cracow is one of the most beautiful city's in Poland and take into account that almost 60% of all city's in Poland were rebuild after war when my grandma describe old Warsaw that new one have no comparison to that old one much much more majestic and elegant. You must see for sure Posen Warsaw and tricity Gdańsk Sopot and Gdynia melted to one conglomerate its awesome, and our Polish Sea Baltic ! (Its freezing cold :P but still beautiful. ) Btw. Do you Fly or ride a Train from Berlin to Cracow ? Stay tuned have nice time and best impressions from the trip! Bye ! PS Grate tatto some celtic vibes ?
Yup whole month via Airbnb, more expensive than local costs, but easy to book in advance. We train hard and eat healthy, fortunately Stace listens to my nutrition advice and I'm pretty much her personal trainer as well haha, she's into it and that also makes me happy lol. We got a bus from Berlin to Krakow :)
I wish you all the best and im waiting next vlogs from Tricity and coast :] Ps. You were traveling trough Lubuskie (its a "Powiat" like "state" in Us only much much smaller ;) - It is a west side Poland strict to the border and river Odra a 150 km from Berlin) when you were riding to Krakow ? Its the region were i live ;) and more specifically in Gorzów Wielkopolski its second biggest city in this region it is situate on the northern part of Lubuskie. Safe road and another good time - Bye guys !
Hey Jarek Otrebski, you can check all our equipment, gear and stuff we use daily on our site- danegerandstacey.com/our-equipment/ Thanks for the comment 🤘🏼
You definitly shall visit Auschwitz camp very close to Krakow, such an important historic place and worth to show to young audience as a history lesson
Hello from Ventura, California! Great video. Question, how do you guys book flights? I’ve flown overseas a few times and have relied on Expedia. What other apps or ways do you suggest using when researching flights? Thank you for all the hard work you guys put into your videos. The quality really shows!
Hey Richard - best tool we use for planning is Kiwi: geni.us/bestflights Probably the main reason is the ability to select a date period (so you can fly on the cheaper day), also you can easily plan multi city stops and to select one location and scroll around on a map to get a view of costs. As others have mentioned though, Skyscanner and Google flights are helpful, but Kiwi is the winner for sure.
That's what I thought, but I heard you mention "pilsner" several times in previous videos and then here you said "what we had before" or something to that effect :) No worries, the important thing is that you enjoyed it!
Hey Shaolin Style - our camera is here on Amazon- geni.us/ourcamera but you can always check our equipment and full travel gear on our site- danegerandstacey.com/our-equipment/
I've been thinking about your stay in Poland nad it would be great if you visit energylandia and also Warsaw just for 2 days and could go by train Kisses 😘
MUST visit the Warsaw Uprising Museum! Warsaw is not only a the capital but a hero-city, that was kicked it its proverbial teeth so many times, 1655, 1794, 1831, 1863, 1905, 1939, 1943, 1944.... Completely destroyed by the GERMANS while the Soviets cheered... and rebuild brick by brick....today it is a bustling 2-mill city with industries, and universities. Very modern and ambitious. While Krakow has somewhat layed-back atmosphere, Warsaw is all about business.
and for the food in Warsaw, you must try "Nocny Market" - night market opened from 5 pm till 1 am, Thursday through Sunday with the outdoor stands from 20+ restaurants across Warsaw, so you can try sooo many different things in one place! We are big for outdoor in the summer (as it's quite short), so if you are on Saturday in Warsaw, for breakfast you can try "Targ Śniadaniowy", a breakfast picnic that is arranged in two parks in the city where you can try local & international food and enjoy some peaceful time in the park For the park, I would strongly advise to see the Łazienki Park & if you're around on Sunday, at 12:00 and 4 pm you will have a free piano concert of Chopin music by the world class pianists while laying on the grass - an incredible 59 years old tradition of enjoying nature & music.
YAAAY! Cannot wait for your next vlogs! In Gdansk, please do not forget to check out 100cznia (small village built from ship containers) - both during a day and night (eat Pan Baleron - lovely beef steak sandwiches with cheese sauce) and ul.Elektrykow on Friday or Saturday evening. Both are at the historical shipyard (end of communism in Eastern and Central Europe has started there). In Gdansk, something off the beaten track -visit Gdańsk suburb of Zaspa, which has Europe’s largest neighbourhood collection of residential wall murals. When in Warsaw, Pawilony for evening beers and food as well as Nocny Market (it's at the former train station) turned into a hip place. All above are very local experiences and you won't see many tourists. I have remembered you were thinking of doing a vodka tour, you may find extremely interesting a brand new Museum of Wodka in Warsaw opened this week - tasting included. It's in an up-and-coming district of Praga, next to Google Campus. Enjoy guys! Lots of love
Double thumbs up from a fellow from Krakow who loves both Gdansk and Warsaw. When in Gdansk I'd probably add Garnizon and Old Wrzeszcz to the list (both the park and the architecture/place for the vibe in general) and Burakowska and Powiśle in Warsaw - Warsaw is actually a big metropolis so it really depends how long you can stay there but definitely some really impressive places to see! Also when in Gdansk make sure to check out Gdynia and Sopot (in that order I'd say) even if only for a day!
Hello, What is the address or the host name of the AIRBNB? I would like to check it out and book at my upcoming visit to Kraków. Thank you both beautiful couple .
Awesome apartment guys! Enjoy! But just saying the price of the flat in Australian & Nz is good value but for Europe or Poland where the living costs are much less than in Europe / Nz this apartment is expensive, especially for the locals living there. Air bnb has made live hard for many locals also in Aus & NZ
That apartment is really nice.Krakow seems to be a new cool destination worth visiting.Would you like me to send you a needle and thread for your jeans?
Has Poland gone all football mad like the rest of the world? Plenty of fun games to watch with some chilled beer.Germany just got their butts kicked hard by Mexico...ha ha! And Switzerland showed Brazil that they play better than chocolate😎

Tolle Stadt, tolle Aufnahmen und tolles Paar. Vielen Dank !!! LG aus Berlin ❤💐
Of all the vlogs I watch, yours is by far one of the best, don't know why, but to me it is as if I am with you guys, just the way you film and talk. well done!

Even your "day in the life" videos are epic!!
Yay - thanks Julie! About to film another actually, haven't done one in a long time.

Great vlog as always!!! Love the way you show the visiting places!!! :) And I'm soo glad you liked my city so much! :)
We love your city and country :) Thanks for you lovely comment
The quality of these vlogs is next level. Got yourself a new subscriber
Appreciate that, thanks!
How lovely! Krakov has lovely flats, often times with 2 floors, in historic buildings. :)
Really cool buildings huh! We just love Krakow though haha
its 2022 but i love to watch your videos and see a normal world
Haha we're dreaming of those days too
Thank you so much for sharing this video to all of us! It really felt like I was there with you guys exploring the city :) Good vibes from Manila, PH!
So cool, glad you felt that way, thanks for leaving a comment!
You were lucky to live in Podgórze. I absolutely love living in this district and I am so happy you two show all the beauty of it and the rest of Kraków :)
Beautiful area, even after a month of exploring the city we would again pick Podgorze :)
I absolutely loved the sugar rock being thrown in the coffee!! I’m visiting Poland next year August! I’m binge watching all of your videos
thanks! Your gonna love it
We never made it to Krakow, thanks for the look!
Thanks for sharing guys! I did enjoy the more chilled out side of it this time! Its great to see its not all blazè all the time!
It's a weird one, we think people don't care about these chilled day style vlogs but then we get comments like this and it reminds us! Thanks man.
Daneger and Stacey i think it shows the more "real" side of travel. Not everyday is out doing awesome stuff! There are days where you just want to chill in a cool place!
Guys, I've recently discovered you channel and I have to say I love your content! Keep it up.

Forum is the best place to go out and chill, I'm glad you liked it :)
Cool place! Why was there no music though, is that normal?
Holy s**t, I totally saw you guys at my gym, this is why you guys are so familiar! I'm an Aussie living in Krakow! Love the vids!
Haha that’s funny you’ve found the video now and clicked 👌🏼
Just a small KB about Hotel Forum, it was abandoned (not really even finished) because it was being built too close to the river (flooding, ground shifts etc.), and was deemed too dangerous for having people stay there. Cheers from Kraków! :D
Thats a legit KB right there - wish we knew that one going in, thanks!
Daneger and Stacey No problem, stay awesome! 😊
Love you both
Greetings from a Pole living in Toronto🤗

Love your Videos... there’s so much to see
Thanks Kasper!
Yay! Been waiting for these vids :) thx!
Hope it was worth the wait :P
I love that you guys can't work at the same desk - that's so funny - totally the naughty kids in school!! ;-)
We're little kids distracting each other haha. Hope you're well Charlie!

U should visit Toruń also, its good connection between Gdańsk nad Toruń, just 2hrs by car, Toruń is really worth to see ;), Google It and decide;).
Very interesting and really neat apartment you got there, I thought Poland is gonna be expensive. Thanks for this vlog totally awesome as usual. Btw, nice to see u guys working out while traveling, keep it up 🤘🤘🤘
Thanks Ruby! Poland is really well priced, especially compared to other spots in Europe - plus, it helps that we absolutely love this place.
This vlog was awesome! I'm learning a lot from you guys about Poland! Can't wait to visit! Was the gym just a local one close to your Airbnb?
We highly recommend Poland! Yeah there was actually a few gym options, this was local and had no sign up fee, but wasn't as new as the others.

We've been planning to make Budapest fit into our plans after Greece - TBC, but we're hopeful :)
But whatever your destination will be, enjoy and
thank you for sharing your travelling experiences with us!
I guess you don't know that between opening wide from opening just the top there are also quarter openings for micro ventilation. Place handle under 45' 😀
Yup we figured that one out first - so cool
Love a new video from you guys mornings! You got a big thumbs up for the double fisting the beer!
Thanks man! Happy mornings :)
Ooo my favorite gym Power2Fit :-)
When are you coming to Warsaw and Gdańsk?
a po co?
jakie tam są zabytki?
Sooooon! Gdansk will be first :)
Gdansk is effin AWESOME! Been there this may.
After one month in Krakow, the air quality at Polish coast will surpise you :-)
air quality would surprise you if you could do your research properly and understood that people are manipulating you with all the smog bullshit and air quality.
Guys, don't leave Poland without seeing Poznan and Gdansk, or you will have more reasons to comeback next summer ;)
Cheers
We're not leaving - on the train right now to our next spot :)
Can't wait to find out what's your next destination, Lol :)
2:56 This painting looks interesting but a bit wierd at the same time. I like it
Wow high quality for a good price . Air bnb in London would cost me 3000 £
Crazy how pricey London is huh!!

"Couples who eat donuts have to train together.." So funny 😄
So funny, so true 😂
Daneger and Stacey 🤣
I’m surprised you didn’t mention the bad coffee. or who knows, maybe I’m wrong about that.
We had pretty decent coffee but you really do have to go looking for it
R U guys planning to visit any other Polish cities?
I recommend Warsaw, Gdansk and Wroclaw.
Yup - Gdansk is next!
You definitly shall visit Auschwitz camp very close to Krakow, such an important historic place and worth to show to young audience as a history lesson
Auschwitz na przedmieściach Krakowa ?.Gdzie można kupić to co bierzesz?:)
In Auschwitz you definitely have to visit block #15 first.
Hello from Ventura, California! Great video. Question, how do you guys book flights? I’ve flown overseas a few times and have relied on Expedia. What other apps or ways do you suggest using when researching flights? Thank you for all the hard work you guys put into your videos. The quality really shows!
Richard Ng skyscanner?
If U are going to Poland, take a flight Los Angeles- Warsaw by LOT Polish Airlines. Good price, new plane, nice servis;)
Google flights is also good to find the cheapest flights
Hey Richard - best tool we use for planning is Kiwi: geni.us/bestflights Probably the main reason is the ability to select a date period (so you can fly on the cheaper day), also you can easily plan multi city stops and to select one location and scroll around on a map to get a view of costs. As others have mentioned though, Skyscanner and Google flights are helpful, but Kiwi is the winner for sure.
Next time when U will visit Kraków U need to see part of Kraków called Nowa Huta best part of town to live in
It was on our list (along with LOTS of other things) but sadly didn't get there. Next time! Next vlogs are from up north :)
Great content ✌️
Thanks man
You've been having Pilsner Urquell all that time? For shame! xD I really do hope you got a taste of some local craft beer :)
Haha of course not!!! There was no local draft beer
That's what I thought, but I heard you mention "pilsner" several times in previous videos and then here you said "what we had before" or something to that effect :) No worries, the important thing is that you enjoyed it!
Haha we were referencing Prague where we had been the week prior!
Aaaah, don't mind me then :D
What camera do you use for V-Log?
Hey Shaolin Style - our camera is here on Amazon- geni.us/ourcamera but you can always check our equipment and full travel gear on our site- danegerandstacey.com/our-equipment/
I've been thinking about your stay in Poland nad it would be great if you visit energylandia and also Warsaw just for 2 days and could go by train
Kisses 😘
We wil be visiting Warsaw :)
Daneger and Stacey omg soooo great!!! Have a lot of fun!
Get some sun beds Danegar to match Stacey's beautiful skin colour tone.
Hahaha! Hadnt spent much time in the sun here, soz, check out our recent Bali videos and you'll see I'm closing the gap on her caramel colour.
You're going to Warsaw? Great! It's my city and I can give you guys some hints. ;D
Yup, we'll get there eventually!
We are big for outdoor in the summer (as it's quite short), so if you are on Saturday in Warsaw, for breakfast you can try "Targ Śniadaniowy", a breakfast picnic that is arranged in two parks in the city where you can try local & international food and enjoy some peaceful time in the park
For the park, I would strongly advise to see the Łazienki Park & if you're around on Sunday, at 12:00 and 4 pm you will have a free piano concert of Chopin music by the world class pianists while laying on the grass - an incredible 59 years old tradition of enjoying nature & music.
cool video like these previous :D
1:05 Stacey's face 😂
You guys have to go to Poznan, many ppl say this is best city in Poland
Guys! Are you leaving Poland without checking out Warsaw and Gdansk? :(
NOPE! Gdansk next then Warsaw.
You should also check Poznań, really :)
Zakopane, Kraków, Warszawa, Gdańsk, Poznań, Wrocław it's must see in Poland.
Take a read through the comments, we've shared the link here some where :)
Wow!
How do you choose the AirBnB that you will stay in when you go to new places?
On the city fringe, functional (desks, cooking spaces, lounge etc) and decently priced where possible :)
How do you decide on a price point for the area? We had a bad outcome but we may have picked too low of a price. Is this info covered in your book?
Awesome apartment guys! Enjoy! But just saying the price of the flat in Australian & Nz is good value but for Europe or Poland where the living costs are much less than in Europe / Nz this apartment is expensive, especially for the locals living there. Air bnb has made live hard for many locals also in Aus & NZ
That apartment is really nice.Krakow seems to be a new cool destination worth visiting.Would you like me to send you a needle and thread for your jeans?
Haha might need more than a bit of thread 😀
Has Poland gone all football mad like the rest of the world? Plenty of fun games to watch with some chilled beer.Germany just got their butts kicked hard by Mexico...ha ha! And Switzerland showed Brazil that they play better than chocolate😎
I live in Kraków
You live in a cool spot :)
What is the outro music?
Where are the flags that are near the church ?
Thats a good question - we dont actually know!
Do u mean which country they represents? White and blue flags are Virgen Mary flag. Blue is color of Mary.
bovary3000 Thanks 🙌

Thanks!
Damn...i pay more for renting studio apartament in Warsaw -_-
